I like to avoid anything along Memorial Road, since inevitably you'll be driving a mile the wrong way at least one way to get to your destination, but Revolve was worth a trip back. I got my first experience there at the November Elite event, when Julie and I ate before everyone got there. I got the Revolve Salad and the Loaded Baked Potato Pizza. Both are AWESOME and worth going back for. The Revolve Salad is your basic salad which you can add to or detract toppings from since Revolve is basically the Cool Greens/Chipotle/Subway of Pizza. Their Italian dressing is made in house and tastes delicious! They also have a bunch of olive oil varieties by the soda fountain that you can sample. The baked potato pizza sounds awful, but is actually incredible. Think about it. Chives & Cheddar Sauce, mozzarella, diced potatoes & bacon. Finished with fresh chives, cheddar cheese & sour cream. Seriously, the best. The people at Revolve are SUPER friendly and I have enjoyed them on every trip into the restaurant. The best part? The Spin 2 for $7--a salad or a soup and a pizza or a pasta. FOR $7. If you can handle the abyss that is anything within 2 miles of Quail Springs, Revolve is definitely worth trying out. read more

First time ordering here in a couple of years. Ordered the pizza on Saturday night by phone and the guy said it would be 45 minutes. After I hung up, I couldn't imagine it taking that long, so I called back. He said it would be 35-45 minutes. That was at 6:45 - we arrived and picked up around 7:10 (20-25 min later) and the order was ready. Got home (2 miles away) and the pizza was cold. Had to have been ready much earlier than our pickup. And I'm pretty sure I could've bought 6 heads of romaine lettuce for the size of the salad...$8! it was about the size of most individual side salads - makes me wonder how small the individual for $4 would be! What a seriously GREAT experience! We came in on a Sunday around 7:30 and the sisters (twins??) greeted us super friendly, answered all of our menu questions, made us DELICIOUS food exactly how we ordered it, and then went above and beyond with their service! Not that impressed. Blaze has better wood fire pizza where you get to select your own toppings. The dining area was half closed due to COVID but only 4 people working. The tables were dirty and the drink dispenser surfaces had not been cleaned in awhile. I had to ask for plates, straw, salt and pepper (3x) and the canned beer was not good. The pizza itself was ok. The toppings could have been more generous but the crust was good. Son also liked his Mac and cheese. So I gave 3 stars. The workers have always been super friendly and willing to make anything I wanted. I love that they have the new soda machines with the multi flavor options. Forget blaze, go to Revolve. Full disclosure, I like Blaze Pizza better than Revolve Pizza Kitchen. If you hate Blaze, we may not have the same tastes so feel free to disregard this review in its entirety. With that said, I may have also just made a so-so pizza at Revolve. I'm a firm believer that when it comes to BYO restaurants, your food is only as good as you make it...so it may not even be Revolve's fault. Who knows! First off, Revolve's dough is hand-pressed and tastes great. It was nice to see pizza dough that wasn't flattened by a machine and waiting in bulk stacks for customers. That said, as much as I liked the taste of the crust, it was a little too crispy for me. I've never been a crispy-crust kind of guy so if that's your thing, again, disregard this review in its entirety (or, you know, just keep reading for funsies). Along with the crust, the sauce that I got really didn't do much for me as it kinda dried out during the baking process. Whatever bits of pizza sauce I got tasted like basic tomato sauce. They've got some other fancy sauces so next time I'll be sure to check them out, especially the Vodka and Garlice Crème sauce. Now, maybe I'm just weird but I thought it was strange that the cheeses weren't placed together. They had the regular shredded mozzarella by itself, and then the other cheese choices over by the vegetables. I'm most definitely being overly picky about this but those cheeses should all be sectioned together. Once I've added the shredded mozzarella, my mind has already moved onto meats/veggie choices. Throwing additional cheeses into the toppings mix only makes things more complicated, Revolve! Kidding, no it doesn't. Well it kinda does, for me... In terms of toppings, there are a wide array of options, some of which you won't find at Blaze. The meats, in particular, were great. The pepperoni is a little thicker and wider than I'm used to but it was still tasty. And danng, they got Prosciutto? Revolve so fancy. The veggies were fine, I guess. I'm the type of pizza guy who wants his veggies slightly roasted. These veggies were basically still very crispy once they came out of the oven. If fresh-veggie-taste is your thing (pshhaw), you'll like this place. Oh and the jalapenos, I could've sworn those were just green bell peppers because they added no spice to the pizza at all. The prices, while mostly fair, are still kind of expensive...especially compared to Blaze. To be fair, the meats are better but I can't justify the pricing when I can get essentially the exact same thing (cooked more to my liking) elsewhere. I hate making all these comparisons to Blaze but...well they're within 3 miles of each other and are conceptually identical, so it's bound to happen. Revolve's customer service is commendable and basically bumped this from a 3 to a 4 star (more like a 3.5 star but that's not an option, so rounded up). I met the owner of Revolve, who was happy to explain the pizza-building process as well as give suggestions. He was super friendly and personable, and didn't give me too much of a hard time for being a Blaze regular. While the food didn't necessarily wow me, I'm still more than willing to give it another shot in the future. I'm also comfortable in recommending Revolve to others because 1. There are great toppings (meats) and employees at Revolve and 2. Even though I wasn't the biggest fan, I can understand my pizza-building expectations/tastes may be considered kooky to others. read more

