    Beef dish.

I can say I have been here twice in 2 weeks. The food was amazingly seasoned just added a little garlic salt to my beef dish that was so tender. The veggie roll was delicious but a little greasy. And yes I am still going to order again. The barbecue chicken on a stick was good as well. It has carrot sticks and green beens inside. Can't wait to go back.

I stopped by Rice n' Roll for the first time and got to meet the sweet lady who runs this restaurant. Right now there is only curbside pickup, but I was told that the restaurant plans to allow customers inside again within a matter of weeks. This has to be the best Filipino restaurant on the east side. It is the only restaurant on the east side I know of that offers lechon kawali. My order of lechon kawali came with a generous portion of super crispy pork belly and salad with cucumbers and tomatoes. I really enjoyed this meal. It's been a challenge finding many casual restaurants that offer good roast pork or lechon. I was also given a free bowl of lemony chicken and rice soup that was delicious. I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu and seeing the restaurant when it opens up again.

Had a craving for Filipino food and wanted to try this. Everything taste really good. Get bubble tea with taro. Hopefully next time I can try their Halo Halo.

Overall it's a two but the service was great. They don't have a lot of options. Not even the sausage! They microwaved our food in styrofoam, why microwaving our food anyways? Food was meh. I enjoyed their fried fish though. Super crunchy. I came here mainly though to try their halo halo since my Filipino friend said it's the best halo halo he has ever tried. And I disagree with him. The beans weren't even fully cooked. Won't come back.

Great place for some Authentic Pinoy grubs & native delicacies. A future pit stop for lunch breaks, & is highly recommended.

Found a Philippine treasure @ St. Clair Shores. Serving authentic Filipino Dishes to quench one's hunger for native tastes. Bicol express, sinigang, pork satay/ barbecue, tortang talong, pancit bihon, spring rolls, pork sisig( yummy)!!! Halo-halo! Hallelujah, packed with some goodness !

I stopped in for the first time today. The woman working the counter was very friendly and sweet, she made some great suggestions about what to try! I ended up trying a combo with the BBQ pork skewer, pancit, and some little spring rolls with a sweet dipping sauce. It was all delicious! The pork was well done and the sauce tasty, the pancet was great, and the spring rolls were delicious and crunchy without being greasy. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

I have only eaten at rice and roll three or four times I'm going to be totally honest with you I have always enjoyed my meals there but I cannot tell you what I ordered because everything is written in Filipino and you have to just kind of Pointe at the stuff on the buffet table and they will put it on your plate and then I think they just charge you according to how much you have on your plate or something I did recognize one thing Lupita's they were five for $3.50 but other than that they have like some fried rice stuff pan fried noodles stuff and some fried vermicelli stuff and then I think you get scoops of different kinds of meat on top of that and I'm not even sure. Last time I was there the noodles we're sitting out for a while and the girl with the back room for like 5 minutes with them I have a feeling she threw them in the microwave I didn't hear the Bell go off but I did hear the door of a microwave close. Oh well the foods good if you're Filipino you can go in there in order in Filipino because the people in front of me we're ordering stuff but I didn't understand what they were ordering so it's a little tricky but I always eat all the food I get there and I'm going to probably go back maybe I will brush up on my Filipino before I go back. I really think the help could do a better job explaining what the food is and how much it cost that would be a huge help

