Still trying to find a spare tire for my vehicle and ended up here at Weston Automotive. The very busy waiting area had a full size white relic gas pump and another blue Mobil gas pump behind the ordering counter. Very cool automotive decor at first glance and a decent amount of couches and TV for customers waiting for service. Met with the lady in charge today, Laurie, who assisted me searching for a rugged spare truck tire which was uncommon and not on premise in their garage. Rubin from the store notified me within an hour via phone and informed me that the exact tire would be $355.00 anytime with only a 3 day notice. Excellent customer service. This location is a full service automotive bohemoth for tire installation and tire sales, maintenance, inspections, oil changes and brakes. read more

Got two flat tires. Came here the next morning to get them replaced before work. I was told my tire size was off-site and would take a bit to get to their store. Thankfully a nice older fellow additionally gave me a solution. We went over the similar sizes he had, the price difference, how it would affect the mpg, and feel of the car while driving. I wanted to give this shop a higher rating but in all honesty, I am still on the fence about them. As nice as they are with their customers, the actual quality of service leaves a lot of room for improvement. For instance, several weeks ago my battery died. I priced out a new one among several businesses and this place had the best price. I got a jumpstart and drove there. A couple of hours later, they came back and let me know that I needed a new battery and that one of the battery terminals was so corroded that it needed replacement. They took care of it and I went back to work. Two weeks later, my car wouldn't start. I called for roadside assistance and they towed my car back, leaving it there overnight. I spoke with them the next day and they said the new terminal came loose and all they had to do was "tighten it at no extra cost." They also said they would send their courtesy vehicle to pick me up since I'm in the neighborhood. I waited all afternoon and evening because they said they were very busy. They never came. I finally paid for an Uber there the following day. As soon as I started my car up to drive to work, the tire sensor went off letting me know that I had a low tire. Couldn't they have checked that? So...I had to go back in. That was another hour wait. When the service writer came back, he said that one of the tires had a pin-sized hole on the sidewall and they couldn't patch it. I then asked if they would please put some air in it--so that was another half hour wait. As tired as you are reading this, I was too with all the wait and inconvenience for something they failed to do when they installed the battery in the first place. The following day, I realized that the tech who checked my tire and put air in it, didn't put the valve cap back on the tire. Suffice to say that I hope I won't need to go back anytime soon, but I will give them another try someday. read more

They charged me $450 for one radiator hose on top of that they damaged my brand new car when the mechanic used something on my front hood that left deep scratch marks all over it which no longer the entire require repaint. Run from this place!.. 0 Stars...I walked in and explained that my car showed the symptoms of the tires needing a high-speed balance. The car drove perfectly smooth up until 55 miles an hour where I noticed vibration in the steering wheel and floorboard.. the manager told me "we don't do high-speed balance." Remember, this is a store that sells and installs tires.. He said there was some play in the front end and that I needed new tie rods, and a new Pitman arm.. He also said I "needed two rear shocks.. "I should've taken that as a warning because soon I would be in for the shock of my life with the cost.. I received a phone call from the manager, who said the work was completed however they discovered that my lower radiator hose needed to be replaced. Keep in mind he said all I needed was a lower radiator hose. I've had to replace radiator hoses in the past and I've done them myself at the cost of $29 for a hose. When I received my bill, they charged me $474 to replace the radiator hose and $1545 for the front end work and rear shocks.. $474 to replace a $29 hose. I told these people that they were being unreasonable with the cost of the hose. The manager disappeared When it was time for me to pick up my car and pay the bill. He did a vanishing act and used a complete jerk with a nasty attitude to basically rob me before handing over my car.. while I was Explaining that I could not understand the outrageous cost for the radiator hose another customer was screaming that the work they had done on his car did not solve his problem. After it was all said and done the $2000 this place took from me did not solve the problem. The car continued to vibrate when it reached 55 miles per hour. These people are there to rob you and take advantage of you..they are not there to solve any mechanical issues..they are thieves.. Two days later, I brought my car to a place called "tire hut" on sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale..They charged me $100, $25 per tire for a high-speed balance And now my car drives perfectly smooth when I reach 55 miles an hour and more.. We needed a plug in our tire they charged us for all 4 tires that didn't need it and didn't do a good job there was a noise and we had to take the car immediately to a reliable mechanic to have it repaired properly that told us our tires were fine and didn't need replacing - do not trust them - they are out for your money and do poor workmanship to top it off ! read more

I got really nice service today. I had stopped by earlier this week and they had a long wait for service, and I just needed a patch for a slow leak on one tire. The helpful lady suggested early AM, and their 7:30 opening time suited me nicely. The staff was friendly and polite and also noted a burnt out bulb which they brought to my attention. I liked the spacious seating both indoor and out, and complimentary coffee was a nice touch. They filled up quickly, though, so they might want to expand?? It was nice and convenient. read more

