It's too bad I've spent six figures at this company. Overall, the quality is poor. From rugs wearing quickly, to furniture shedding like a dog, to missing hardware, to lighting dying early and more, avoid this place like the Plague. The salespeople have been nice, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality of nearly everything they sell. Don't let the glamorous showroom fool you. I do know someone on the inside, and all they do is slap their name on sh*t furniture and up-charge you. This place sucks. P.S. Their lighting products are absolute SH*T!!! While visiting Denver we stopped here as we normally do while traveling. We tend to visit the RH stores and outlets just to check out things. This store is bigger than our local Portland storm however the layout of most RH stores are quite the same. The differences are in size, which will determine how much is on display. And checking out the furniture is why we are there. It's pretty hard to buy expensive furniture without seeing or touching it. Overall the staff is great! We met one of the Associate Leaders, Msurtor-Agbidye. She was one of the most pleasant and nicest people in the store. She made me want to make Denver my home store. During my entire visit 99% of the team was great! One of the team members rudely interrupted us while talking about a sofa, however designer we were talking with quickly recovered and apologized for the behavior. Kindergarten rules of life, please, excuse me and thank you must apply especially at this level of sales. Overall it's a great store to check out. Go touch, sit and play on some exceptional furniture. read more

I've been to this store 3 times in the past couple of months. I never had an experience with sales associates being snooty as others mentioned. It is not the sales associates I have issue with , though it was hard to find someone to help me once (might have been too few associates on duty at that time). Here is my complaint: It is ridiculous that the store does not have samples of many things they show online and no real examples of some of the finishes. Went in to view a sofa table/console I have been looking at for a few months. They do not have a sample of it in the store because it is "new". I first saw it online 4 months ago. I would hardly call that new. Also, they did not have a single piece of furniture with the marble color I was interested in; only had a small sample even though there are many, many versions of the table in the store (various sizes and shapes). None had a top showing the 1 of the 4 marble choices I was interested in. Since you cannot buy and take home anything home RH stores, I should note that if the item you want is not in stock, it can be months until you will get it. I have been waiting for 2 lamps for over 2 months. Also, I would think twice about ordering any wood furniture from them. Super stylish but poor construction quality in my opinion. A lot of the furniture is made in China/Thailand, etc and you can find it on Alibaba way cheaper. read more

There's so much to look at here, I believe there's 4 floors of exquisite furniture to look at. A huge location with tons of product and multiple floors. Entrances are both inside and outside the mall, so you can easily access this store if you're not there for the mall itself. We stopped in cause we love their designs and furniture. It's definitely a lot to look at. We passed probably four associates and not even one said hi or asked if we needed anything. They all looked like they were working on computers or tablets and not paying much attention to in store customers. The layout is almost too massive. It's spread out in late rooms with an almost warehouse feel, kinda like a home reno store. After the third floor we opted to head on to other shops. It was much the same offerings of some of their smaller locations. I did enjoy the hardware showcase area down by the showers space. Overall: B- Massive shop with a spread layout. Horrible costumer service. Me and my friends were in town a few months ago and I wanted to show them the store because I had a wonderful experience at the one in Salt Lake. This experience however was horrible, everything was going fine until an employee stopped us and asked to see our IDs because we "looked" too young to be in the store. We were just browsing the store and she randomly stopped us. After showing our IDs she told us to show her a credit card to prove that we could even buy anything. After showing her our cards she told us we had ten minutes to look around before she would call to have us escorted out. What did we do wrong, why were we targeted? I ordered knobs and pulls for my kitchen remodel. The screws sent with the knobs were fine, but they sent unusable short screws for all the pulls. I had to run out to Home Depot before my installer arrived to get proper screws. For the price you should get proper screws. read more

