As is expected of a Rick Erwins - Step inside and you'll swear this place learned its manners from a front-porch storyteller with a crystal decanter in hand. This is Southern charm dressed to the nines--warm wood, timeworn brick, and sturdy stone setting the scene like an old family estate that's been quietly upgraded with excellent taste. Soft, modern lighting glows just right, flattering every face and cocktail, while crisp white tablecloths snap to attention, ready for a night that knows how to behave. As the night thickens and the room fills, the staff moves with a kind of practiced urgency--polished, purposeful, and quietly electric. Servers weave between tables like dancers who know the floor by heart, arms balanced with trays, eyes always scanning, always anticipating. And yet, in the middle of that rising tempo, there's a moment where you have to gently tap the brakes. Our server, swept up in the rhythm of the rush is ready to sprint us through the evening, but a friendly smile and a soft word slow the pace, reminding everyone that while the house may be buzzing, our table is here to linger, more bread please! The evening begins with a little bit of drama--in the very best way--with a sizzling Saganaki arriving at the table like a proper grand entrance. The skillet still crackles, the cheese golden and bubbling, sending up a rich, savory aroma that turns heads and quiets conversation, every bite is a perfect balance of salty, creamy, and bold. Next comes the truffle pappardelle, wide ribbons of pasta lounging on the plate like they know they're the main character. The truffle aroma shows up first--earthy and indulgent--followed by tender, juicy chicken that's been flirted with chimichurri, adding a fresh, herby sass that keeps things from getting too serious. It's a pairing that shouldn't work this well but absolutely does. That said, the dish arrives shy of piping hot, and the plate itself seems to have missed the warm-up. The flavors are all there, showing good intentions and solid execution, but you find yourself wishing the temperature had matched the confidence of the ingredients. Upscale Southern charm with bold flavors, lively energy, and a pace that's best savored slow. Cheers!

Steak was cooked to perfection. They always do a great job cooking and service. Great for special occasions also.

The service was incredible Please ask for Freddy as your waiter when you enter! He is the best! The surf and turf is to die for! Nice and quiet with great service! Sure it's pricey but you get what you pay for that's for sure! We went on new years and a had a comp champagne and comp desert! The flavor and the fried lobster tail is ALL WORTH IT! Don't pass this up!

My boyfriend and I have been to other locations, but this was our first time to Rick Erwin's Greer location. We both agreed the food was outstanding! We both had the surf and turf which included a filet (you choose the size) and crab cake. We could have cut our steaks with a spoon - soooo tender!! The crab cakes were full of lump crab with hardly any fillers. For dessert, we shared a chocolate butter cake. Needless to say, one of our best date night dinners we've shared. We're already planning our next visit!

So fun festive blueberry Liberty Mimosas tasted like a fun summer sangria accompanied with the Lemon Curd Pancakes. Chefs kiss. The lemon curd pancakes were so good and even better as leftovers because I couldn't finish them all. My boyfriend heard the grits were amazing and got the exactly eggs only with sourdough and bacon. What a delightful brunch! Thank you Lily & Select! Happy Fourth indeed. Truly without her I wouldn't even write a review but she was amazing! Had us laughing and enjoying our food and drink the entire time.

I ordered the La Patrona margarita and it came out bubbling with fresh rosemary and dried orange slice, it was super special and unexpected! I was in the mood for seafood and we started with the ceviche with plantain chips, truely fresh and beautiful with a carved rose pattern avocado in the center! Then my husband and I split the chimichurri burrito, fantastic tasting, with steak and plump NOT overly cooked shrimp inside. The way this establishment is decorated, and the lively music that's NOT too loud, makes me feel like I'm at a hip and cool restaurant in downtown GVL without having to make the drive. Emilio is a warm and friendly owner who strives to make his customers happy I've observed and his life story is amazing! See you again soon! Brian & Carisa

The presentation is ok but I was warned that the stand would topple if I chose the wrong glass. Um, not a good plan then for presentation. I just pulled them all off the stand and set it aside. Too much trouble to drink and think about the stability of the stand. Otherwise, the pineapple, the strawberry and the passion fruit margaritas are delicious. Not super strong but delicious. The fajitas...I got the chicken, steak and shrimp and it was very well seasoned and a good portion size. I wish there was sour cream, cheese, pico and guac salad offered with the meat. Instead, you get fajita meat and the rice and bean side. Speaking of...rice was not well seasoned and the refried beans were soupy. Salsa, cheese dip and chips were good. The salsa had a nice spice. Service...we had to ask for water a few times. When our food arrived, we kept having to send our waiter back because things were forgotten...salsa and chips refilled, we didn't receive tortillas with our fajitas, extra napkins...basics.

The Pelham Road location is roomier with a better layout, so it worked out in our favor. The food was the same, and the service was over-the-top good. I couldn't tell you the last time I've experienced that level of service. The only warning I would offer is that the portions are very generous. Unless you are a competitive eater, get the smaller size and order a variety. Everything is great.

When she knows what she wants for dinner, I'm going to cooperate. The restaurant was not busy at 6pm on a Friday evening so we were seated immediately at a table and drink orders taken. When our drinks arrived, we ordered dinner. Quick. Like less than five minutes. A big sandwich with Mrs. that arrived with a plate of fries. And a plate of catfish and shrimp for me, also with a stack of fries and the cole slaw. All of it was okay. The catfish was light and flaky and not overly battered. Fresh from the frier. The shrimp were also lightly battered and lightly spiced. The TON of fries we had were delicious. Cooked properly, served hot and with a nice zingy spice on them. Overall, a good experience. Solidly four stars. [Review 486 of 2026 - 1414 in South Carolina - 25668 overall]

Best Bloody Mary I have had and no frilly garnishments needed! They had 3. Yes I said three. T H R E E staffers and they took amazing care of everyone in the house! The bartender waited table and kept drinks flowing and never uttered or looked flustered! She actually asked us for a five minute break?!?!? We said take 10 ! The food .... Calamari done in a style I had never had. Along with onions and peppers it was fried perfectly. Not over cooked at all and even though hubby isn't a calamari fan he tried them and went back for more bites even. For appetizers I had their shrimp and grits and again hubby disposes grits but he wasn't thinking and I forked some in his mouth and he was so surprised because he has always had gritty grits. These were so smooth and the fabulous taste from the sauce just cemented how delicious they were. Husband had a nice juicy bacon (piled high) cheeseburger all the way and it is served on a yummy brioche style bun. Buttery and toasted on the grill. Daughter had their chicken parmigiana (which I almost went with as well) and said it was a definite eat again! They have the bar and grill atmosphere but like family dining also!