Counter Service. Light delicate balance of flavors and ingredients. Common comfort food. Menu may be rotational, so call ahead of you have a favorite. 3 COMBO may be steep for $9-ish but it serves 2. PORK BBQ - a good balance of marble meet and marination. Just right sauce. Great aroma when reheated. FRIED RICE - right mixture of ingredients. Not greasy. LONGANISA SAUSAGE - ordered from somebody somewhere. Nicely prepared. 2-pcs for the COMBO. CRAB OMELETTE - my first. Not bad. Fake Crab is used. PORK ADOBO is Tagalog style (sour/vinegar stew) with a taste similar to PAKSIW (repurposed leftover lechon by Bisayans). Pour that soup-ish/liquid over plain rice/or any rice...delicioso! PANCIT is made of rice vermicelli (my preference) instead of yellow noodles. Texture with light flavor. Truly acts as a rice substitute in a different form. DRINKS are bottled and canned. KROGER WATER is $1. SODA is $1.25. RETAIL (Brown Coffee) - skip it. Ridiculously fake instant coffee with unpronounceable ingredients. Made from Indonesia, distributed from Mandaue City (hello Cebu - featured in Foodnetwork). Leave it alone. Just a name with Vanilla. Great SERVICE. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. The Gals will gladly assist. Small VENUE is superbly clean and organized.

Sinigang. One piece of meat and the rest Gabi.

I'm very disappointed. I used to come here often. However every time I come now it's a problem. I got a take out today with sinigang and only got one piece of meat. For spending $15 that's all I got. I'm never coming back. I was so pissed I didn't even eat my food. Just sad. My fiancé happens to like this restaurant and now he swears we will never come back.

We love this place. Pancit and lumpia are my favorite. I really like the BBQ skewers also. Tried the shaved ice today and think.they use real syrup. Yumm.

This was our first time trying Rice 'n Roll and we are so happy we did! They were so nice and welcoming that it was just like I was at my Tita's house. My boys loved it and we brought some extra food home for my husband to try. We'll be back for sure next we want our Filipino food fix.

Most recently i placed an order for a 12:00pm pick up and when i came at 12:05pm not only was it not ready but they never even started it! The employee said it will be a few minutes. Several other customers were waiting and no one was bringing out their orders as well. Food from the kitchen was only brought out to customers who were dinning in. I never received my order until 12:45pm. I would come here more often but due to the long waits I probably won't be coming back unless I choose to dine in and i'm not pressed for time. The food however is delicious with lots of gluten free options. You can choose from 3 sizes of bowls: Junior, regular, and large. The base can be white or brown rice and for an up-charge noodles or all veggies. Protein options are chicken, steak, salmon or tofu. The Spicy tofu which indeed was VERY spicy!! The tofu was perfected fried and coated with just the right amount of sauce. I loved how fluffy and sticky the rice was but i wish there were more veggies. I only received one slice of zucchini, no carrots...only broccoli and cabbage. Food gets 4,5 stars but service gets 2/2.5 because of the extremely long waits. Defeats the purpose of doing an online order for a fast and easy pickup.

When the wife mentioned…read morethat her parents went to Gim Ling for dinner one night and raved about how good it was, I will admit I was a bit hesitant. I love my in-laws to death, but every time they tell us how a place they recently ate at was phenomenal we go there and it usually ends up being average at best. We decided to go there and give the place a shot and for the most part they were on point and the food was pretty damn good. I am not a huge fan of Egg Rolls, but I could eat theirs for days. The dipping sauce which I believe is just Red Wine Vinegar and Spicy Mustard is a perfect accompaniment to go alongside them. Service wise has typically been very good. We never had any issues such as the ones listed in other reviews. Pricing is reasonable too especially if you get the dinner (it is like $2.75 extra and you get Soup, an Egg Roll, Dessert, and Tea), but there is one caveat. I wanted to try the General Tsos Chicken with Noodles in place of Rice and they obliged, but charged me $5.50 for the substitution. I expected to pay an up-charge of a couple bucks, but not that much. While I enjoyed the dish with Noodles more, it is not worth it at that price point. All in all, I would suggest giving the place a shot if you live in the area. Just be careful when it comes to substitutions and ask beforehand what the up-charge would be.

We ordered crab ragoons, comes with 6, which were very good. The crab filling was very creamy and a little different than the usual. Sadly, our general tso chicken was hard and overcooked. The beef lo mein noodles were delicious, but there was little to no beef in the dish making it hard to even call it a beef dish. We wanted to like a new Chinese restaurant, but sadly this place was not for us.
