I purchased a new KIA Sorrento in 2015 from Rick Case KIA, and recently was informed that the vehicle had been in a front end collision and poorly repaired before it was sold to me as new. This auto dealer sold me a $40,000 supposedly, new vehicle, that had been in a previous collision. Fraud? Now the dealer, Rick Case KIA, says they won't honor any of my warrantee repairs because of collision I never had, and never knew about. There is no Car Fax with any information available. How many wrecked, repaired vehicles are they selling as new? Tried to go through all the correct channels to correct this issue and have gotten nowhere. The dealer has put the blame on me, called me a liar, insists I had a collision and repaired it poorly, all very disrespectfully at that. The manager of the dealership also made me an offer to trade my car in, buy a new one from them and he would send my car to auction without divulging that the vehicle was ever in a collision, as they claim. Fraud? I need help getting this message out to anyone interested in doing business with Rick Case Automotive Group. I requested a call from Rick Case or his associates and they will not return any of my calls or emails. I have spoken to Kia's National Consumer Services at least a dozen times, and found that they are a waste of time. I haven't needed a new vehicle in quite some time and had memories of sitting in a showroom for hours as the "games" were being played as to price. I have to report that it wasn't the case with Rick Case Kia. I did lots of research and found a vehicle that could gut my business needs. Inventory for any make/model of vehicles is scarce or with a long wait time (1+ month or more). I found a vehicle that suited me well and I attempted to purchase online but was informed by the internet saleswoman that they have suspended internet sales as inventory moved too quickly. Even though I couldn't make the purchase online, she was very helpful in arranging for an appointment as well as gathering my information so as to start the credit check and other things moving as I was headed to the dealership. I was welcomed as soon as I arrived and since I had been dealing with the internet saleswoman, she had everything ready for my arrival and meeting with one of the salesmen. She was not kidding and was honest that inventory moved quick as the vehicle I wanted had just arrived and was being taken off the truck, in fact it wasn't in their inventory system yet. The salesman worked quickly to process my financing and the entire process was complete in 2 and 1/2 hours. I didn't need the vehicle immediately so I chose to pick it up the next day. When I arrived, the vehicle was ready and perfect. The salesman took about 30 minutes to walk me through all of the features as well as get my IPhone linked up with the vehicle. He was very informative and helpful and had everything set up. I leased a 2015 Kia Sedona eight-passenger minivan in December 2015 from Rick Case Kia. This minivan now qualifies as a lemon under the Florida Lemon Law. I tried really hard to keep this issue in-house, but Rick Case Kia upper management couldn't care less; in fact, they want me to pay MORE on a new lease in order to make up for the problems we've had with our car. They will lie to you just to get the sale. Salesman Houssine text me about exchanging my lease for a new kia, he told me that I qualified for Kia vehicle exchange program for my old lease to trade for a new lease and owe nothing on my old lease. After exchanging my old lease for a new lease I got billed $4000 for my old lease wear and tear overages and tires. I got this bill 2 months after I got my new car. The financing person named Ted never disclosed that part. When I spoke to him after the fact he told me he didnt have to disclose that because it was disclosed to me 3 years ago!!!!When I called the sales manager Anthony Larson he stated there was nothing he could do for me. I told him I had text messages for his salesman showing I was promised I would trade in my lease without owing anything else on it but he didnt care he didnt even want to give me his email address to see these text messages. I recently contacted this dealer about a truck shown on their website. I set up an appointment to drive the 60 miles to them to check out the vehicle. When I get there the service was great until they pulled the truck around. It had damage which was not shown in any of the pictures and also was missing the exhaust system. When I asked them if they are going to put a muffler and tail pipe on they said no. I also asked hem about the damage was not shown. They said it's being sold as is. So I pulled up their internet ads in front of them and no where did it say anything about either issue. Very poor customer service on that end. I do not recommend doing business with them. read more

