Reza was fantastic. He and I corresponded and set a time. I was still out of town but my father met him at the house and he went to work troubleshooting our issue. Turned out that the snake was not the right tool for the job as I had thought, so he was able to hydrojet it instead and clear the line. Worked over two hours on a hot day and charged me for an hour. My previous review was based on over the phone advise from Reza. Today, I had him come out because I was convinced my old garbage disposal REALLY DID meed to be replaced as it had stopped functioning again. Reza went to Home Depot and picked up 2 options of disposals for me. He came to my home, on time, and inspected. He tinkered a bit and was able to get it running. He then showed me some VERY SIMPLE maintenance that I did not have any clue about so that I could fix the issue on my own. The plumber has come within ~2 hours after I contacted him, exactly at the earliest time he promised. I did "shop around" and Reza offered to fix the problem at the lowest cost compared to 4 other plumbing services. He did his job very well, with additional small diagnostic/assessment work beyond the task he's been paid for. He didn't reply to my online request for a quote, because he is the only one running his small business and was busy with customers on the day of my online request. So, it's better to CALL. In addition, no other business has actually provided a quote, but only invited to schedule a visit, with some of them asking for $150+ for just coming a providing an estimate. So I'm washing dishes and I see the water start to elevate from the sink. Oh no biggie, it'll go down eventually. I continue to scrub and rinse and the water level kept getting higher! My sink was half way full of dirty water. Not a great feeling at all. I tried un-clogging it myself with some chopsticks but that didn't work.. I had enough so I had to call a plumber and that's when I met Reza. He is soft spoken with alot of respect. His skills and competent level speak for themselves. Why is it that things often happen in "threes?" Maybe my run of misfortune is now over and I'll win the lottery! My bathtub/shower decided to it would empty at the speed of molasses in January; then my kitchen sink decided to backup; finally the dishwasher and garbage disposal joined in the fracas and needed to say...I spent a big part of my day mopping up the kitchen. I called my home warranty company and the had a plumber come out. Unfortunately, he couldn't do much as there is no cleanup installed (this house is 64 years old). Now he could have gotten up on the roof and snaked the line from the ventilation pipe.. but, the home warranty company won't pay for that. Holy crap - what good is the warranty problem if they can't or won't fix the problems. The plumber left after taking my check for the deductible. I called their office the next day to see what could be done. We talked and the young lady told me that they used to have someone who would go up on the roof.. but, he doesn't work for them any longer (nice). However, she would call someone higher up on the food chain and get right back to me with a price to fix the problem. Needless-to-say, I'm still waiting for her return call. OK - now comes the better part of this review. I called Persia Drain Cleaning and Plumbing and spoke with the owner, Reza. I actually found him on Yelp and I am so thankful that I did. I connected with him at around 11:15am and he was at my door in a very short 20 minutes. He assessed the situation and proceeded to remove the pipe from the sink to the soil pipe and snaked that s.o.b. till it ran without any restriction or backup. Reza was punctual, professional and very competitive with his pricing. He even offered me a hefty discount on his fee plus a 90-day warranty on his work! Now, how much better can it get? If you're not using Reza you're really missing a rare opportunity to work with someone who clearly knows his craft, his limitations, is a genuinely nice person, professional and responsive. Reza was very accommodating and affordable. We had a backed up main line on a Sunday. After calling him to get prices and availability we were lucky to be able to get him to come a few hours later. Since we didn't have a clean out, he took out the toilet and ran the rooter that way. After spending an hour with no luck, we went into the crawl space to make sure we had the closest toilet to the city line which we did. On the next try, we got it! Reza reinstalled and caulked the toilet. He cleaned up and left everything as it was. He also cleaned out one of our backed up sinks that always drained slow. He was very polite and did not look frustrated throughout the process even though it is a very frustrating situation. Very happy with RF Drain and Reza. Reza was able to come out about 90 minutes after I called. We had a plug in our drain lines affecting the whole house. Due to our long run from the house to the street sewer, there was a concern there might be a problem there. He suspected the problem was probably in the house so he suggested we try rooting the house first, and that took care of the problem. He also made some suggestions for long term problem avoidance. We woke up to a water backing up in the kitchen sink. I called Reza and left a message. He was back in touch within 30 minutes and was at our house within 2 hours. I really appreciate the approach and work Reza did in addressing our sink clog. Suddenly needing to find a Plumber can be a maze of confusion. Who do you call? Will they response? Our they legit? Etc, etc... I reached out on Yelp, some responded, some didn't. The 1st two we had out at the house, didn't give a good vibe. They seem to be working for the owner and would get a cut based on the final cost. They started at worse case scenario. Reza came out and while I was not there met with my wife. I just had Reza come out to clear a clogged main sewer line and he came within 2 hours of the call (on a Sunday) and arrived right in the middle of the time range he estimated. He snaked the sewer twice and then did the hydro cleaning. While the sewer is running better, it is not good. Reza said that the pipe seems to be damaged. He could not use his camera as the pipe was full of water. He then suggested trenchless sewer replacement, since our house is over 70 years old and we do not want to dig up the landscaping. He suggested a couple of companies that do that and recommended one. I still have to get quotes... Reza was very easy to talk to, reasonably priced, and was right on time! I'd highly recommend him over the people from the "big" companies that we have used in the past. read more
