I had the Cuban sandwich as it's one of my top 3 favorite sandwiches ( there aren't to many authentic Cuban places anymore ) made with pulled pork , sliced ham , yellow mustard and the correct pickles and the bread OMG so fresh and hot pressed to perfection ! Served with potato sticks. They had lots of other Cuban classics , yucca , pork ribs and pulled pork , fried plantains, tamales , fried potato balls and of course rice and beans! The lady who waited on me was so nice and friendly and you could tell she was excited to see a gringo in their mom and pop restaurant that was small but quaint, eating their authentic Cuban cuisine !

    Tonight's dinner (and tomorrow's lunch!)

Love, love, love the food and staff!! Such a low-key place but they are crushing the flavors and value. The portions are huge - easily 2 meals and the prices are very reasonable. They are serving up real food made in house from scratch. The roasted pork is amazing! The same with the red and black beans, tostones, shredded chicken, pigeon pea yellow rice, tres leches. Seriously, they kill every dish we've had!

Low quality food for cheap prices. The restaurant is dirty and the staff are rude. Won't be back!

I'm glad we stopped by because the food was delicious. We had the chicken and garlic plate & shrimp & garlic plate. We ended up swinging by again on our way back to the airport. Easy parking, outdoor seating & solid food if you're craving something besides fast food.

It's a day later and I'm still thinking about this food! Wow, what an absolute GEM. The tres palmas mofongo was so moist and flavorful (looooved the garlic cream sauce, which they give in abundance) and a notable portion size which was refreshing to see. The shrimp, chicken and steak were all so flavorful with herbaceous undertones. They worked so well together. WOULD RECOMMEND. It was 10/10. The staff was so kind and accommodating! The fried pork main dish was fried HARD but not dry. Just lots of crunch and flavor. The sauce it came with was perfect for dipping though. The beans were delicious and went perfectly with the fluffy white rice. The cute little outside area was perfect to sit and eat during a beautiful day. It's rare that you find a Puerto Rican restaurant this authentic off the island. I felt transported. Will 100% be back!
