Fried Chicken Sandwich and loaded potato soup
Todd S.

Fast service, easy parking, and good food! I came here with my mom for the lunch menu and was very impressed. My mom got the strawberry and chicken salad with a French onion soup, and I got the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with loaded potato soup. My sandwich was HUGE and the flavor was great! The lunch specials range from $10-12 and included an entree and choice of soup or salad. We sat at the bar and the service was quick and friendly. We sipped on the house margarita and I really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a good lunch spot don't skip on Longhorn

Next time I have to remember 'bbq sauce on the side.'

I'm not too proud to admit that my tastes have turned plebeian in my old age. There, I've said it: I like LongHorn! Here's why: -- dinner salads are big with a lot of components, none of which is cheapie iceberg lettuce. -- without looking at the menu, my go-to dish is a half rack of ribs. Tonight I lived in the fast lane ordering a LOADED potato. The skins are always crisp -- a big plus -- and salted. It's a meal unto itself. And the ribs are tender and meaty. -- the menu is well-priced. Everyone appreciates an affordable evening out. We even reaped a 10% discount because of T's military service. If you're hungry and deterred by a potential half hour wait, don't leave. It never takes as long as the hostess projects.

The food, service and ambiance is always good. Yes, you will need to wait but it is always worth it! Meat falls off the bone and full of flavor every time!

LongHorn Steak House 7-9-25 Stopped for my Birthday lunch about 2:30pm on a Wednesday. Place was not full, we got seated right away. Place was neat and clean everything was in order. Our Waiter Nicholas was on the ball with our drink and food orders. He answered any questions we had as we have never been there before. For the Appetizer I ordered the Shrimp and Lobster Chowder for the both of us. For my main course I ordered the 20oz Outlaw Ribeye Med Well with Mashed Potatoes and a Salad. My wife ordered the 6oz Filet Mignon Med with a Salad. Our friend ordered the appetizer 8 Wings. Nicholas brought out a small loaf of Bread to get us started. Afterwards he delivered our Salads which looked great. Everything on that Salad tasted fresh and they were cold which I loved. Our Soup was delivered next. The Soup was hot, and it was ok but did not have a lot of shrimp or Lobster in it as I thought it should. We asked for Crackers, but they did not carry any because of packaging. We finished our Soup and Salads our main course came out. My Steak looked amazing, and it was. The cook on it was perfect, this steak had a ton of flavor. It was hot and tasty and not a lot of fat on it. My Mashed Potatoes were ok. My wife's Filet was done perfect, just like she wanted it. She forgot to order a Sweet Potato for a side. She asks Nicholas if that would be a problem to get one, he stated I will get you one right away. Before she was done eating her Filet he brought one out. Now that exceptional service. Nicholas was so polite, and he really cared about the people he was serving. He checked on us a bunch of times but wasn't pesky at all. Since it was my birthday, he brought out a 2 large pieces of cake and 2 scoops of Ice Cream for the entire table to share for Desert. Even the Cake and Ice Cream were very good. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the exception s service and the great food. I for one can't wait to go back. Follow Me On FB For More Reviews & Fun. Gulf Coast Terry

Me and a friend came here for a quick bite to eat. We were sat immediately and our orders were taking right away. We got everything so quick and were able to pay and leave just as quick. My server did tell me I had two sides with my meal which I did question but when I got the bill I wash charged for the extra side. I didn't bring it up with time but was a little annoyed about it. Thankfully it was just 3$ extra and not a lot. There's plenary of seating this location is huge. It feels like a living room and you get that cozy feeling of being in someone's home.

I was pleasantly surprised. Longhorns food is almost always on point but service has varied by location. The service and ambiance at this location was awesome, the manager stopped by the table to introduce his self, which I thought was very kind. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked as usual. We will be back!

Long pour Mango Margarita was perfected and lasted my whole lunch. And my Parmesan-Crusted Ribeye was honestly too good especially with the sweet potato side

Turns out they have an incredible happy hour, but we were truly interested in dinner... So we asked for a table. The interior at Stone Throw is beautiful, well decorated, and in a great location on Cape Coral Parkway with ample parking. Our waiter, Shawn, was quick to greet us and offer drinks. Husband had some beer questions, and Shawn was ready with answers/suggestions. Being a red wine girl, I happily ordered a bottle from their ample list. We started with an appetizer of brussels sprouts. They were absolutely amazing with pecans... Not something we have had before. Highly recommend. I opted for their prime fillet, Husband had steak Diane. I cannot say enough good about these steaks. We've been to some of the best stake establishments from Naples to Punta Gorda, this ranks right up there! I did get the lobster tail add on, it was the most flavorful lobster tail I ever had in southwest Florida. Overall, one of the better meals we have had in our years of living in SWFL. Shawn kept our drinks (and waters) full, and was absolutely charming during our entire experience. He was always watching and nearby, but not obtrusive. He packed our leftovers for us, and then bagged the containers. Great touch, Shawn! Kudos to the manager who walks around to tables and asks about your meal, what brings you in, and if there's anything he can do to make your trip more enjoyable. Fabulous touch! I truly cannot recommend this place more highly. Will definitely be back! Five stars, Stones Throw!

The place was beautifully decorated, and there was live music, saxophone player which definitely added to the vibe. We were seated outside, likely due to how busy it was. There was also a large wedding party, maybe 15 people or more, taking up a section outside. Our server was managing both that party and our table, and while he was friendly and clearly doing his best, the service just didn't land. It took a while for things to get moving. He brought the menus, but it was a long time before he returned. Drinks took over 20 minutes to come out. Bread came after the drinks, but with no plates or silverware, so we had to eat it with our hands. Not ideal. That said, the espresso martini was excellent--no complaints there. When the food came out, the presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh and well-executed. That part of the meal definitely hit the mark. But then it took just as long to get the check, and by that point, the waiting added up. One small but noticeable issue was the smell of the table and menus--it gave off that old rag scent, which pulled me out of the otherwise upscale experience. I think this place has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is great, the food is solid, and the concept is there. But based on this visit, I would like to see sharper execution on the service side before I'd give it a higher rating. I will return.

I wanted to order a bar drink so I hadn't even looked at the menu yet, and same for the rest of my party so we asked her to come back in a few minutes. I'm not sure if this made her angry but we sat for about 20 min after that while she heavily served the people next to us with no waters or anything and also worked behind the bar... When she finally came over we gave our drink order and put in an app. We ordered the calamari and I ordered an espresso martini. Both were great! She still seemed to be taking so so long in between ordering. Our whole dinner took over 3 hours from 7:30, passed 10 For dinner I ordered shrimp scampi which was also so so good and for dessert we ordered the cheese cake which was also solid! The Fort Myers Capital Grille absolutely lived up to what I expect from this brand: polished food,…read morea refined atmosphere, and first-class service. We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer with tomatoes. It was an interesting dish and definitely well executed, though I expected a few more tomatoes on the plate. The prosciutto seemed lightly pan-seared, which gave it a crispy texture that I really enjoyed, and the bread was wonderfully crisp as well. Overall, a solid starter. The main event for me was the Kona-crusted bone-in New York strip, cooked medium. I've had this dish at other Capital Grille locations, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The Kona coffee crust paired with the sauce is such a great flavor combination. The steak itself was a very good cut of meat, tender and not tough at all. I personally would have liked a little more sauce, but I can also understand that the coffee marinade and crust are meant to be the star. For dessert, I had the chocolate espresso cake, and it was excellent. It struck a great balance: rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but he mentioned he was fairly new, around seven months in, and he did a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We even left him a taste of our bottle of wine to help him end his shift on a good note.
