I would give 0 stars! Do NOT spend your money on flowers there! Paid for flowers $35 only to see them next day dead. Not worth it! They weren't fresh ! Old flowers for this price!

I've been to Rich's Fresh Market quite a few times in the last month, and every time it's been okay. First off, they do have tons of sales. Random sales on everything - it's different every time which is nice. Sometimes they have 2 packs of strawberries for $5, 2 big packs of tomatoes for $5, their frozen meats are discounted at times, etc. The only thing is their sale items are for the most part moldy, rotten, or on the verge of becoming spoiled. You gotta look through to get a good to medium quality fruit/vegetable. I understand what other Yelpers mean about the staff; I can't speak for the back of house staff, but all the cashiers I've encountered have been relatively unfriendly. I'm not expecting some top notch service, but there's not even a hello, bye, or anything. When I asked for help one time the employee seemed annoyed to point me in the right direction for an item. They have plenty of products from all over the world which I love. Their deli, hot bar, and sushi are all great. Their ready-to-go soups and other side dishes are a hit, as well. For the most part the pricing is alright, sometimes some things are expensive and other times they're very affordable. Not sure if I'd highly recommend this place, but it definitely has its perks.

I always had a good experience go to this market because I can find different things to try and the usual stuff than I grown to like also the prices are pretty affordable. Rich's Fresh Market offers a large selection of polish products. Great deli and fresh baked goods. Most anything you need in European products. The cashiers are always helpful and always smiles on their face. Considering the people they have to deal with. I've heard customers yell even scream at cashiers over the smallest thing. I have seen customer make cashiers cry. These cashiers have to deal with a lot so give them a break. Food selection is good. Can usually always find what you need!

This grocery store is catered to European grocery items. I was not aware of that when I came here looking to buy some regular old juice. So it took me about 10 minutes to find some sweet tea that I've had before. Never did find other juice brands that I was familiar with. Pros: * good assortment of European brands * there is a full liquor department * there is a deli that you can buy already cooked meals from, including sushi Con's: *there was no express line. Took me another 10 minutes or so to pay for my Sweet Tea. * the signage on the aisles were not grouped together with other like items * not much American brands available I was in a rush and was frustrated as everything was so hard to find. I may shop here again just to take my time and browse through what they actually do have. Other than that, this is not the place for me as a 1 stop grocery store.

Far more interesting stuff in general than Jewel or Dominick's. Decent prices, too. Nice bakery selections. The deli looks huge, but I've never picked up anything from there. The produce is so-so. Some things are ok, others look past their prime. Just shop carefully. As another reviewer has mentioned, beware of expired products. Check the dates on everything you pick up. (Which is a good habit to get into anyway.) I saw a package of ham that had expired a month previous, and it was proudly displayed at the front of the row. I think part of the problem is that the median age of the employee there seems to be maybe 17. I don't think I've ever seen an adult employee there. Also, beware if you go there close to closing time. They only time I'm ever there is Saturday evening. They close at 9:00. The kids aren't too discreet about the fact that they want you to get the hell out. The cashiers are always ultra bitchy close to closing as well. Twice they have literally thrown all of our items in bags. It's pretty offensive, but I kind of overlook it because I really like the store otherwise.

And the fact that an employee straight-up admitted that management refuses to do anything about it? That tells you everything you need to know--this place is cutting corners and doesn't give a damn about its customers' health. Imagine picking up a box of cereal only to realize it's been a rat's personal toilet. Or grabbing a bag of chips and wondering if a mouse has nibbled on it before you even get a chance to. That's beyond nasty. And let's not even get started on mice running around at the checkout! You're out here just trying to pay for your groceries, and a whole rodent colony is having a parade under the register? This isn't just gross it's dangerous. If they're letting mice roam around freely, imagine what's happening behind the scenes. If the front of the store is this bad, what does the stockroom look like? What about the area where they prepare fresh food? If they even have a health inspector, that person must be getting paid off or blind as hell. Honestly, this place should be shut down until they get their act together. No one should have to shop in those conditions. You might as well just grab your groceries straight from a dumpster at least then you know what you're getting.

The employee initially asked if we were doing two transactions, which I had no issue with and understood. However, after I completed the first transaction, she questioned whether I had paid for my orange juice, even though it had already been included in my purchase. She then asked to see my receipt and snatched it out of my hand, which felt very disrespectful. What made the interaction even more upsetting was that she was only paying close attention to us the entire time. There were several other WHITE customers using self-checkout at the same time, and she did not ask to see any of their receipts or question whether they had paid for their items. My sister and I are both young-looking and have a brown appearance, and the clear difference in how we were treated compared to other customers made us feel racially profiled and singled out because of our age and appearance. I understand employees have a job to do and may need to verify purchases, but that should be done fairly and respectfully with all customers. This experience made us feel unwelcome, and I hope management takes this seriously and ensures customers are treated equally going forward.

What attracted me were the signs in the window "HUGE PRICE CUTS" & the sign for a pint of blueberries for $0.99/pint. Almost every year we go to Degrandchamp's Blueberry Farm in South Haven & pick fresh blueberries. We freeze them and use them over the course of the year for cereal, blueberry muffins, pancakes and just to eat them cause they're so dam good. Well my freezer stock is almost gone and I've been keeping my eyes out for a good price on Blueberries. $0.99/pint is a pretty good price (limit of 3) so I went in straight to the produce & picked some up. They also have red grapes for 0.$99/lb. As long as I was in the store I looked around. The deli has some incredible sales on lunch meats, Lean pastrami, lean corn beef & 3 types of Turkey lunch meat all for $2.99/lb. I also found the 1/2 gal of milk is only $1.29 (reg. price). As I was walking to the front I stopped by the bakery. I found a tiramisu cake for $6.99 this is usually $12.99 @ Mariano's for the same size cake.
