Went back tonight with my wife for our 24th anniversary. It was even better than we remembered from the last time. We got there at 5:46 (open at 5) and had an amazing meal. We asked for medium temperature, and all meats were cooked to perfection. Fantastic seasoning, not salty at all, and it just kept coming until we were ready to burst. We had to ensure there was room for the amazing grilled pineapple and cinnamon with vanilla ice cream dessert. Amazing. Servers were both fantastic and very attentive. Ordered Ribeye... got a hunk of meat that was most definitely NOT ribeye. Ribeye is known for it's ribbon of fat through the meat which makes it extra tender and juicy. There wasn't a single bit of fat on the entire piece of meat. Meat was tough and chewy and needed a chainsaw to cut through it . The mashed potatoes had very little flavor at all. read more

Came in for the all you can eat option and the one thing that I will say stuck with me was how over salted and dry the meat was. I could cook a more delicious steak that is actually the medium rare I desire back at home and is not over salted to the moon. If you desire meats that are more salt than sea and drier than a burnt piece of wood then this is the restaurant for you. The reason it is not one star is due to the acceptable service. read more

We were at RGS Steakhouse last night for my hubby's birthday, and are so glad that we finally made it there after passing by all this time. We had purchased a Groupon because we wanted to give it a try based on the Yelp reviews. It has a nice clean open feel and there are two sides to the restaurant. I am normally going to steakhouses for the salad bar, but that's just me, LOL. We were seated immediately and the owner explained the set up to us and took our drink orders. Off we went to the salad bar, which didn't have as many options as the other steakhouses, but it was fine. I guess most people are there for the table served meats, so they don't need much at the salad bar. They also brought out some mini cheese biscuits and bread with a creamy cheese sauce which was awesome! The guys started coming around to the tables with the sirloin steak, bacon wrapped chicken & steak, flank steak, sausage and parmesan pork. I think I saw the chicken legs at another table, but they didn't come to our table with them. I totally forgot to get the chimichurri sauce at the salad bar, which would have made everything even better. Our son was there just for the sausage and anything wrapped in bacon. We ended the meal with ice cream, creme brulee, and the tres leches cake. The service was outstanding with the staff being so friendly and attentive. The owner and his wife went around to all the tables checking to make sure everything was okay. We will definitely be back soon. read more

A must visit place! The meats are perfectly seasoned and they make sure to give you the perfect slice. A very nice spread of cold sides, rice and beans and cheese bread. What really made this place special is the service. The owner is actively coming around with fresh meats. The waitress was great. She never made a suero before and nailed it on her first try... I even ordered two! She also introduced my husbands favorite of the guarana with a simple lemon and wow did that make a difference. Can't believe we've gone so long without the lemon. Only con about this place is that there isn't this exact one in New York / New Jersey. Highly recommend 10/10. read more

I had a few expectations based of the style of restaurant as we have eaten at many Brazilian style restaurants all over the country. I was totally blown away by how good absolutely everything tasted (not one of the meats or salads didn't taste devine). It takes a lot for me to say RGS is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in my life. I have eaten at many 3 Michelin star and 5 diamond restaurants around the globe and RGS's food was better. Obviously, it didn't have all the pomp and circumstance of those restaurants but the food was actually better. It was just amazing food, great service, and despite being busy it was like we were the center of attention. The food had real flavor and didn't need tons of over salting to make the food delicious. Texas de Brazil, Ruth Chris, and Mortons could learn a lot from the chef here about imparting flavor without gallons of salt. read more

It definitely has a family/local feel where the owner stood behind the bar and talked with the locals who came in for a weeknight drink. It was a slower night but the all you could eat meat was flowing with prompt service and many different meat choices. The meat sweats, the tasty fruity cocktails, and great service, I was impressed. I loved the rotating meats, the cuts and variety. Even though they didn't have the really adventurous meats (chicken hearts- one of my favorites) they had all the staples and they were perfectly executed. They laughed when I said I wanted the meat rare and mooing but they gave me all the rarest cuts, which was fantastic. I had the passionfruit cocktail was to die for and I wish I had enough room for the strawberry one too!! They were efficient, the buffet was smaller than some other brazilian steakhouses but very clean and tasty. I loved the small fillet I think it was called, but honestly every piece of beef was to die for. The lamb was probably my least favorite but I think it was because it was the least rare for me. We didn't try the sausage or chicken (I try not to waste my belly on those) since i'm a 5 ft tall carnivore. Loved this place, would recommend to anyone whose a meat eater. My husband was there for work and went back and took his boss and they had a very similar experience. During the week I believe they have 10 dollar off special as well for dinner, so check that out! They also have happy hour where we got their signature drink for 1/2 off so 5 bucks for a delicioussss cocktail! read more

I loved the shrimp and my kids loved the bread. My son enjoyed the rice and beans. The meat was very good. My daughter liked the sausage, and my son loved all the meat.