BUNCH OF LIARS!!!! My wife and I have leased 2 cars from this dealer and because we were pleased with the deals we went back with my mother so she can get her car. We were promised $100 for bringing her business to the dealer. At first, there was no one there to sign a check.. We were told to go back to pickup the check. When we went back, the finance manager was unavailable. After a week or two of getting the run-around, we were told the $100 were applied to the my mother's deal, which was not true. Now recently, with one of our lease ('17 Niro) we got from them, on Monday, we took the car in because the door handle completely came off. The guy from service (Luis) told us to go back Wed. to get it fixed since the parts were being delivered. Wed. morning, I called and the guy told me the parts were not in and to take the car in today, Thurs. I drove to the dealer to find out: 1. the guy was not working today and 2. the parts had not left Atlanta and should be getting there today or tomorrow. My 90 year old grandmother has been put on palliative care. She was convinced about 18 months ago to lease a car from Rick Case Kia. She leased a 2018 red Kia Soul for $299 a month on a 36 month lease. Yesterday I called the dealership and spoke to one of the managers and told them the scenario that we were looking to find a way to get out of the lease. He asked me how many miles were on the car and I told him just under 8,000. He then asked me how much money she put down on the lease and I told him $2,700. He then asked me his final question which was how many payments remain and I told him 15 which would equate to about $4,500. Since the finance company told me I needed to speak with the dealer this is why I called them directly. They told me due to the low mileage as long as the car is in good condition which it is as long as the car has no accidents which it doesn't they would be willing to take the car back pay off the remaining lease payments and sell it as a used vehicle. Excited that I was going to get my grandmother out of her financial responsibility while being put on palliative care and no longer being able to drive I took the car into the dealership. They were very nice but typical car dealership they told me to come in and wasted my time. At the end of the day they told me I needed to pay $3,800 if I wanted them to take the car back. I'm not sure why this dealership decides to waste people's time when I gave them very specific details prior to me driving the vehicle all the way down to their dealership. I would be very cautious about buying a vehicle from a dealership that tells you one thing over the phone and then gives you a totally different story when you walk in the door with the vehicle. You would think a local name like Rick Case would be more willing to work with a senior that shouldn't have been placed into a lease payment from the beginning. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had!!! I recently bought a new Telluride and it was probably one of the most expensive cars at the dealership. Yes the Telluride is new and in demand, but it shouldn't give the dealers license to treat you like dirt - which is what the dealers here did. Not only was the car more expensive than the MSRP, they truly do not care about the customer at all and tried to nickel and dime us for everything. The finance manager Jamal lied at every turn and constantly fluctuated with the pricing. A simple signing of the papers turned into a 4 hour event with hidden charges and pitches for more products. This review is for Sales. My stellar experiences with other Rick Case dealerships were far different than at their Kia in Sunrise. While we really liked our salesmen Rick and Marlon, both of whom did a very good job locating & showing us cars, taking us for test drives, & listening to our wants, the next level of folks (managers, finance guys) were unimpressive and even disagreeable. They ignored our stated budget limitations (busted them completely), and worse yet, flat out refused to negotiate on price a number of times. It's one thing for a dealership to drive a hard bargain and try to get the most money possible for its cars; that's expected and perfectly reasonable. However, it's quite another to let customers walk out the door feeling like we were talking to a brick wall, to lose a sale over a few hundred dollars without even trying to negotiate on the listed price, to mistakenly (or intentionally) overstate the price compared to what's literally listed on the car's sticker, and to fail to follow up with would-be customers after we left. I cannot recommend what appear to be the Rick Case B team managers at their Kia dealership. read more

Where do I start? Brought my 2011 sorento in to have the drivers side door handle fixed. I love the car (this is my 3rd sorento). The shop did an inspection and told me that the car needed $2400 worth of repairs. The best part was that they said I needed new tires, which is interesting since the tires on the car now were purchased in October from Costco and rotated a few weeks ago by Costco. Needless to say, they're pretty new. I informed them that I would address the issues they brought up at another time, and that all I wanted was an oil change and the door handle fixed. They told me the part was not in stock and would have to be ordered. I agreed and they told me that the part would arrive on Wednesday and they would call me on Wednesday to make an appointment for Thursday. They did the oil change and we went home. Wednesday came and they called to tell me that the part wouldn't arrive until Friday. I never heard from them on Friday and finally called them Friday evening to see if the part arrived. They said it did and I made an appointment for 9am Saturday to have the door fixed. I asked if the car would be worked on at 9am as I was trying to figure out if I was dropping it off or if I could wait for the repair. They said that we would be the priority at 9am. I arrived on Saturday at 8:50 am to find out that we weren't the priority and in fact many people who had come in for oil changes we're prioritized ahead of us. Turns out, a 9am appointment is with the service advisors and not for the actual work. We waited in line to talk to an advisor when we discovered that a customer had jumped the line ahead of us. When I went to the counter to complain that I was there first the advisor (Aaron) rudely said "I called out 5 times and you didn't answer". I'm older now and maybe I don't hear as well as I used to, but I was raised to respect people and especially older people. Aaron apparently wasn't raised the same way. I finally got to talk to an advisor who informed us that the best he could do was get the work done in about 90 minutes (it was a 30 minute job according to the estimate they provided days before). Two hours later the car was done. I'm not sure if anyone from Rick Case Kia will read this, but if they do they need to know that they've lost a customer. $2400 worth of questionable work, rude treatment when I arrived, and service not completed when it should have been tell me all I need to know about how Rick and Rita feel about me. read more

Multiple issue with no resolve. Everything from paint to engine. Stories don't align with claims through provider of extended warranty and Rick Case records. Come to find out they came across minor issues they reported to warranty provider but because it wasn't covered they never let me know until it became a larger issue. As far as the staff they hung up on me as I was voicing my concerns and findings so needless to say they don't appreciate negative feedback.
