Not only that, but they detailed the car before returning it (no up charge). In the interest of continual improvement, the only suggestion I would make is, have a little more proactive communication. The lounge was open to the showroom floor and in my last visit with a 2 hour wait, I overheard employees talking about their sex lives, gym accomplishments, playing loud offensive music & making fun of a customer picking up their new car after she left the showroom behind her back. Twice recently I've walked in talking like any crooked mechanic's ideal chump customer: no idea what's wrong, but ready to pay to fix it. Example 1: A year ago I brought my trusty old rust-bucket of a car in for a noisy exhaust. Nobody would've blamed them for simply doing the work I asked, but they did even better. They started with an inspection of the vehicle, and found a number of issues more serious than a mere noise problem. After checking with me, they started tallying up an estimate. Their official diagnosis: they *could* do a couple thousand dollars of repairs for me, but said I'd be wiser to save that money and put it toward buying a new car. Charge: $0. Example 2: Monday I hit a whopper of a pot-hole in my aforementioned new car. It blew out my tire, and bottomed-out my vehicle enough to dent the bumper. After getting the tire fixed the car felt fine, but I brought it to Muffler Man for an inspection, just to be sure the impact didn't cause any trouble. Their official diagnosis: no problems, nothing to fix. Charge: $0. I genuinely believe the folks who operate and run this shop would rather have a reputation for honesty than to have ill-gotten money. That's better than value -- that's values. The jeep they diagnosed it with worn suspension components and brakes. My daugher wanted to do the job so when we pulled her jeep apart it was exactly as Harrington's said. Harrington diagnosed my ram. Again they were right on the money. I replaced more than they said since the truck was apart. Bottom line what they said was wrong was wrong. What Harrington said was right was right. I gladly paid them to diagnose a vechile, then they aligned it. People have gone to this shop with estimates from other shops and Harrington has fixed only what needs to done. I know multiple people and vechiles that have been one and done. This shop is worth dealing with.

Upon further inspection, Bob discovered that I had fallen victim to the Ford 4.0 v-6 dreaded timing chain slack adjuster failure. We talked it over and I decided to go ahead with the repairs. Bob did what appears to be a fantastic job. Everything is clean and looks brand new under the hood. The quality of the parts that he used are factory grade or better, and so far everything is running like new. I hope to be able to keep this truck another 1000k miles. I would not hesitate to take my truck back or recommend to friends and family that they should take their vehicles to Mr. Pro.
