I ended up taking my wife here for her birthday because she was craving sushi. Since she was pregnant at the time, her options were a little more limited, and we were specifically looking for a place that offered plenty of cooked sushi options. This spot did not disappoint. They had a great selection of cooked rolls and other items, which made it easy for her to find plenty of things she could enjoy. She absolutely loved it and is already talking about coming back after the baby arrives so she can try some of the other sushi options they offer. And when they say "revolving," they're not kidding. The sushi continuously moves throughout the restaurant, and you simply grab what you want and pay based on the plates you select. It was a fun experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we arrived just before the dinner rush, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. More importantly, my wife enjoyed herself, which was the whole reason for the visit. Let me start by saying we truly have loved dining at Revolving sushi for a long time, till our really negative experience last night. We arrived a hungry family! We are accustomed to the food revolving around the conveyor belt abundantly and love to jump in, pulling our faves off the belt and ordering our apps from the ipad. Well upon arrival at 8pm (their service hours end at 9) there was not a single plate to be found. But, nor was there an ipad. We were directed to a qr code where each person had to use their phone to access the menu for ordering but it was so lengthy because there were items under the all you can eat menu and same items duplicated under the a la carte menu. Now, i despise using phones at a dinner table. I was immediately irritated. No food, no easy ordering, and for the first 40 minutes we were all struggling with our phones to order. Normally, when we pull a plate from the belt, we might share the pieces and so we rarely over order. Each time we have food arrive from the ipad, it alerts us to what we still have coming and what is arriving. Suddenly, 45 minutes into our arrival, food begins to arrive and we realize we all ordered rolls we love but there was no opportunity to collaborate who was ordering what. We had rolls duplicated everywhere and it was a mess. Our dinner experience now was a really irritating one and this very frequent dining family will not return to this location. Please bring back the original system. Until then, we will go to Marietta. read more

Surprisingly, it was busy even on a Sunday night...but luckily, we didn't have to wait for a table. My husband has never seen a robot waiter, and this was his chance. As luck would have it, the robot came to our table while my husband went to the men's room lol! The dining experience is very interactive, so it was a bit hard to take good pictures. Regardless, we enjoyed several choice sushi rolls and nigiri off the conveyor belt, as well as other specialties off the desktop kiosk menu. Of course this wasn't top-rated sushi, but everything was fresh and tasty. The one flaw in this system is this... While the desktop kiosk was cool, it lacked some important details. It was finicky, and hard to control. Once we clicked on the items to order (via train!), it didn't let us double-check for errors...which was problematic. We had to get the waitress to deduct 2 items that we added by mistake (so easy to do!). If you're a first timer here, make sure you check your receipt...as you may be paying for items you didn't intend to order (via train). For this bit of aggravation, I dropped 1 star. Otherwise, my husband thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience, and I, too, enjoyed it even the second time around. read more

They're also very generous on any soft shell crab orders with tons of crab meat too! The rolls on the belt actually have a great filling to rice ratio so really made us feel ayce was worth $30 The server cleared plates often & ordering from the tablet did not take long either The sweet potato tempura took a while but it was so good, it was worth the wait. Crunchy yet soft potato. The tonkatsu had a nice crisp and was a good addition to sushi. Used to love this place and gave it 5 stars when it first opened and have been going frequently ever since. The kids loved the ipads and trains and ordering what they want from that. Today was the first time I noticed some downhill changes - first the ordering ipads are gone which were so helpful in ordering (especially for the kids) and calling for service. Having to use your own phone to order feels like more work especially when there is a whole family to order. I came in for a quick lunch on a rainy day. It wasnt very busy (read: lots of empty tables). During my meal, I noticed that there was a water consistently dripping on my table from above - and also on to the floor next to me. Not very appetizing, so I told the server who was sweet and surprised. She said she went to tell the manager and was told that it is not a leak but just water from the vent above me. Still not appetizing, and if this was a known issue why seat someone at this table when there were many other open tables? The server told me she had asked the manager how she could compensate me, and apparently the manager just suggested offering to move my table. I wasn't very happy with this lack of service both in explanation and lack or apology. All in all not a very comfortable or warm experience especially compared to the past. read more

They really need to improve their cleaning habits. Clean the iPads. Use rubbing alcohol. Clean the plastic food covers so there's not a murky film on them. Use white vinegar or steam clean them. We didn't find the belt sushi to be the best options to go with since they were pretty basic, but being able to order most everything from the menu which is included in the price and have it brought to the table made our night. They have robots that bring items to the table, which is always fun, but you do have a server you can call from the tablet if you have any questions or need anything extra. The servers are great! They gave us the lowdown right off the bat. I was pleasantly surprised to see hand rolls on the menu since most places don't really have that option and we both love a good hand roll. Tucked away off N Main, we decided to meet a school friend for a "sushi play date". We were sat next to a conveyor belt that had the sushi roaming around. Each plate was about $3 and they counted the lids at the end, not the plates. There was a robot cat roaming around that would bring the soy sauce and wasabi and any big plates that came out.