Don't service your car here. They WILL damage your car on purpose in the hopes that you come back. I had my car oil changed and they didn't change the filter. Went again for another oil change and this time they told me my car needed pads, rotors, brake flush, tires etc. This time they did change the filter and I could tell the difference when driving. They gave a very expensive quote for what supposedly was needed and coincidentally about two weeks after the visit my brakes started screeching horribly, and then, 1 of my rotors split in half. A rotor can split and may split if the caliper is tightened way too tight (which causes the brake-pad to wear faster). The other 3 rotors are completely fine and the one rotor that split was the only one making the screeching sound. Coincidence? I don't think so, I had the 4 rotors and the 4 pads replaced not too long ago (at another shop of course). The point is, DO come to this store if you want your safety and the safety of others to be jeopardized by unethical and sociopathic workers. Just check the other reviews, not once has anybody replied holding themselves accountable on behalf of the store. They're going to charge you for the oil, the filter, the disposal, the labor and also $20 for "shop supplies" they're disgusting people looking for ways to kiss a** to their superiors, at the expense of customers, in hopes for the superiors to raise their inferiors unlivable wages by $0.25 an hour. This time we had to tow our business vehicle to them as it was not starting up after having a roadside mechanic look at it and ghost us for two days. They were quick and efficient. Went there for 3 new tires and a tire pressure sensor, they didn't have the 3rd tire with them so i agreed to come the next day to get it put on, so yesterday they put on the two tires and replaced the sensor, which was a $600 job including the 3rd tire, then after i already paid and as i was about to recieve the key, which the timing of that will be important later on, they tell me that one of the wheel studs had broken, trying to give me a story that it was probably because of somewhere we had taken it before and that i would have to be the one paying for it, quoting me around $160-$170 for a part that is probably $8-10 and $150 for an hour of labor, even though i had already paid for the third tire being put on and was coming the next day, feeling rightfully insulted and mad, i left, then today i come for the third tire and to talk to them, asking them how are you going to charge me for something that you broke and their response was that they had to break it in order to take the tire off because whoever took it off last put it on wrong, and i asked them, then why didn't someone at least tell me before it was done to give the go ahead and why wasn't i this was something that they needed to do, to which they said that they did tell me, and i would love to know how someone who wasn't there would know what i was told and when i was told, then instead of being good with customer service they doubled down and said maybe you didn't understand because you don't speak spanish well enough, which for your information spanish is my first language and if i "didn't understand" how in tf are we having this conversation right now....in spanish, and then the guy i was talking to interrupts to talk to another customer and then just leaves and now i'm talking to another guy, and of course after yesterday i checked the reviews and saw this was not the first time someone had this problem there and so i had brought up their reviews and he made a smug remark "Well you can't look at only the bad ones we have good ones too" well no surprise that there aren't many, after i walk out and am in my car the original guy i talked to comes out like "Okay so what can i do for you, im workin on one right now i can do it for free if you want" i told him no and left because i would rather give business to and pay at an honest shop that isn't disrespectful read more

I have bought tires here and was happy. Then about 2 months ago I had a tire that kept losing air. I went to WT&A and they told me there was a nail in the tire and it wasn't repairable. They suggested I buy a new tire, or all 4. I felt my tires still had quite a bit of life so I just put air in the tire every few days when the light came on. Today I was over in Hollywood at a tire place recommended to me by a mechanic over there. They fixed my tire easily for $18! Bottom line--Weston Tire and Auto lied to me to try to sell tires. I've come to this place on and off since 2003. They took care of my Camaro back in the day. I never really took my Honda Element there although they did remove screws from my tires and even patched me up for free one time. Now I have a VW GTI and I was shopping around for summer tires. They set me up with Sumitomo HTR Ziii tires for a really low price. In fact their price was lower than tire rack. I can't complain! I called a bunch of places even over by 441 and this place was the cheapest by far. The salesperson also hinted there was wiggle room in the price but I didn't bother because I was already quite happy with the quote. My brother got tires from here as well and was also surprised by the low price he got. I recommend having a few tire options in mind and ask them for pricing on each one. Sometimes their supplier will have a really low price on something. read more

