I agree with Mo and dan on top of that females beware! These guys do not have a damn conscious towards you. They tried to sell me two tires for $89 when they were extremely used. I told him I wasn't about to spend $45 for used tires specially in the condition that they were. I told them to either lower the price or give me a tire that they believed was 35. Specially since where I had just come from did not have my size tire and they recommended them because they said they could do it for around that price not 10 or $15 more. I was looking right at my size tires and I did see the tires that could have been worth less but out of pride they continued to say that they didn't have any worth or out of simply trying to make more profit that was not worth it. If you need to replace your tires and you're on a budget, then look no further! The place itself looks a little dingy but don't let that fool you this place is a hidden gem! I had to get new tires for my jeep but didn't feel like dropping 400+....and buy "didn't feel" I really mean "couldn't afford" anyway came here got a new set plus labor PLUS TIP for under 200 bucks! Brought a tire in with puncture damage less than 1inch to the side wall...person who helped me said it should not be patched or plugged. He offered $48 balanced for a used tire with about 15K miles tread life left. I took it since my tire only would be $180 new. I can always buy another used one from Rey's 1~1.5 years from now. read more

I've been to Rey's 3 or 4 times now for different tire needs. Each time his crew was courteous and friendly. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 30 minutes for them to complete a task, which I really appreciate since I usually have 2 kids under the age of 5 with me. read more

pretty happy with this place. Filling your tire every three days gets old fast, and the tire was bald anyway. my truck has 16 inch wheels, so I went to Rey's tires, because he sells new And used. the installer said he wasn't sure they had my size, so we went into the back to look. right away I noticed that every tire has been cleaned with armor all to make it look good.(whatever) The tire I bought DID have a lot of tread left, and I suspect that at the used tire wholesalers, Rey must choose only the tires he likes, or at least the ones his customers will want to buy. they had one tire left in my size, so I bought it. 75 bucks out the door. it's on the north side of Torrance Boulevard, half a block east of Normandie. it has a tall blue wrought iron fence. buy your tires here! I am the one who like to help mom & dad business, not huge corporation walmart or costco that the owner already Billionaire, even though sometimes they have compelling deal. I want to install 2 tires of my van. I remember this tire store, caused I used to live close to that area. Now I live around LAX so a bit driving, I went there and asked him the price to install and balance 2 tires. He said $30 if I trashed the old myself, $35 if he trashed the old. So I agreed $30, I would trash the old tires myself. Then he did the work, he was very fast and professional. Then it's time to pay apparently I only have $22 cash in my wallet, so I told him to go to atm/store next door to get more cash, he said it's ok, $22 was enough. Even he also trashed the old for free. So 2 thumbs up for this guy.. thanks. So I feel so happy for supporting small business and the same time got amazing deal. read more

I give this place a thumbs up. Honest and true to their service! Used tires are usually a hit or miss kind of thing but this place stands out to be different from other used tire shops. If you are on the budget, then you just found a good place for your money. I got two used Yokohama tires for my family van and its been great, just had to go to a different place to have them balanced which was not a problem for me. Seems like I got a good deal. The tire I was looking for cost about $130 for a decent brand name +$20 installation if I were to buy it new. I had never bought a used tire before so I was hesitant and read up on the amount of tread that is acceptable. You need at LEAST 2/32nd for dry conditions, 6/32nds for snow. They quoted me a price of $55 for Michelin tire plus installation! I was worried about how much life it had left... When I got there they let use use a tread gauge to see how much was left. There were around 8 to 10/32nds left everywhere I measured! This tire is going to be a spare in the back of my Jeep so I felt no need to buy a tire I hope to never use. Tire had been cleaned and looked brand spanking new. They removed the old and installed the new in about 15min. Once inflated they put the tire in soapy water to check for leaks which there were none. (FYI, no refunds on used tires) As long as the tire lasts which I see no reason why not then I am a very happy camper! read more

i've gone to this place twice within a year, Rey is a real honorable man, I have a 2009 Camry SE V6 that sits on LOW PROFILE rims and got the BEST deal from this place, spoke to Vicky (sales lady) and placed the order and less than a week later they had the wheels waiting for me...all 4 were nearly BRAND NEW!!!!! and the service is FAST, reliable, i had a couple valves missing and mister Rey hooked me up!!! I used to like this place, getting good tires for good price. But this time I had all four tires changed with used tires and within a month I had two tire blowouts. The first time I just thought coincidence but second time there is no way, I drive normally and didn't drive on anything bad. On top of that they put the bolts on so tight that when changing the tire, two of the studs had to break and I had to get them fixed. Went to explain what happened but they didn't care. you have to walk in back to get their attention but this kind man gave me some unuseable tires for me to use as planters in my garden. he did not have to do that.