I usually don't go to new restaurants. I give them a few months to sort things out first. However, we wanted pizza and this is right down the street. For a brand new place, I was impressed. Everything ran pretty smoothly. The only problem I saw was the lack of open tables and people standing around after they've placed their orders and gotten their drinks. The food was good. We got the green pasta and the Italian pizza. Both were decent. Mine was a bit bland while my boyfriend's pizza was a bit salty. We still ate most of it, though. The crust was doughy and delicious. The staff was very friendly and didn't seem "new". Overall, I am pleased with the progress they've made in the first few weeks. Went with a friend last night and I have to say it was a great first dining experience. The first person on the line was so friendly and helpful. The person checking us out was a delight as well. Both staff members dealt with my silliness and questions very wonderfully. I love that they have wine on tap! Who knew that was a thing?! I also love that there are as many variations of soda that you can think of, water cups are as big as regular fountain drink cups and that they have three different flavors of olive oil. This place was a little different than what I expected. I was glad for the surprise though! I expected a run of the mill pizza shop just like any other. I walked in greeted by the smell of hot crust and charred wood. It was more than inviting. When we were ordering, I was impressed by all the options of sauces and FRESH toppings. Seriously, it looked like everything was cut the day of. I will say, if you are very hungry, you will have to get a salad or a second pizza. They only have two sizes, kids and regular size (the regular cuts into six small pieces). We paid a decent price. We received one regular pizza with 1 meat and two veggies, two kids meals (one with pasta and one a pepperoni pizza) a soda for my husband and waters for the rest of us, and three of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had for only 23.00. Not too bad. Don't even think about skipping the vinaigrette and olive oil to dip your crusts into! They are some of the best I have had. My husband liked the green chili olive oil, I prefer the original. The customer service was good, they were keeping the tables clean around us and taking away dirty dishes when we were done. It was Oct. 27 about 3:p.m. and my wife was placing a pizza order by phone to go and pick up and bring home for that evening.. We settled on a ten-inch pizza with "garlic glaze" and were unsure about toppings, so we decided to make the second topping "extra cheese." This order was a ten-inch, ten dollar, double-cheese pizza with crispy crust. Is that too much? Once home, we wanted to take the pizza out of the box and move it to a pizza pan to keep warm in our oven. But there was a problem; the pizza was stuck to the cardboard box. I tried using two spatulas to move it. Nope, it was too stuck. I then cut off the end of the box and was able to unstick the pizza enough to slide the soft-crusted pizza to our pizza pan. The pizza looked doughy-- and was, although the bottom had browned spots, probably from the caramelized sugars in the dough, but it was really soft. I was unable to crisp the crust in my oven. And I noticed that I could see through the cheese in some parts of the pizza. We were to find that there was only a small amount of cheese on the thing. The gentleman behind the counter seemed very stressed (there were only two people working) and kept shaking his head like he was mad as he saw the line growing behind us. I come to revolve to purchase their dough sometimes to make pizzas at home with my kids. I've done this countless times the last couple years never had a problem and it's a small charge for the dough. Well today everyone in the building acted as if this was impossible to do and it had never been done before. As if this was some sort of freaking unicorn I was asking for... It was quite rediculous. Finally someone who was apparently in charge but clearly unable respond well to pressure, said fine charge him for the dough as if they were pizzas. They were apparently filling a big order at the time and this "manager" was acting like she was so overwhelmed she was about to lose it. Clearly a poor choice for management but neither here nor there. The employee was completely clueless as well I had to explain to her how to set the dough inside an aluminum container so I could get it home... Seriously So I just paid the rediculous price for the dough to be done with it but if these people don't even know what is going on in their business and the management can't handle filling a big order they should reevaluate. I'm a business owner myself and stay very active in the community so I attend at lot of functions at different restaurants. Treating a customer like I was treated with such complete disregard and as if I was a burden. I had to pay them $25 for pizza dough but because they had a big order to fill it Inwas treated like a problem rather than a customer. It was incredibly poor service and unprofessional.