AVOID THEM. The manager admitted to me that they rip people off. They gave me a verbal estimate for brake pads being replaced. It sounded high. I should have asked for a written quote, so I could have seen they planned to rip me off for labor. The manager told me it should take about 1.5 hours but the estimate included much more time just in case it took longer. They called me 1.5 hours after I dropped off my car, to say my car is ready. When I arrived, I asked to see the detailed invoice. They had billed me $510 for labor alone. I was shocked. I asked "how much is your labor rate?" The man at the counter said $150/hour. I asked why then was my labor charge $510 for 1.5 hrs of work? The man at the counter said two mechanics worked on my car, one did the front brakes while the other did the back brakes, and it is $150 PER HOUR PER PERSON working on your car. So effectively $300/hour. I said "That is insane. I don't know anyone who charges $300/hour". I asked to speak to the manager. The manager amazingly admitted that the man at the counter had lied. He said "Two people did not work on your car. It was just one person". He went on to explain that the initial estimate was for 3.4 hours labor, just in case they ran into an issue. While it only took 1.7 hours to complete the work, he said "we still bill customers for the 3.4 hours of work." So he admitted to ripping people off. An estimate is a worst case scenario. If it takes them less time, they should not be charging you for labor time that was not used. It reminds me of the old Tom Cruise movie "The Firm", where the Law Firm is being arrested for over billing clients for time that was not worked. BEWARE - Weston Tire & Auto is charging $300/hour not $150/hour, and they are not billing you for the actual labor time. They are inflating the labor time to rip you off even more! read more

Took my car here to get an Uber inspection as they are on the Uber list. Since my car is only 3 years old and 50k miles I figure I would pass.. Nope. I was told I needed new tires AND new brake pads. They said my brake pads were "metal on metal". I guessed they figured I would say ok.. can u please fix that for me.. I left and went to my Chevy dealer where I usually get service and low and behold.. they said not only do I not need new tires but my brake pads were " no where near" needing a replacement. Just got an oil change there that left a bitter taste on my mouth. I was quoted 36 dollars for an oil change which i signed and waited to get it done. When it was done, charge went up to 45 bucks. That's almost 25 percent hike! When asked why, the rep made me feel like I was idiot to question him and that i was lying that is until he saw the paper that i signed. When he saw the paper that i signed, he said that they forgot to add a filter in split second. No apologies, nothing. I paid because i dont want to that guy making a scene for a nominal fees but i cant help but feeling that i am getting ripped off. His words exactly "it's good because now you are paying for it." Wait. What? Is this guy for real? Is he even paying attention to what I'm saying? I liked coming here as it was close to me and was convinient but looks like I won't be coming back. Snakes - watch out for this company, especially if you don't know much about auto repair. They'll be nice to gain your confidence but once they can tell you aren't knowledgeable they'll take your money in a heartbeat. This was our family go-to for auto repair for years, but since the new owner took over it's been big trouble. About a year ago they forgot to put oil in my engine during a routine change. How could they not tell? The knocking as soon as I started it was all I needed to hear. I never returned. Later, my mother-in-law had a bad feeling about some repairs they recommended, but only after the new owner took charge - not before. Maybe her female BS detector went off for some reason? She's pretty sharp. Last week my wife went in to check on a plug I had used on a small screw-hole in newer tire just to be safe, and walked out $150 poorer. When I complained that the tire was fine, they told me first that they didn't tell her she needed a new tire, they just RECOMMENDED it. I'm sure I can imagine how that conversation went - she's no pushover but she doesn't know cars. Second, they don't install plugs so that never came up. Of course they don't install plugs - it would cost 25-cents and take a minute so there's no money in it for them. I don't think it's any accident that both of the women in my family felt uncomfortable at Weston Tire and Auto. It's a shame after so many years of more reliable service. I can go on about our neighbors as well but think I've made my point. Apparently the other reviewers share my opinion. Go to Golden Bear - they're more expensive but you'll get value for your money. read more

This place is a total disgrace how they treat customers.... so disappointed in how we were treated as long time customers.. we brought our suv to have oil change, rotation (if needed) and to have brakes inspected. This happened at around 9:30-10am today. My Husband dropped off vehicle. However, I received a call from a Man named Rafael telling me that they have service my vehicle.. oil changed but as they were removing a wheel lock that it broke, he claimed that it was rusted). That made me alittle upset because we take great care of our vehicles, maintenance as well. Furthermore, Rafael said that it happens at times and had the audacity to tell me that he needs to charge me $50 to remove it because the tool that they use to remove this its very costly! Over $1000... how is that my problem or fault??? he also recommended to removed all the wheel locks so this doesn't happen again??? Is he crazy... so u are telling that since you broke one by clearly "not removing this carefully " I have to listen to this ridiculous suggestion?? How brainless is he??? Smh. Then he tells me that the rear brakes need to be replaced because they are very low... so I gave him the go ahead on that area... where I should of just picked up my vehicle and taken it elsewhere as pissed as I was. Then once the vehicle was ready we head over to pick it up and not return ever. However, I let him know that I was a very unhappy customer.. will pay but will not return. to make matters worse he proceeded to tell me that he will have to order that broken wheel lock because he didn't have it and that it would not match other ones because he would have to order a new set... . He couldn't care less about losing our business but clearly didn't want to spend the extra $$ in replacing proper wheel lock! Smh. Not to mention that they did scratch one wheel lock area where they removed it...Rafael stated that he was surprised how we were acting... how else would a pissed off customer act?? When you break something and expects the customer to pay for the damage??? If I could give negative stars for a review I would. This business has major issues. I have taken two cars here for new tires, bad choice by me. Both cars had a full set of tires installed and both cars tires had to be rebalanced as the equipment and "mechanic" did not do their job properly. Additionally, the staff here managed to loose a lugnut and not even mention it to me. Only found out lug was missing when in for different issue. I'm extremely pleased with Weston Tire & Auto. Danielle and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All the work needed was explained prior to completion and the prices are great. I highly recommend them. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable. There are also restaurants and shops within walking distance if you decide to wait for your vehicle to be repaired. I'll be going back in the near future for my next oil change and maintenance checkup. read more

