The food was amazing. The banchan was fresh and the kimchi was spectacular also the fish cake. The meats are great and they have such great options. The corn cheese was amazing and came in the cutest plate. I enjoyed the tofu soup as well. Usually at other places the soup isn't tasty, but here it's crazy good. The soup also has meat in it too and isn't salty. The food overall was amazing especially for the first time. The servers were all incredibly helpful and nice. The owner as well was so nice and welcoming and always was checking to make sure we were eating good and enjoyed her restaurant. We got ourselves on the Yelp wait list, which had a 15 minute wait and we drove over, arriving just in time to be seated. We opted for the $29.99 menu and sadly, only had enough room for one round. You can order up to 4 meats at one time, so we got beef brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and marinated beef belly steak. We also got corn cheese and steamed egg. Food came quickly and was so good! We took a while working through our 4 plates of meat plus banchan, egg, and corn cheese. During that entire time, without us prompting, they asked several times if we wanted to put in another round of meat or another order of sides. With the many other KBBQ options in Rowland Heights, I'd recommend one of those instead. They're very slow with bringing out the meat (we weren't even remotely full after an hour in) and the meat itself isn't high quality -- a lot of the steak had too much tendons and were pretty rough to chew. And the floor was weirdly slippery for some reason. They also don't have a variety of ice cream flavors like other places so I'd just recommend somewhere else. read more

Parking was still full but there were available spaces. We were seated right away. This was on a weekend. Hillary was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The iron steak has to be the best of the bunch. The portions are actually a bit big which is good or bad depending on your group size. You can always do half portions.
