Mac and Mac n Cheese Balls

The atmosphere was beautiful and open. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was AaaaMAZING. I had the Mac and Cheese balls and a Kings Dream Tri Tip Sandwich with Mojo wedges. Everything had great flavor and cooked to perfection. It was the food highlight of our trip over the weekend

10/12/24 Lunch We were recommended to try this place from a local.... Huge mistake. Our first clue should have been that upon walking into the restaurant, there was no smell of bbq at all. There were only a few ppl inside eating. The hostess station is in the middle of the restaurant so we walked up, got handed menus & told that we could seat ourselves anywhere in the restaurant we would like. The menu didn't seem too impressive. It was pretty much standard barbecue sides and meats. We both decided to go with the one meat +2 sides. We chose the beef rib( 2/5 because it was super tough! Not tender at all... the bbq sauce was good tho) as our meat ( you get 1 rib) and we got potatoe salad( 2.5/5), mojo wedges 0/5( hard and thick, yuck!!) garlic bread cornbread w/ honey butter was the best thing we ate! We ordered a flight of 4 drinks, it was so-so & VERY sweet. They don't sell spirits so beer and wine are all you get. Pretty much, save your coins and go to a real barbecue spot.

Why are there grill marks on the cut side of the tri tip???!!

This is a side of tri tip on the meat plate...the mac and cheese is good. Still cant figure out why the sliced tri tip has grill marks..

Met the owners while having lunch at Pismo Beach! They asked me how I liked the renovated Pismo Beach wharf. Told them I was from SF and don't remember what it was like before! Told them I was not impressed w/ the tri tip I had at the "Old Slo" and that my friend had recommended this place called "Ribline"? They both laughed and said they owned that restaurant! I asked them what else I needed to try there and was recommended that I try the chili? I went there and honestly have to say it was one good tri tip sandwich! Had some tasty chili and you can taste the smokiness in the ribs! Lots of parking, not far from Pismo Beach, and fast and good service.

This was our first time at Rib Line since it's new makeover! It looks completely different from the last time we checked it out. I would say it kind of has "hotel" vibes with the new color scheme and decor. We went for a comedy show, which turned out to be hilarious. The food was good, nothing to complain or boast about - average American food. The service was great - Seemed to be a majority of younger/teen staff, all very kind. One thing we were surprised about is they no longer have a full bar, it's is now only beer and wine, and rather expensive at that as well. Also - food wise - their Mac-n-cheese... BOMB! 10/10!!!!

This place has gotten multiple try's from me and each time I haven't written a review because I feel like they were trying up until now. Went in took 35-45 minutes for artichoke mind you there was no other customers. Got it to go because my fiancé had already finished his drink and we were over hanging around. Did not include any of the dipping sauce it normally comes with and then there was a worm in it and more than one. Really disgusting I would give zero stars if possible and I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm very pregnant and was served food with worms and the only people eating here are going to be unknowing tourists because the locals have watched the service and quality of food steadily worsen. Oh also they said we could only have a refund if we drive all the way back there and bring the food. Awful establishment.

Half chicken, 1/2 pound tri tip.

We really want to patronize Ribline, but we've been in a few times and it just hits the pocket a little too hard. Tonight we jumped once more. We only wanted some takeout BBQ, no sides, no extras, just chicken and tri tip to pair with some quick sides at home. A fast makeshift meal addition. Sadly, we were very unimpressed. Flavor was good, but it did not satisfy for $38 both in portion and in flavor. $38 for the contents of the photo. Sigh.

Toasted Pretzel w/ Beer Cheese Sauce

We did a call in order. They said it would be 15mins so we were there in 15mins. The service was friendly and nice and my boyfriend really liked his tri-tip sandwich. I got the pretzel and beer cheese but mine was pretty much inedible. The cheese sauce was curdled and my pretzel didn't even taste like a pretzel it just tasted like an over cooked baguette. I don't know how a restaurant can give someone curdled sauce. I understand they might not have had enough time to remake it, because we were there right on time, but at least tell us and offer to refund it so I don't ruin my entire lunch and now don't have time to grab something else because we aren't going to notice until we sit down to eat. Just extremely disappointed so many restaurants do stuff like this. Pretzels are kinda ruined for me now.

We visited Rib Line for the first time today for a wedding tasting after the restaurant was recommended by a friend. We had a magnificent experience! Chef Brian, one of the owners, personally walked us through each dish, explaining the history of its creation, and helping us design a menu that fits us as a couple. The food was absolutely delicious, the customer service incomparable (from the hostess that sat us, to Brian serving us, to the Rib Line catering team organizing the tasting - shout out to Krystal and Melina for their continued communication while simultaneously juggling one of their stores flooding from the storms) , and the cherry on top- they offer competitive pricing. We highly recommend Rib Line! They are clearly passionate about food and creating positive memorable experiences for their customers.

We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

Seemed to close early, 8pm, for a brewery, but I guess it's a quieter area. Arrived past 7, hoping we can still get food and we were still good for food and beer! Ms. Kristie was so efficient and friendly and awesome, hustling back and forth from reception to seating and dropping by to check on all the patrons. Like a one woman show! I went for the Peanut butter falcon since I like a good brown beer. The peanut butter was initially nice, but it kinda became tiring as the sips went along, since peanut butter seemed a bit much over the beer. Got wife the German Pilsner and that was excellent! Smooth with a hint of malty sweetness too! I am thinking maybe the Lawn Order blonde ale is probably going to be great as well, but too full from late lunch to consume more than one. For food, went with the birria melt and the salmon salad. Birria melt had some awesome authentic flavors to it! Kid devoured it with the consomme. I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter.