I've taken my wife's car here about 3 times for basic oil change and this past Saturday I noticed that the price was much different from the last couple visits. I questioned the service writer and he said the regular oil change is only for 5 quarts and it needs an extra 2 quarts. I didn't have my last receipt to check what I last paid and just took his word for it. Over the weekend, I started thinking about it and decided to google how much oil my wife car takes and it is 5 quarts. I then went to check my last receipt and it said 5 quarts. So this guys just ripped me of an extra $10 bucks and lost a returning customer. There seems to be no honesty left with repair shops anymore. Even the big dealers try to rip my wife off when she takes her car in. read more

I'm giving this place a one star review for their dishonesty. I brought my car to this location for an oil change and I was told I needed to replace the front brakes and rotors. My car only has 20,000 miles on it and there was no indication that my brakes were low prior to that so I told them not to do the repair. The following week I brought my car to a trusted mechanic and I was advised the brakes and the rotors were perfectly fine and didn't need to be changed. I'm pretty thankful to have saved $300. This place is good for the basic oil change and tire rotation but my advice would be to get a 2nd opinion prior to getting any major work done. read more

Came to this place this morning and the front desk guy lied to my face on multiple occasions about a service they didn't perform as well as some story to sway me from asking more questions about the work I already knew had not been done. Dishonest and will say anything instead of just saying the truth to the client. In fact I was there and another person was pretty pissed off about some work they apparently had "done" to their car there. It was my first time going to this place and unfortunately for them my last. Arrived for for a simple tire issue and instead of being honest about what the issue was with my tire they lied to make a quick $25. Had they been honest I would have had trust in this shop but more importantly they would've earned an easy repeat client but it goes to show it's just unfortunately another sleazy quick oil change shop. I will be avoiding this place strictly on principal after this circumstance and I recommend the same to you if you come across this review. read more

If I could give this business a 0 I would! This is a horrible place to take your vehicle! They do not practice safe auto repair. We took our vehicle in for an oil change and the tires rotated about six weeks ago. About three weeks after the service, my husband noticed that 3 lug nuts were missing from one of the tires. He took the vehicle back into this business to get the lug nuts replaced. The service manager told him that it wasn't their fault the lug nuts came off and they must have been missing prior to the tire rotation. Really? We then asked if that was the case why weren't we told they were missing at the time of the rotation...naturally there was no response. We didn't take the vehicle back there to get into an argument about who's fault it was...we just wanted them to replace the 3 nuts and away we go. SO...after this stressful conversation and my husband asking if they really wanted to lose business over $12 worth of lug nuts...the service manager agreed to replace the lug nuts. When the nuts were replaced, they weren't torqued. We were told that didn't need to be done. THAT IS NOT TRUE!! Hence the reason the lug nuts flew off in the first place. Rather than argue about the proper way to tighten the lug nuts...we left...drove the car to firestone and had them torque the lug nuts. DON'T HAVE TIRE WORK DONE AT THIS PLACE. They are ridiculous and DANGEROUS!! read more

Have been going there since 2013. Prices are a little bit higher than walmart or similar places however i guess rent are higher in Weston. The god: they are nice and dont force you to buy silly services you don't need. They finish changing the tires quickly. It is 2016 and so far no complains. This isn't a place to go unless you know exactly what you want done. This is a textbook snake pit. I have lived in this area for 20 years and would have my cars serviced here. They used to be one of those gems that you were glad to find and would refer them to every one I don't know what has changed over the years but, I kind of overlooked the mistakes here and there over the years, paid them anyway and thought that the "team" might just be in transition or something. Its the small things like lose battery connections, cheap parts and just plain feeling like everything is over priced or just a rip off. I like this place but, things change over time and for me, its time to move on after many years. Its a buyer be very aware here. I would love to go back here but would have to hear something nice from at least 30 reviews over a few years time before I returned. read more
