So, the last time I ordered here my food took over an hour to get here, was ICE COLD, AND the driver forgot a portion of my order. So, I called back and spoke with the manger Sabrina, and she advised that if she voids the entire transaction, and charges me again to give me the refund for the forgotten food my card would be charged. If you are looking for authentic Persian food, this is a very watered down version of it. Rice doesn't thrill me with bold flavors, but the meat quality of the kabobs is solid and the ingredients are fresh. My biggest complaint is the fact that their 11+ dollar "platters" don't include hummus, which seems like a glaring omission, and although their hummus is smooth in texture, it's kind of bland. The people who work here generally do their jobs without copping an attitude, a big feat for a Miami-Dade establishment, and there is even one lady who is very nice. For some reason, your website ("ricehouseofkabob.com") deleted my credentials the first time so I created another account (I might have mistakenly thought that I created an account so instead of calling Rice and trying to regain my points, I created a new account). Now that I have created a new account, I tried to order on your website in the North Miami location because I live in the area, but the website wants me to order in the Coral Gables location. I called the North Miami location to see if someone there can help me figure out how I can order on your website in the North Miami location. Unfortunately, no one knew how to help me nor did anyone know who to refer me to. This is so unprofessional that you have a website running, yet you do not provide any type of help to the customer if need be. I come to Rice all the time. Lately, you have changed the taste of many things there (i.e. your sauce and your rice) - I don't know if it was just those days. You have left a very disappointing thought and taste in my mind and that of the other people I was with. You are driving me away as a customer. I fell in love with this place when I moved to the area 2 and a half years ago. I have since moved to Miramar and I crave it everyday!!! The food is amazingly fresh, and well prepared. You never get burnt meat or bad lettuce. They are extremely consistent and I have NEVER had a bad meal. Also CRACK SAUCE. I put it on everything. The food was delicious. I had the hummus and chicken platter "joojeh." The hummus was very smoothly prepared. However, you may not like it if you're not a big fan of garlic as it definitely had a bite to it. The rice and chicken were perfectly cooked. Neither overcooked nor undercooked. HOW have I not come here before?!?!!?!?!? Probably bc there isn't one really close to my house or job. Sadly, I have only been here once so I am basing my review off the sole visit. When I was checking out, the pistachio baklava caught my attention. But then I read "sugar free" and went from mouth salivating to super dry. Sugar free dessert?? NO THANKS. But I was feeling wild, so I asked for one anyway. What's the worst that can happen? Did I mention that the cashier was super sweet? She opened my order up before giving it to me so I could inspect and that aroma..... mmmm.. I couldn't wait to get back to my office to eat it. And when I did..... WOW!!!! Everything was spot on PERFECT. My only complaint would be that I wanted more pita bread bc the serving of hummus is substantial. There was also some sauce (forgot what it was called) that the lady told me can be used to dip the chicken in but that she liked to put it with her rice. I did both. To be honest I kinda wanted to bathe in it. I thought life was great. My meal was so good, I almost forgot about that sugar-free whatever. I cut it in half expecting to throw the rest out. Delicioso!! First time trying this place. I ordered delivery which came surprisingly fast. I had the chicken platter. I'm not sure what that yellow sauce they give you is but it was amazing!! The salad was great as well. I can't forget the Baklava. They didn't have the pistachio one when I called, which is what I prefer. But they told me about their walnut baklava.