The woman I talked to spoke to him and he said he had received my emails. He basically " ghosted" me. I never heard from him again. Went into store again and received awesome service from Brandon. When I saw this new location being built I was rather excited about the prospect of being able to shop RH's full collection, as I used to frequent the old, far 'cozier' location. As others have mentioned, it is floor after floor of beautifully styled spaces and no sales associates. I saw one scurrying around with her face buried in an iPad at one point, but I wasn't acknowledged whatsoever. Another thing I noticed was that all the surfaces were covered in a thick layer of dust. We're talking weeks of dust. We opened an armoire and were showered with giant falling dust bunnies that clung to my coat; I was picking them off on the drive home. Gross. Someone before us had clearly noticed this as well, as a sideboard featured a 'swipe' across the top of it (see photo) that rather resembled some of the contemporary art for sale. I'm sorry, but if I'm contemplating spending several thousand dollars on a piece of furniture, the least you could do is arm one of your sales associates (if there actually are any working there) with a cloth and a can of Pledge. As much as I love RH, particularly their modern collection, the level of service (that is, no service) and attention to detail is worse than their outlet store. I felt as if I were in an episode of the Twilight Zone, where a beautiful stately home is populated by invisible servants - who apparently don't enjoy dusting. read more

Restoration Hardware has some really nice things but a few observations: -Store is huge..:too big actually...almost exhausting walking though the place. 4-5 floors? I feel like I'm in a mansion. -Furniture is very large. Seems like many pieces are simply huge. In an era when many homes are getting smaller, the size of the furniture seems impractical. -Yellow lighting throughtout the store. Gives it that Adams Family vibes. Seems like all the furniture is grey, black or white. I feel colorblind in this store. Overall, I didn't feel like this place was warm and welcoming due to the lighting and enormity of the place. The attention to detail that went into designing this space is spectacular. This is the new four story RH flagship store attached to the Cherry Creek Mall. The major attraction of this store is definitely the fourth floor rooftop patio with both indoor and outdoor areas filled with gorgeous outdoor furniture and décor. The unobstructed mountain views are breathtaking as well as the gorgeous views of Cherry Creek North. The third floor is dedicated to infants, toddlers, pre-teens and teens. I would keep the kids away unless you want them pointing to everything and saying "I want that". Keep a tight grip on those wallets. The second floor has a wonderful variety of vanities and fixtures for the bathroom. RH has a creative way of displaying all the fixtures - I will let everyone enjoy that in person. The first floor is dedicated to the living space in every home, the living and dining rooms. Truly some gorgeous configurations with all the options you could ever dream of. Come in and build your dream home. Don't miss the shimmering chandeliers that adorn the winding staircase - it's a show stopper. RH has imagined an impressive space and is a go to spot when in the area. I can't wait to see what they do for the Holiday's. read more

I'm not really sure what else to give other than three stars because the showroom was fantastic but the "service" was literally, I mean literally, nowhere to be found. I take that back, ONE person on all four floors was around and even said hello. If I had the gumption I would've gone back to the 4th floor just to get his help with a dining set I really wanted on the first floor. Honestly, I got so sick of waiting for all of the one other staff I could even find, we just grabbed their catalogue and left. We had a great time looking around and finding things to get for the house (knowing they are more decorative) but thank God for cell phone cameras, we helped ourselves to some pictures of the tags of what we liked and left to buy it online. I'll be damned if I wait around for an insane amount of time to purchase something I want, don't really need, just to buy a dining set for like $3500 made in China set. It wasn't worth it, which is unfortunate because it would've been a great addition for our formal dining room. A room we don't really use but wanted to purchase something we wanted. Frustrating to find lots of things I 100% wanted to buy, but couldn't because staff is non existent. read more

I have walked through this new store 4 different times with my family and didn't even receive a "hello" or any kind of acknowledgement. I have even popped in a couple of other times myself and still nothing. I will take my business back to Colorado Style home Furnishings and Arhaus for now on as they give me great service. I may still buy some RH lighting via the website instead of dealing with no service. And retail stores wonder why brick and mortar stores are losing ground to the likes of Amazon. Start hiring and training your staff to welcome every single person that walks through the door and provide excellent "quality" service and may just increase your sales. read more

