I come here pretty often with my mother since we live in the area. They have great lunch deals for only $5.99 and free soup/salad if you dine in. The servings are quite large so I usually have leftovers to bring home for another meal. You definitely get your money's worth here! My favorite dish on the menu is the yakisoba (sadly it is not included in the lunch specials). But the general Tao's chicken and chicken teriyaki are delicious as well. My son introduced me to Rice Time recently; it's a favorite with some of the local teens. I was pleasantly surprised with the wide variety of options on the menu from simple teriyaki chicken, to kung pao chicken, to yakisoba noodles. You are greeted at the counter by the friendliest man (who I think is the owner), and your food follows you out quickly. I was also surprised with the quality and quantity of food; you see this place is pretty inexpensive and not real fancy inside, so I thought it would be a bit of a "dive". The food is excellent, comes in large portions, and they don't skimp on the meat or vegetables. Some other "rice-oriented" places give you heaps of rice and cheat you on the rest; not Rice Time. So glad we discovered this little place. What a great option for Chinese food; as good or better than PF Changs but at lower price; priced as low as Panda Express, but with much better food. read more

The beef and broccoli was divine -- a bit sweet with plenty of pepper, and the broccoli was tender and crisp. Finally, the sweet and sour chicken, which I never get anywhere because it's usually so awful, was great! Not syrupy sweet or overloaded with peppers, like it is so often served. But trying this again in 2020 they seemed to have really ironed out the kinks. The salad they offer you that comes with your meal is quite good. The only honest complaint I would have is drinks do not come with your meal and you also won't get a delicious salad if you order to go. Refills for soda are .75 when you dine in. Things are getting kinda tight and I feel that what I paid for (the meal not a special) these things should at least come with it... I mean at least a drink.
