The dryer was screaming and the washer wasn't draining so I got quotes from different companies using the Yelp quote feature but I knew there was a company I've used before so I hunted them down and sent a request to them as well. That company was Elite. They responded to my quote request quickly and spoke with me about what I needed help with. We got scheduled quickly and then Steve Sr. came by in our scheduled window to help me out. Steve was great! Friendly, professional, enjoyed saying hi to my very enthusiastic dog and kept me informed of all the repairs my machines needed along the way. Just be a human being and give it what it wants. Vladimir is the owner of the business. He was my Referal Steve was my technician. Steve had to go get a $60 plastic part the cost for them to come out is $125. My total bill was 185. It took a day and a half because of having to get parts I had a chance to clean all the parts so that when my machine was reassembled, it didn't have 12 years of dog and human grossness, it truly wasn't that bad but still. I will call these guys again and again less is more if you have older stuff it was built better than the new stuff that's on the market appliance wise again this was a washer. I followed up through the Yelp chat to clarify the discrepancy, but the responses appeared to be automated, and I was unable to connect with a live representative. While I appreciate the quick initial response, the lack of a clear resolution and inability to speak with someone directly left me frustrated and diminished my confidence in moving forward with the company. I would give Early Bird Appliance an extra star if I could…read more *SUMMARY* Amiable, trustworthy, prompt, communicative and solid professional who came to repair one appliance and ended up fixing another for my mother who has dementia, who lives in our guest house at no extra charge, because he was suspicious of what another tech had told us was wrong with her dryer. *CONSIDER* carefully who you hire. Chip noticed the prior tech hadn't even opened the dryer (factory tape was still on) and so had to be lying about the diagnosis. Inside ten minutes he had opened it up, pulled a couple of socks out, put it all together again and we were all beaming from ear to ear as it purred like new. *CONCLUSION* It's not often that I get to recommend someone wholeheartedly but here I am on Yelp.