Not sure who does the interviewing at this location or if there even is an interview process at all. The staff here is a disgrace. I have furnished many areas of my home with pieces from the Scottsdale location but will never purchase anything for my Denver home due to these employees. This store location is a joke and seriously needs a revamp on the staff they choose to work for. I was in the store for half a hour and no one spoke to or greeted myself or my friends. When they did is was to only pick their heads up from their iPads and ear pieces and to say something completely condescending, making fun of another furniture store Zgallerie. In addition I was asked multiple questions from other customers being mistaken for an employee. When I said I was not one those fellow customers said they had not seen any employees around either. First time customer or MEMBER this was a horrid experience that surely and quite unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

As I do not go to Cherry Creek mall very often, I noticed this place. I wasnt sure what I was walking into at first. Is this a store? is this a place where they hold parties and events? As this place was totally open with only a few people walking around, my curiosity got the better of me and I went exploring. As I was venturing the floors, it dawned on me that this is a type of furniture showroom for people that just have too much money and dont know what to do with it anymore. I do have to give the team of people who designed this place 5 stars since the visual aspect is very stunning. Chandeliers must have been the key focal point since they were everywhere, and I mean everywhere! even in the outdoor patio, which by the way gives you wonderful views of downtown Cherry Creek. Ascend the staircase and you are placed in a narcissists fantasy wonderland as there are hundreds of mirrors of all shapes and sizes all along the wall. Many people I observed throughout my visit were very casual and nonchalant, sitting in chairs, laying in beds, acting as if this was their own home, as there was maybe one employee per floor that didnt even make any effort to interact with them or me. If I could give it a -10 star I would. The only thing I can say is "CRAP, CRAP, CRAP MADE IN CHINA". A high end store of B.S. if your into crappy fixtures and cheap furniture then this is your place. Not to mention my credit card number was given over the phone and the next day I had fraudulent charges being charged on my bank card. We got our delivery of items to find them opened and repackaged by what they call there inspection to make sure items were not damaged from "China". That was the first red flag, when a retail store has to inspect there merchandise. Upon opening the re-taped boxes they had the courtesy to attach a post it saying the sink was scratched how thoughtful of them. Why even deliver it. We also received vanity's that were expensive, yet unwrapped and shipped in blankets as if we were moving by a moving company and were beat up and cracked. They were definitely show room pieces thats why they had to open them. We also purchased a chandelier that was priced way more than it should of been, to find out it had been previously returned to RH the idiots forgot to remove the return slip smart move. We have nothing but "MADE IN CHINA" crap that we are supposed to be installing in a $6.4 million dollar home. Restoration Hardware sells nothing but low end merchandise and is a big scam for high buyers. This may offend some of you, but not everyone was meant to shop at Restoration Hardware. While the doors are open to all, it may not be the right fit for some... With that said, their furniture is gorgeous. Their bedding is amazing. And their bath towels are second to none!! It takes a lil patience and a time investment to step in and get what you need. Once you do have a sales rep they are very accommodating and helpful. No one works on commission so there's no up selling or high pressure sales. This place isn't cheap and you must be prepared to spend some money. Often the case is if you have to ask the price then you may not be able to afford to shop at RH. I know this all sounds so elitist and snooty. Fair enough, I can take it. Not everyone should shop at the Bentley dealer when they are looking for a Honda. So save yourself the trouble if you're not looking for a higher end shopping establishment. They do offer a few bed/bath sales and sell the bedding and towels at 20% off. This makes those purchases more manageable and there's really nothing better then the plush feel of a RH towel after a nice shower. I have been a happy customer of RH for many years and will continue to shop even if I have to wait a bit longer knowing the products I receive will be top notch. read more

