Not many Vets give free shots for dogs. Thankful that this vet did at Lowes parking lot.

I do not recommend Belton Vet Clinic. If you care about your pets living, do not take them here…read more I boarded my dog, Merle, who has a known seizure disorder and was under this clinic's care. I trusted them to manage a condition they were already treating. During his stay, Merle had a seizure. I was told he would be monitored, but his seizures were not controlled and his condition worsened. More critically, the records do not reflect escalation to appropriate in-clinic seizure management. In veterinary medicine, ongoing or cluster seizures require timely escalation to longer-acting anticonvulsants to achieve control. Intravenous Phenobarbital is commonly used for this purpose. There is no indication in the records that IV Phenobarbital, or a comparable escalation, was administered or even available at the clinic. Because his seizures were not controlled, Merle's condition escalated to the point that he required transfer to two emergency hospitals, where he was treated for acute liver failure from prolonged seizure activity. His care exceeded $10,000. Based on what I was told by the emergency veterinarians, if he had not been transferred when he was, he likely would not have survived. After this, I was told by the clinic owner that I should be "grateful" he was transferred and she heralded Dr. Brongo a hero, as though there were some alternative to transferring him other than him dying. I was still charged for boarding, staff appeared unaware he had even been transferred when I returned, and no one from the clinic ever followed up on his condition or apologized. I filed a complaint with the Texas Veterinary Board, which declined to take disciplinary action against Dr. Brongo. While that was disappointing, I hope that during the course of that investigation she thought about the fact that she almost killed my baby every single day. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

My girl woke to a festering, infectious cyst that was on the verge of rupturing (a known benign cyst for years) and she was licking it and was clearly having discomfort. I got an appointment was seen on time, diagnosed, plan of action, treatment and medication within a half an hour It was impressive ! My fearful girl was on the road to healing and I'm grateful to this kind, efficient and knowledgeable staff.

Knew to the second when our boy would come out of sedation. Since Austin German Shepherd Rescue also uses this vet office, who better to take care of my GSD's health care than Dr. Daigle? So why not a perfect five? With the exception of the vet tech that got assigned to assist with our appointment, the rest of the staff is another story. I emailed the office requesting an appointment since the phone line was busy. Two days later, I still hadn't heard from the office, so I called and actually got through to make an appointment. I filled out all the online forms and had all of my boy's medical records emailed over. We arrive for the appointment & the tech starts asking me questions that I'd already thoughtfully & completely provided online prior to appointment date. It was a waste of my time to follow instructions online only to have to repeat the process in person. In this, the office could use an organizational overhaul. Now my boy is reactive: fear, leash & fence; with a very high prey drive. Rather than showing me a compassionate smile, I could see the staff rolling their eyes at each other, just a total lack of empathy. I could also say, better competent than good bedside manner but, as this was our first appointment, the former still remains to be seen.

If your looking for Dr Doggle level veterinary go to Murcy just as they suggested. At least they can be honest about this. He starts making these deep throaty growls that make him seem more like a "feral hog" than a pug. It's scary sometimes the sounds he makes. It took three trips to this venue to finally get him acclimated to the team. Dr. McJett and her team is so patient and supportive of our little maniac. She has recommended so many helpful tips to help us. Our Max had an ear infection and he would not put us treat him at home. After several attempts, Dr. McJett was able to pack it and allow the healing to begin. At least to a point where we could start home treatment. Other local vets were unsuccessful. I Love the fact that they will always give you a price estimate upfront, before they start the service. No surprises. No "Invoice Shock". Just honest upfront cost reports. The team here treats us like family...no better than family. Like employees. Offering a service that's tailored for you. So bring your fur buddies here and let "LHAH" attend to your needs. On their advice, I took her to Crystal Falls Emergency Animal Hospital in Leader where they took her in immediately and treated her. They contacted a specialist at Heart of Texas specialty and emergency Hospital in Round Rock where a Specialist conducted surgery. That was 3-15-26. She lives today 4-11-26 nearly a month later. I believe Liberty Hill has changed their policy to at least give OPTIONS to the pet owner. I'm sure that if needed them on a weekend, I would bring a pet there for some minor treatment. If not for Liberty Hills recommendation to take Brady Grace to Crystal Falls in Leader, I believe she would have crossed that rainbow bridge.
