I should have over a hundred check-ins here since we're here so often. I just love it. It's a family owned small business, so naturally I see the same familiar faces. Service has always been good with us. Food is made fresh to order and I love how fresh and crunchy their veggies are. I normally go with the kung pao chicken, and my son with either the chicken yakisoba or the teriyaki chicken. I call my order ahead and it's ready to pick up when I arrive about fifteen minutes later. I feel the prices are good for the portions as I can never finish it all in one round. Some carry out items come with a small side salad, and if you dine in you get access to the salad bar and soup. Also, if you go during lunch some items are a couple bucks less. This has always been a real treat in Chinese food. The service is always great, foods always hot and flavorful, and the atmosphere is nice. However, the last time I ordered orange chicken and noodles I discovered 3 thin spiral metal shreds in the noodles. The first one I pulled out and decided it was an accident, but as I dug deeper I found more and more. Luckily I didn't consume them as they were sharp. I'm broadening my luncheon horizons! Venturing a bit further into Wilsonville than usual, it was a toss-up between French toast at the bowling alley and pseudo-Asian fare at Rice Time*. While fried, eggy bread saturated in sugar indeed sounded amazing, we ended up deciding that it was TIME for the RICE...which is always NICE, imo. Anyhoo, this place is pretty much your typical strip-mall restaurant--relatively cheap with greasy food and sassy ladies. It's true what Jen said...the decor really does suck. Dark red tablecloths, and a front counter that looked like it came out of a stable (according to my coworker). However, they have a pretty good array of foods. I'm not gonna lie--the terriyaki chicken was pretty damn good. And it came with rice, salad, and tempura veggies and shrimp for $6.99. I am full. Fosho. The chicken was in whole pieces instead of strips. Other options include mainstays such as orange chicken and general's; udon, spicy ramen, sweet and sour chicken; and lots of tofu. All at reasonable prices. The only thing that would have made my experience eons better today was if my lunch mate would have tried the Sriracha. *Which, oddly enough, must be a chain, since there is one in good ol' Monmouth, too. read more

I've sampled their lunch special menu and have been astounded at the amount of flavor their dishes have, never over or under cooked. Despite another review rating the service poor, I've always been greeted by friendly staff with quick service. A word of warning though, if you want it extra spicy, say spicy and not hot. I wanted my ramyun extra spicy and asked for it extra hot - what they did was send it to hell to be heated by flames too hot for Earth. Now the kind, humble, bespectacled man is back behind the counter here in W'ville and Canby RT has fallen. I don't know a thing about this man but I do know where ever he is great food and service is sure to be found. Don't even get me going on the price! He's giving it away for a smile! With any order you have full access to the fresh made hot soup, which is beef broth with some carrot, celery, onion and beef. You also get access to fresh salad bar with a big bowl of well cut iceberg, cabbage and carrot with sweet dressing and fresh made, not so cured, kim chee. There is an extensive lunch menu with all dishes for $5.99 which are huge portions with rice and some with salad on plate also. You can get add on stir fry noodles in place of rice also. I always get the General Tao Chicken with noodle. If they have egg rolls on the special I always get one for $1.50. Trust me, this is the best egg roll you will have anywhere in the PNW. Eat. Pray. A popular Asian fast food restaurant amongst the Wilsonville community for its taste, portion, and speed. They are good for both dining in and take outs with really friendly owner. When dining in, they provide self-serve and complimentary soup, salad, and kimchi (which is really good). Some of my usuals are Yakisoba, Fried Rice, and General Tso's. Also, they always have the hiring sign so I believe they are a small, family-run business that I would love to have around as long as I can. read more

Sadly, the food quality declined to the point where we stopped going altogether until we heard the original owner was back. I have eaten here many times. I work close by. I always phone my order in and go pick up. I always get the Sweet Hot Chili Chicken. I like how they make it. My complaint is the owner, guy, behind the desk. He always try's to rip me off. There is a sign on the wall saying lunch special $10 from 12-3pm( I can't remember exact time it says. I just know it ends at 3pm) So I always call in my order and pick up between that time...he always try to charge me regular price or "dinner" price of $13. I ask him how come he try to charge me $13, he says it's because I didn't say I want lunch special. I tell him, it's lunch time, between 12-3pm, I order this at least once a week, why would you think it's dinner time. It's before 3pm, who eats dinner that early. I didn't ask for a dinner order....btw dinner and lunch is the exact same amount of food!!! No difference. Because he's so scummy to a patron of his establishment!!! Don't eat here. After trying many of the local teriyaki haunts, we stopped by here for lunch one day. Apparently it happened to be the day of shortages. They had no chicken teriyaki...Yep, you heard it right. I cannot believe that a teriyaki place could possibly run out of chicken! Oh, but it gets better...After a couple of us ordered other things like the pork teriyaki and beef teriyaki, one of my co-workers was delivered the bad news they were out of beef teriyaki. HUH?! Well, we were pretty shocked by this and normally would have passed on this place and headed down the street to another place, but we were pressed for time. So, my co-worked ordered something else and we were on our way. I had the pork teriyaki which was pretty good. I was excited to find an Asian place near home, but I was pretty disappointed. 2.5 stars. I was somewhat disappointed about the limited menu. You have fried covered in sauce, fried without sauce, and teriyaki. It is entrée and rice. Unless you get udon or bi bim bap, I think. The rice was nothing special, and the entrées were disappointing. My boyfriend got General Tso's chicken, which was heavy on the sauce masking a mildly burnt flavor. Wasn't terrible, but not something I would order. I ordered chicken katsu, which was the disappointment. There was more batter than chicken. The dipping sauce was a very smokey BBQ sauce with what looked like pepper in it. The chicken itself was maybe 1/4" thick, with extremely crispy batter all over the outside that was so heavy it fell off the chicken. With the top layer removed you could almost taste the chicken. The Service was friendly and fast and the food was good. I felt the price of $8 was high for the soup. Even though it was good, it was not $8 terrific. My husband had the special of the day which was Teriyaki Chicken. He said it was good and just the right amount. The restaurant is clean. The atmosphere is open but nothing special. This was our first experience here.. Maybe if I also had a $6 lunch special I would of given more stars. This seemed like a good deal.