Not one sales person offered to help me when I was in here tonight. Therefore, I couldn't ask them why in the world the simple soap dish I was interested in cost $36. Then, when I was returning from the mall to walk out to my car, one of the women was closing their doors. I asked her if I could walk through to get out of the mall. She responded, "We already locked the back door." It was ten till 9pm and I'm pretty sure they don't close at that odd time, so annoyed I was. I had a list of three items I was looking for tonight and found success with none of them at Restoration Hardware. Maybe sticking with their online shopping is the way to go? There is hope. Yes, even after savaging Restoration Hardware in my first review, I went back. Why? It's those damn towels - they're still the best. So, knowing that i probably would not be able to walk out the door with a set of the towels I wanted I was prepared to order them at the store to avoid the shipping costs incurred when you order from their website. The gal who helped me was pleasant and eureka(!) they had what I wanted in stock. She asked me if I was familiar with their "Friends and Family" program which I was not. At that point she handed me a card which stated that the program (basically open to all friends, friends of friends, family, non-relatives and any Joe who came in off the street) includes a 20% discount on everything purchased at the store over a four day period. I then realized that this 'sale" started the following day. "Do I need to wait, and come back tomorrow to receive the 20% off?" I asked. "Of course not," she replied, I'm happy to give you 20% off your purchase today - AND, please come back before the sale ends to take advantage to the great deal." Well done, you've almost redeemed yourself, Restoration Hardware. Now if you'd just turn on some lights so that you can actually see what you're buying - and get rid of the Indiana Jones motif, you'll deserve another star. read more

We walked in the door and I immediately felt out of place, like I wandered into a secret store reserved for only for super stylish rich folks, though the staff quickly greeted us and made us feel at home. This new flagship version of Restoration Hardware features 4 floors of rooms, fully furnished, featuring all the great RH products. They varied from the impressive to the truly extravagant, and it was so much fun to wander through & dream up how we would love to have all this stuff at home. There is a lack of price tags (intentional?) which made us think "if you have to ask you can't afford it," so that was my only complaint. Still, I love the space and how creative this new store is. If you visit, you must make the trip up to the 4th floor rooftop patio. Not only are th RH designs for outdoor living simply incredible, but the views of Cherry Creek and the city are amazing. They could serve cocktails up there and it would be the poshest rooftop bar in town. Truly a fun place and a great experience, though I don't know how much I'll be buying from there. read more

I came in here because we have just bought a new house and with a lot of new square footage to fill, I wanted to come scope out my options. Restoration Hardware is pricey, but I love their stuff and would be willing to splurge on something worthwhile. As I was investigating the furniture, I came across a dining table that had all the appearance of solid wood, but a small chip on the side revealed the particleboard underneath. It was indeed laminate. Incredibly convincing laminate, complete with all the grooves and imperfections of solid wood, but laminate nevertheless. I'm definitely not interested in splurging on laminate furniture. Some of their drawer units also had drawers that had issues closing. In terms of true quality and functionality, I felt there was a lot to be desired. Also, one of the salesmen condescendingly suggested to me that I might be interested in RH Teen rather than their regular products. I have a fairly young appearance, but given that I am a year shy of 30, I am convinced it is not THAT young and he was just being a *%^$. read more

Half of my townhouse is decorated with RH furniture. The furniture is good quality, you are paying an upgraded price but there is nothing like it. If you aren't satisfied with a piece they will deliver you a new one. The flagship store in Cherry Creek has some of the best views in Denver, I highly recommend taking a walk to the top floor. I was so excited to get my restoration Hardware Christmas catalogue. Ear marked many items I wanted to buy for the house and for holiday presents. Couldn't wait to see the new RH store in Cherry Creek. Went in to buy my items, but NO, you can't do that! I find out it isn't a store. It's a "gallery." They don't even have the Holiday items in the store to see. Remember all the fun and kitschy items and gag gifts you used to be able to get. NO MORE IF you want to order from the "gallery," you won't have to pay shipping. IF you order form the catalogue direct, you have to PAY for shipping. I decided to order my items at the "gallery" anyway. A store clerk said she would help me when she was done. She had someone ordering furniture. She called an associate on the headset to come help me. I sat and waited. No one came. I waited a bit more. She finished with the woman she was helping and didn't offer to help me. Seems they are catering to a different crowd with this mega-store/Gallery. I can't tell you how DISSAPPOINTED I am in the NEW RH Cherry Creek. If you want a beautiful furniture showroom, go take a look. If you want to buy something, don't bother. You can't even get a robe there, let alone a holiday gift. For compiling modern reproductions, this is mainstream enough to satisfy the person that wants a predictable piece that they can order precise quantities and never worry about it fitting modern homes. It does not restore hardware in any compelling fashion that drives most restoration buffs to the salvage yards for the unique piece, but it does supply period inspired basics. I recommend contacting architectural salvage stores as well as some antique stores such as Architectural Salvage, Inc as their proprietors can often find what you need in the quantities that you need them to better effect. Parking is abundant. Salesperson knowledge of period styles is hit and miss. TIP: look at their online catalog first, then do an online search for similar items and browse for deals. read more

