In my recent experience the food was marginal, the service was frazzled. We ordered two $11.99 combos which was supposed to have an entree, chips & salsa and a drink. I didn't receive a copy of my ticket order, and didn't have my glasses with me so I dutifully signed and added a tip. Because I couldn't read the details I took a photo. Needless to say I paid about twice as much as what I expected to be around $26. My opinion is the server was on drugs as it was helter skelter. If I go back I will review the ticket closely. Man with the bad reviews almost in income, but that my neighbor told me she went the night before and had the super spud, and it was awesome. The ribs were fantastic. Fell right off the bone. Service here was great! Kynlee went above and beyond! Pulled pork looked ok. Wife didn't complain, but she never does. Brisket was dry as a chalk board. I mean it was DRY! I am so disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered a rib meal with a side of fried okra. When I got halfway through the bowl of okra I could see old beans and dried bean juice inside of the bowl. I showed the waitress who was very apologetic. She told me that the kitchen manager was working at the time and that she would let him know about my food being served in a bowl that someone else had eaten out of and had not been completely emptied or washed at all. She comp'd my ticket $5.00 and gave me a $5.00 coupon to use at my next visit, which will NEVER happen. My husband and I were very disappointed that the kitchen manager didn't have the decency to come to our table and apologize for the highly unsanitary practices of his employees. We have been to this location a few times in the past and have always had decent BBQ, especially for a chain restaurant. I will start by saying my favorite menu items at this restaurant are their French fries and side salads! The French fries are always crispy and covered in a salty delicious seasoning! So busy you could barely understand what he was saying because before he finished saying it, he had already turned around an rushed off. Wife got a Crib-A-Rita for $4.29. He told me the only local craft beer they had was a Marshall's IPA which I like. It ended up being a Marshall Oktoberfest for $4.29. Wife got the 3-Bone Basket ($12.69). I got the Single Meat (Turkey) Plate ($11.99) each came with two sides. I got fries and beans (okay). She got cole slaw and potato salad (good). It was pretty crowded in our dining area and then they pushed three tables together with two high chairs for a birthday party. We started eating faster. This place doesn't hold a candle to Albert G's. Hostess ignored us and spent a few minutes punching into the computer before she even said hello. Got seated and ordered, when the food came one order was incorrect and one order was incomplete. This would not be a deal breaker except the same thing happened the last time we went there; stand at the door and wait to be acknowledged and served cold food by a server who disappeared for 30 minutes. Left a comment on their website, never heard anything. Stopped in for lunch and had the baby back combo, it was excellent the meat fell off the bone there was no need for a knife to eat it, the coleslaw was fresh and the bake beans well I try the cowboy bake beans and did not like so I had the sweet bake beans and that made the meal a excellent fit bottom less ice tea. My son was served chicken that was severely undercooked. I caught it before he was able to eat it and spoke with a manager about it to let them know. I don't expect anything in return, I just don't expect to have to safeguard my children from salmonella at a restaurant. I have always enjoyed eat Rib Crib in Sand Springs. My favorite is their pulled pork sandwich. However the last time I ate there a few weeks ago, I ordered and picked up a pulled pork sandwich, when I ate the sandwich I bit into a bone and cracked my back tooth. Had to get a crown and 500 dollars later still working on getting the permanent crown put in. And this is not the first time I've bit into a bone in their pulled pork sandwich but this time it did major damage to my tooth. Whoever cooks and pulls the meat for their pulled park needs to do a BETTER job at removing and checking for bones. Over all I think their food is really good, but will only give 1 star for because of this experience. read more
