Rice Paddy is a cozy, family run atmosphere. They get busy because of the fresh ingredients and made from scratch. This place is cute, clean, and welcoming. I love that they have plenty of parking. We had to wait to be seen to order, then the ordering process was a little painful. My friend ordered and then he looked at me, I guess it is my turn so I ordered. He walked away. Ok. It took a long time 40 mins before we got our food. But the chicken wings were the best and then the chicken chow fun was very good too. The food was very delicious and flavorful. It took a while to get his attention to pay the bill so we can leave. Not the best service, I don't know if it is because the limited people working or not.

Delicious! Shrimp and pork spring roll was super bomb and fresh. The chicken wings are amazing! They're so crispy and they give you a lot of them for the $. The beef vermicelli bowl was super tasty, just wish it had more veggies. I ordered delivery and it was really quick! Would definitely order from them again.

I ordered takeout and was very impressed with the food sized portions. I also thought it still tasted great even eaten at home. Small mom and pop restaurant that serves up fresh meals at a decent price and portion! Highly recommend the rice vermicelli with pork and egg roll and the beef rice noodle! Service was friendly but took a bit to have order be complete but you can rush flavor and perfection.

Only putting the 3 stars because of the vermicelli beef salad. That was really good! The pho was standard . Nothing over the top great but good. The food took forever to get!!!! It didn't makes sense. There was not a lot of people there and what we ordered doesn't take a long time to make. Service was terrible but it's to be expected as some places but this was really bad. But that salad made it worth it.

Cute place, a small restaurant with good indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple but great. Tried their stir fry rice noodles with chicken- good quantity and delicious, the meat was well cooked. The pork and egg roll noodles were fantastic. Thai tea was delicious as well.

I walked in with my spouse around 7 p.m. or so, and we kind of stood around like idiots, not sure if we should seat ourselves or not. So, we eventually just sat down at a table. It was a little awkward. Usually, I would have bounced, but something about eating at a place called "Rice Paddy" had me wanting to try the food, even if the service wasn't great. I'll be completely honest - the service needs improvement here, but the food was very authentic and had great taste. I got the beef fried rice, spring rolls, and pho. The owner came to our table and gave us some background on the food and was very personable. I think the owner just needs some better helpers, or maybe they're just not fully accustomed to United States dining yet. So, regardless of the service and wait, I will say the food was enough for me to eat there again and recommend to friends.

Vietnamese restaurant that seems to serve more Western folks rather than Asian or Vietnamese (no Vietnamese translations on menu). Service is nice but a bit slow. Got the following: Chicken wings: really good and decent portion (1lb)! Great for sharing. Nicely flavored and fried. Salad underneath. Papaya salad: Refreshing, not bad. Large portion good for sharing. Egg rolls: just OK...I've had much better at other places in PHX. Pho: Too sweet and no depth in broth. First time husband said he didn't like pho. Expected more for $16/$17 a bowl. Lemongrass chicken noodle salad: Not the vermicelli bowl I am used to, mostly lettuce, cucumbers, noodles, and chicken. The chicken had a nice flavor and was tender. Expected some carrots and fresh green onions. Curious about the chef specialties which have whole braised fishes! Might return for that if I'm in the area but wouldn't plan for it.

A hidden gem in Phoenix! The stir-fried beef noodles are the best. tender beef, fresh veggies, and the Thai milk tea is so delicious. The place is cozy, and Phong's warm, friendly service makes every visit perfect. We always leave happy and full!

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

The place is very clean inside, nicely decorated, and had background music playing (I hate places that are dead silent). A nice spot for me and my girlfriend to enjoy our lunch and talk over a bowl of pho. I was intrigued by the veggie pho because they used baby corn, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and asparagus. I don't really like vegetable broth so I asked if the broth could be their beef broth which they said was ok. My girlfriend had the chicken pho like she usually does and we shared a spring roll. I have to say that I was blown away with how delicious my pho was. It had such a nice clean beef flavor that you love when enjoying pho. The vegetables worked incredibly, but I' sure any of their beef options are stellar (I just wanted veggies). No doubt one of the more memorable broths that's I've had in a long time! My girlfriend's pho was also super flavorful and had a nice aroma as well. She ended up eating all the broth and had a bunch of leftover noodles and chicken. I would really recommend not serving the chicken diced in cubes because you can't get those nice chopsticks full of noodles and chicken. The roll we ordered was good, but probably not something I'd get again. They use filet mignon for it, but I think I would prefer to have them use a less expensive cut and give me 2X the meat. Finally our server Enrique was cool and very attentive and let us know about their Sunday pho special which was great. This place might not be as traditional as the other places where you see the entire family working and have the beat up menus, but it's they definitely make pho worth checking out for yourself.

I think this version tasted the closest to the usual beef pho I remember having before being pescatarian. While I didn't love the baby corn topping, I did enjoy the asparagus and overall I would come back for the vegan broth! Price and portions in the pho also were fair. I got the small size and it was more than enough. The service was also very efficient and helpful. I asked for chili oil and someone (I think the owner) also gave me their special chili crunch they make! Unless you're a big fan of spring rolls, I'd say the only thing I'd skip next time is the spring roll. While it was fresh and tasted good, it wasn't anything different than what I've had in the past for cheaper prices. Overall though I really enjoyed my time there and I would definitely come back for the pho!

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! So glad we tried this place out, and I would definitely like to come here again, especially when I have a bigger appetite!!

I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect.
