Okay so idk who to give this review for. There's a taco lady outside of Reyes on Thursday and Fridays that sell tacos, only 4 kind: asada, pollo, pastor abs tica. And let me tell they were amazing. The asada meat was cooked to perfection. Juicy and crispy. The tortilla is hand made and they make it right I. Front of you. The salsa was spicy but nothing too crazy. This is specifically just for taco Tuesday which we opted to try out for the first time. For $1 there are a couple of tacos that you can order. I ordered a chicken and a pork and I was happy with my choice. Compared to other places for tacos on Tuesday I'd say this would be my go to in the future. They do not skimp on the meat like other places. The only downside is no free chips but you can buy a bag of chips since this place is located inside a market which was weird. You order in the back of the market and bring your ticket to the front to pay. On your way up to pay don't forget to grab your drink. The salsa was delicious. Because I love salsa we asked for extra and the gentleman brought us one and another one of avocado salsa which was delicious. Overall would be back for taco Tuesday's in the future. read more

I haven't been here for a couple of years, except a couple of weeks back I dropped in for some marinated asada to Q up, but they didn't have what I was after. I noticed their meat prices are high now; inflation gawd dang! At any rate, I used to come here for a while on taco Tuesdays for some fat little street tacos on the cheap. They were good, but I moved on up to other spots. They have all their meats precooked and chopped into little chunks without many people coming in to clear the inventory. It just seemed like the meat had been sitting around too long before they reheated it. It's in the flavor and the texture. Let me just say it was probably the best torta I've ever had. They had a variety of tortas, and I selected the cheapest one, and to my surprise it was huge and it certainly did not skimp out on the ingredients. I've never experienced a torta with legit jalapeños inside and I really appreciated that. The flavor was spot-on. I always pass by this little market while on Folsom blvd. When I checked their yelp out, I saw that they serve tacos inside and immediately knew i had to check this place out! Upon walking in, you'll notice other businesses located inside like a salon and real estate office . The employees are all very friendly and make you feel welcomed. The hot food area is located all the way in the back . Order there but pay up front. Ok, so maybe i've just been spoiled all my life with great asada, but their asada was nothing special. It didn't even taste like the juicy, well seasoned, and grilled meat that im used to eating at family barbecues. The asada here was bland, hard, and definitely didn't taste grilled. Horrible service! I went in today (with my bf) after being told that the food was great. I ordered my food and waited, they did not ask for my name or give me a number. After waiting for 20 minutes we were asked by another customer if we were waiting for food because there was food at the counter. I went and looked and in fact it was our food. Our food had been sitting there for 10 minutes! Very disappointing that the food was cold and when I informed the cashier she did nothing but apologize. If you're ASIAN be careful, they will intentionally try to SCAM you if you don't pay attention. I went in for some marinated chicken thighs and the guy behind the meat counter grabbed a bag and scooped up some chicken for me. He puts it on the scale and gets a sticker printed out and slaps it on the bag. Then I asked for him to double bag it because I didn't want chicken juice on my hands. So he grabs another bag and puts my bag in it, but then he weighs it again and gets a new sticker and puts it over the 1st one. I was wondering why he did that so I called him out. I opened the bag and took the 2nd sticker off that was put over the 1st one because that was the real weight. The price changed from $10.57 to $12.59. So I started getting load telling him that wasn't cool and I'm not stupid to fall for that shit. The female cashier and other dude behind meat counter tried to cover for this SCAM by saying he charged me the wrong price the first time, but both stickers had the same per pound price. I also noticed he never took his hand off the chicken bag when weighing it the 2nd time, therefore he can push down gently to add additional weight so they give you less meat. A plastic bag doesn't weigh half a pound to add $2 difference in costs. So I'm sure he pushed down to inflate the weight. I wouldn't put it past them to try that cause they tried to scam me for $2 over a plastic bag. So beware if you shop here. I think it's BS and poor business practice. read more

We stopped in here to get some of the taco's we had been hearing so much about. Very tasty, between our family we tried asada taco's chorizo taco's and chicken taco's - all were very tasty.
