New to the building and found that we have this little convenient cafe downstairs. I ordered the Monday special a turkey avocado wrap with chips and a drink. It wasn't a giant jumbo portion but it was reasonable like portions a person should be eating so I was cool with it. The wrap tasted super fresh and lettuce was crisp and everything was just good and refreshing tasting. The others I was having lunch with ordered an Italian sandwich and a ham and turkey and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Such a cute little café right next to my work, which was perfect for a quick lunch break. I ordered the avocado toast and loved the twist they put on it: cream cheese, everything bagel seasoning, hot honey, and a sprinkle of crushed pepper that gave it a little kick. I decided to go to Cafe O' Deli for a warm bowl of chili on a rainy cold Monday. The fall in Cali is not usually cold but due to the rain, I chose something warm. They had a few different soup choices but I chose chili because it's hearty and full of protein. I ordered the half sandwich and soup combo thinking it will be enough for a light lunch. To my surprise, the bowl of chili was amazing! The owner told me that their soup is made fresh daily and not from a can. Wow I can really taste the difference. The chili was full of beans, and ground beef. It was topped with cheese, crackers, and my favorite, Tabasco sauce and boy, it was the perfect combination of tangy spicy and heartiness. I also ordered the hot pastrami sandwich on a baguette bread. Usually baguette breads are hard and too brittle but not the bread here. They did a great job in keeping the bread with perfect softness. I especially enjoyed extra pickles with the right amount of mustard. While the seating area was not crowded because the time was late afternoon, I highly recommend this place. Mediocre sandwich shop, pretty much what you could make on your own at home with 2 mins of effort. Bread from a sterile loaf, meat and cheese from pre-sliced packs, store bought macaroni salad. I would assume the only clientele coming here are those from the business park that are too lazy or forgot to pack a lunch. My new job is hectic and I don't often get a chance to leave and go enjoy my lunch so when it came time to pick a place to eat one day, I was happy to discover that I could walk here and get my lunch. This cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch. They open early and stay open until about 3:30, so there's plenty of time to get breakfast or lunch. I only go for lunch but occasionally I feel like breakfast too. Prices are a bit steep but customer is amazing. Even with a line, they move quick. You can pay with your credit card because they a Square setup. I usually get the deal of the day or a sandwich/soup combo. You can't really go wrong with any choice - I've liked them all. Cute little hole in the wall in the middle of a business park. The store is run by Korean ahjummas, which means "aunty" but refers to middle-aged women. What this means to me is basically everything that you order here comes with that special home made touch. They specialize in sandwiches and soups but have a variety of other things. If you don't know what to order, you can always go with the daily special which is what I tend to do. They deliver too I think but I'm not sure what the requirements for that are. read more

If you read the reviews you might think this place is bi-polar. The food is okay, and I do like the breakfast sandwich. But pretty bland overall. It does seem pricy but not over-priced. Place is usually busy but really no competition nearby. I had a great Korean deli near my last job but this not it. No warm and fuzzies from staff. That is fine but it does affect clientele. Food is sustaining. Nothing stands out. The male owner is the sandwich nazi...like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. He doesn't smile. He's very curt. But what annoys me most is the stinginess. I work next door. Sometimes I take my team there for a quick bite. They have a frequent customer card. You get a stamp for every sandwich purchased (according to the card). On 2 occasions I have purchased multiple sandwiches and only received 1 stamp. When I asked him about it the second time he pushed back at first. Then when I challenged him more he said that he did give me multiple stamps. It was total BS. Another colleague had the same issue with him. Accidentally ordered wrong bread so came back to order an additional slice of squaw bread - which I was then charged $2 for. I work in the area, so I go here from time to time. There's not that many places around (besides the Spectrum, and that can be such a headache sometimes). Just alright - they have the standard stuff. I feel like their customer service could be a little better .... i.e. more friendly/nicer/welcoming. Whenever I go in there I feel awkward... Convenient for walking, however. And they do deliver (however the turnaround time could be shady, so check on how long it would be). I'm also rating down because they tend to microwave a lot of their stuff. I can just bring food into the office and microwave it myself. I don't like how the eggs and bacon/sausage aren't fresh, etc. So, I'd probably stick to the fresher, colder things like salads and sandwiches. read more

I have been coming to Café O'Deli for over seven years and have been pleased with the food and the service. I have introduced numerous friends and colleagues to O' Deli. Today was a very disappointing visit. I had eleven stamps on the "frequent buyer" card (after 12 stamps you receive a free sandwich) and when the gentlemen stamped my card today he stamped on top of a previous stamp. When I pointed it out to him (you could clearly see that he stamped over another one) and he just handed it back to me and said "no". I tried to explain it to him and showed how that was already stamped all but the last one, he kept pushing the card back to me saying "no". Finally, I didn't want to pursue this so I gave my card to another customer and left. So, why hand out frequent buyer cards if you really don't want to honor them? read more