BEWARE their "membership" deal. they auto-renew you for $100 every year, and you CANNOT disable this renewal without spending 30 minutes on the phone with them. i thought i had disabled my account online, by deleting my credit card, well before the deadline, but "somehow the system didn't take it, sir". they charged me, and would never have let me know unless i had called them. and who wants to spend $100 every year when they've already bought their sofa? avoid. read more

My review is not about the quality of the furniture. My review is about the nature of customer service and the bold face lies being said by their front of house service coordinators. I purchased baby furniture (a crib, dresser/changing table and bookcase) to be delivered to my home. I've had delivery issues with RH in the past so I made several follow up calls to ensure that the furniture was indeed being delivered on time. I even placed a phone call to the actual warehouse that was to deliver my furniture and spoke with a woman named Cindy who told me that she personally went into the warehouse and saw all of the furniture was there. This morning my furniture was delivered as per confirmed and they brought along Chelsea from RH to oversee the delivery. One of the pieces of furniture was not on the truck (the dresser/changing table). Chelsea made phone calls to try and get a handle on the situation and reported that the furniture piece was not even in Denver - let alone the warehouse. Now, I was told from Cindy, at the warehouse, that she personally saw all of the furniture from my order in their warehouse. I mentioned this to Chelsea and it was obvious that Cindy was either mistaken or lied to me. Chelsea said that Cindy thought the bookcase was the missing dresser/changing table. Chelsea mentioned that Cindy was made aware of the situation and was being "talked to" about it. At this point in time -there has been no resolution. The furniture is not here and the customer service rep who accompanied the delivery has no answers for when it will be arriving. I had made no less than five phone calls to follow up with my order over the last several weeks and my due diligence was not replicated by the company. The icing on the cake and the fuel for my review was when I received a phone call from Cindy herself asking me how the delivery went. I informed her that while the gentlemen who delivered the furniture did a fine job I was angry with her for telling me all of my furniture was there when it was indeed not. Rather than apologize, she proceeded to lie to me and said that she never told me that all of the pieces were there. And that the three pieces she meant were the bookcase, crib headboard and footboard. This is where I lost it. Lies and coverups. No one taking ownership and putting the blame on others, including myself - the very pregnant customer who had the foresight to make several calls to see that RH employees are doing their job. However, even my efforts which are above and beyond what anyone who's spending thousands of dollars on furniture did not result in the furniture being here. Had someone owned up - apologized for their mistake and offered a solution with a date - I would not have written this review. I do not believe in bashing companies, but RH has insulted my intelligence and my desire to ever purchase another item from that company again. read more

I ordered two of the French Column Glass Floor Lamp. The first one I opened had both CF bulbs broken with glass and mercury contaminating me, my dining room, and the lamps. Customer service was completely unhelpful. The first cs representative told me they were incandescent bulbs as that is what her computer showed. I spoke to a supervisor who offered to replace the CF bulbs. They told me to box the items up and UPS would pick them up. What a completely wrong way to deal with the contamination they caused. After spending the last two hours cleaning up I will never order or go to Restoration Hardware. read more
