Reza is my hero. I've been without hot water for a week. The water heater manufacturer was supposed to send me the part to fix it (thermocouple), but they sent the wrong part. Reza was able to use a universal thermocouple, that he just happened to bring, and fix my water heater, even though the manufacturer said there was only a 50% chance it would work without their special part. Ten stars for Reza. Today, on Sunday, my main drain was completely blocked. Could not use any bathrooms or kitchen sink. Just 5 days prior to that Roto Rooter had come and snaked from the toilet downstairs. We were not home 2 days after that. So 3 days after Roto Rooter did the job, we are back to square one. Called Roto Rooter. They said, I'd have to pay their hefty fees again, no warranties on their work. So I went down the list in Yelp and called. Some were nice but didn't work on Sundays. Then I reached RF Drain Cleaning & Sewer. Reza answered the phone. He asked me where the clean out was located and said he could come as soon as he could. I texted the address and he showed up within 45 mins. Reza is very thorough and very sincere. He explained what he saw. He snaked both inside and outside clean outs. No blocks found. Then had me turn on the showers upstairs. Then tried to listen for water flow. It was still blocked. He walked through what could be happening and said, the kitchen line is a direct line and told me to turn on the kitchen faucet. Once i told him that it was blocked as well, he suggested checking out kitchen clean out in the back. Until then, I didn't even know that there was a different clean out for the kitchen. Sure enough, there was enough sludge. He used jet spray, then snaked it. The drain is unblocked but he did encounter some blockage. He told me exactly at how many feet. He didn't have a camera. Gave me detailed instructions on what to ask when I hire someone with a camera. He showed me a couple of roots that came out with the snake. And possibly some wipes. More importantly, because he quoted me only for clearing out the front drain, he didn't charge me for clearing out the kitchen drain. He was extremely reasonable compared to Roto Rooter and other guys. I was impressed by his methodical approach to trouble-shooting. I highly recommend him. I am very impressed with Reza for two reasons: 1. he responded quickly and gave me a very reasonable estimate after asking good questions. He came on time, unclogged my toilet/shower drain in 1 hour including removing the toilet, unclogging and putting and sealing toilet back spotlessly. 2. Same issue occurred 2 weeks later, likely the clog stuff moved down further in the drain but got caught up again (I have a very water saving toilet, a poor choice per Reza). I texted Reza and he came next day. This time he went up to roof and push snake down and again in less than 30 minutes, all opened up (I was doubtful first but he knows his stuff). Unfortunately the snake got caught in the attic pipe. This took Reza 4 more nasty and sweaty hours to get it out. Again he cleaned it up perfectly. I felt bad and wanted to pay him extra. My sink clogged up on Thanksgiving! I couldn't even wash the dishes aghhh! So i waited until Friday to get a plumber out and called a few that said they maybe could be out by 5 PM which was not acceptable; I was going to have company again that day too. So I looked around on yelp and found Reza's listing and even though he had not had too many reviews, the ones he had were good , so I decided to give him a call. I would rather support small local businesses anyway. He answered the phone and promised to be to my house by 11 AM and he arrived promptly when he said he would. He had to work really hard to get this drain unclogged. It was not a simple operation it turned out, because the snake would get in about 15 feet and then stop; something was really stuck hard in there. But he kept at it , working a solid 2 hours, determined he was going to get it done for me and he finally got that pipe cleared out. Then he cleaned up beautifully, leaving no sign that he was even there except a clear drain! And even still his rate was reasonable and fair. AND he guaranteed his work for 90 days; if the kitchen drain backs up again within that time, he will come out and fix it for free. How can you beat that for great customer service? He was friendly, courteous and patient, explaining to me along the way what he was having to do and why. I would call him again in a heartbeat for any plumbing problem and recommend him to anyone who asks.
