I usually come here when I crave Kkb but I have to look for another place. The meat selection is fine. Unfortunately, the service sucks, they did not serve the food we ordered and forgot the other items when the group after us got it. We asked for water and he said "okay" but I see him getting an order for someone who just got seated. I had to wave him down to remind him water please. After watching a movie at AMC Puente Hills, friend and I were craving Korean BBQ. We got ourselves on the Yelp wait list, which had a 15 minute wait and we drove over, arriving just in time to be seated. We opted for the $29.99 menu and sadly, only had enough room for one round. You can order up to 4 meats at one time, so we got beef brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and marinated beef belly steak. We also got corn cheese and steamed egg. Food came quickly and was so good! We took a while working through our 4 plates of meat plus banchan, egg, and corn cheese. During that entire time, without us prompting, they asked several times if we wanted to put in another round of meat or another order of sides. With the many other KBBQ options in Rowland Heights, I'd recommend one of those instead. They're very slow with bringing out the meat (we weren't even remotely full after an hour in) and the meat itself isn't high quality -- a lot of the steak had too much tendons and were pretty rough to chew. And the floor was weirdly slippery for some reason. They also don't have a variety of ice cream flavors like other places so I'd just recommend somewhere else. read more

The service was good in the morning. One of the server saw that our pork belly had too much fat and she was kind enough to remove it and offer another set. For the price and the food selection, I think this is worth it to eat if you wanna save and want decent variety. I wouldn't necessary go out of the way for it but if you're nearby, why not! I highly suggest the RH BBQ #2 which got nothing to do with this one. It has the same name RH BBQ but with different number and different address. We originally planned to eat at RH BBQ 2 but there was no parking available and the wait was too long. So we Yelped KBBQ's in the area and found this gem. Parking was still full but there were available spaces. We were seated right away. This was on a weekend. Hillary was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food quality was consistently good (went with the RH Plus menu). The only lackluster meat we got was the bulgogi and chicken. All of the others were great. The iron steak has to be the best of the bunch. The portions are actually a bit big which is good or bad depending on your group size. You can always do half portions. The highlight would have to be the service here. The staff was very attentive and readily available. Wait times between the orders wasn't an issue. Shout-out to Esther for being on top of everything. Meat quality is great at RH. RH BBQ 2 got bought out and has really bad quality now. RH BBQ (this one) is the one still under the original owners of both. Service is 10/10. Attentive and you don't have to wait long until someone helps you out. Multiple requests in a short timeframe are always handled graciously and with a smile. Non of the meat were chewy, which leads me to assume they are probably of higher quality. The menu is also pretty limited compared to other k bbq places.
