You are not just a number to them, they treat as not only a patient but also a friend, they go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and all your questions are answered. I am truly blessed I found such a caring and compassionate Dr. I highly recommend his office to everyone. Reading some of these reviews a lot of people mention the wait time.. and yes there is sometimes a wait, but that's because he's giving the patient before you all the attention he will soon be giving you. We are new to Dr Armour's practice, but I have been REALLY impressed with the Dr's staff: they are on top of things and they are also kind. I have found the office's online portal very convenient and easy to use and like that they respond in a timely manner to emails. So far, we have only had one in person and one telehealth appointment (which was really easy to log onto) and found the Dr to be very personable and he seems to be attentive and thorough and didn't rush us through either appointment which is much appreciated so I can understand why some of the other reviewers have said that their appointments didn't start on time. (If your time is not as flexible, experience from another past favorite Dr has taught us that getting early in the day appointments reduced lobby time since wait times can get longer as the day goes on and Telehealth appointments are also great since you can do them anywhere and they are more likely to start on time). The Dr appears to be very popular, so appointments are scheduled out but if you have something urgent the office staff will work to get you in sooner. read more

Your Time Means Nothing Here I don't usually leave reviews, but after sitting in this office for nearly three hours for a basic check-in and referral conversation, I'm convinced this needs to be said. Patients are called in for their appointment times, then left to rot in a second waiting room for another 30 to 45 minutes before even seeing the doctor. No apology. No explanation. Just silence, fluorescent lighting, and the slow death of your patience. The doctor? Outdated in both bedside manner and mindset. He speaks like his minutes are somehow worth more than our hours. The arrogance is palpable. There's no sense of urgency, no respect for the fact that everyone else in that building has somewhere to be and lives to live. This isn't care. It's control. My appointment time was 230. I arrived at 2pm to fill out paper work and was called in at 2:40, took vitals and waited in the room for the doctor to arrive. I waited until 3:45. I couldn't wait any longer. The front desk said most patients wait a long time because they like the doctor and how much he talks. Well, people make appointments for a reason. We have lives and kids to pick up from school. Very frustrating. I waited over 2 weeks for this appointment and now have to wait another month. Very un-professional! read more

Dr Armour is the BEST Dr. He actually cares about his patients and spends time with them. HE IS OLD SCHOOL! Yes, you might have to wait awhile, but that's because he cares, if you have an emergency, he will see you right away. His assistant Cynthia is amazing and gets messages to Dr Armour right away. Disappointed. As a new patient I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. After waiting in waiting room for 30 minutes past my appointment time was told it would be another HOUR & A HALF. I wouldn't be seen until 2 HOURS past my appointment. Please be respectful of people's time. I would have preferred a courtesy call to be rescheduled. Dr. Armour is truly an amazing doctor and one of kind. He provides top notch patient care. He actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and address your needs, rather than most doctors who do not want your input. He truly is a hidden gem of a doctor and was referred to me by a friend who raved about him. He has not disappointed me at all. My insurance is not covered by him so I pay out of pocket and let me tell you that every cent is worth it. I have never been treated by such a caring doctor. Yes you may have to wait a bit, but do not let that discourage you- there's a wait because he takes his time with every patient, and when he's treating you he'll equally take his time to address any questions or concerns. My insurance doesn't cover him, but that's their problem not his. I'm happy to pay out of pocket to see someone I actually know will take the time to talk with me and value my input, not just tell me what's wrong and be on his way. The receptionist who always answers the phone seems like she never has any answers or doesn't know what she's doing. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Armour. He's genuine, smart and really keeps up with what is going on in medicine. As everyone says, he genuinely cares about all of his patients. When you finally get to see the provider everything is fine. The 2-3 hour wait to see them is unacceptable. There is no disclosure regarding to how long these waits are going to be. The front office staff is rude, disorganized and unapologetic when fault is on their side. I would t recommend anyone to see this provider. I love Dr Armour! We have been going to Dr. Armour now for many years, and he is by far the best, most compassionate doctor I have ever had. He is truly caring about his patients, very personable and makes our doctor visits very comfortable. He develops a dr - patient trust that is great, you feel 100% comfortable talking with him and telling him what is wrong (even beyond physical pains lol). I have come to Dr. Armour with some very sensitive issues over the years and I'm so grateful for his time, compassion and assistance. Also, he actually truly looks into your health issue, he doesn't just write a prescription and sends you on your way. I've had doctors who just pushed pills on me without a proper diagnose, so rest assured this is not the case here with Dr. Armour. I know that once in awhile, the wait to get in for your exam may be a little long, however please know that it is this way because Dr. Armour takes the time that is needed to be with his patients, even if it goes a little longer than the appointment. So just be patient, you may be happy for the extra time he gives YOU when you need it and that you aren't just pushed out the door when time is up :) I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Armour, he seriously needs to be cloned. :) read more

Let me just start by saying Dr Armour IS AMAZING - in every sense of the word. I just started seeing him in July 2014, after seeing several doctors over the years and just not being satisfied and/or over medicated. Dr Armour immediately makes you feel incredibly comfortable - you feel at ease telling him anything without feeling uncomfortable. He listens attentively and genuinely CARES about what is going on with you. The first time I saw him, he said that sometimes he does run behind, BUT that is only bcuz he makes sure he gives his patients the time the need and deserve. Personally, I'd rather wait 2 hours to see a doctor who cares enough to spend the time with you and ACTUALLY listen and try to come up with a solution to the problem. He is THE BEST doctor I have EVER BEEN TO. He's funny, personable, brilliant, and his bedside manner is the best I've ever seen. I've been with Dr Armour for around 8 years. His knowledge and techniques are impeccable. Any questions you have, he has an answer. He will take every step to discover whatever is wrong. I had an insurance change were I lost Dr Armour for two years, during that time I had a personal issue were my body stopped producing Testosterone. My doctor I had to switch to, had a limited amount of knowledge and overdosed me in my treatment, which caused severe anxiety as my hormones were out of control. My open enrollment came around and I paid for the higher insurance company to get Dr Armour back. Long story short, he saved me life. I recommend him to everyone. Great doctor! I was having knee pain. Nothing crazy but I didn't want to end up regretting not getting it checked out later. After a short wait I was greeted by Dr. Armour. He apologized for the wait and explained he's not a doc who'll throw an Rx at an issue. Sometimes that means he runs a little behind because he wants to understand the big picture. I totally agree with this philosophy. (Look up OD Dr or Doctor of Osteopathy and that will explain it all) :) After talking over my background he was able to determine what was going on with me and asked if also had shoulder pain. I do! Is he psychic? Nope just that good! We made a plan to strengthen my little body up with some light weight excersice and vitamins. He set my mind at ease and I feel very confident with his diagnosis. Also, my husband has been seeing him about a year and we are both thrilled with the treatment we've received. We love him so much that we even changed insurance carriers to stay with him when he migrates to different coverage in a few months. HE IS THE BEST. Side note: The main waiting room is clean and nicely decorated. There's plenty of seating. Behind the scenes was also clean and welcoming. His staff was very friendly. I've run into a few meanies in dealing with pediatricians and his nurses were all very nice, prompt and efficient. read more
