Updating my review to rave some more! I was rear ended two months ago, and finally got around to taking my car into Rick's.. for the first time in like 5 years. Service was just as top-notch as previously! Kevin actually remembered me (though it has been YEARS!). The insurance company for the car that hit me was going to pay for a re-surfaced rear bumper, but Kevin said I should have a new bumper. They ordered the part and put it on without charging for the difference... just because they wanted me to have the best service. They also pulled out a dent in my front bumper (caused by yours truly 3 years ago) and applied touch-up paint to the scuffed parts around the dent, and they polished out a scrape on the side of my car. They also detailed my car. All of this was on the house. My car looks 10x better... I can't even believe it. Seriously. If you have body damage to your car, go to Rick's. They'll take care of you. This place is the best! Went here due to all the great reviews and they lived up to the hype. Coming here means you usually have had an accident which is a pain in general but they were so good at dealing with the insurance company it made it all really easy. My insurance didn't include a rental car but they lent me a car while they fixed up mine for no extra cost! how awesome was that! Car looked great when they were done! They did it again!!! Peter, Vaughn, Kevin, Amed and the crew at Ricks Auto Body went above and beyond to take care of me and my car. I took my 99 BMW in for some body repairs. First, the guys had a " loner" car for me all week, then they worked their " magic " on my car; repaired the bumpers, re-painted hood, touched up sun damaged areas on the car. When i returned to pick-up the car AMAZING !!!! I had been thinking of putting the car up for sale before the repairs but not now.............she looks as good as when we first met............gotta hold onto her! I stopped here today, because I had driven my beloved Veloster off a big curb and my front and back bumpers had become somewhat unattached. I came from an autoshop in Pasadena that quoted me twice the estimate I received at Ricks for a rear ended bumper and new hatchback. I drive a low Dodge Magnum that hits the floor over bumps so when the truck hit me it ruined the bumper and hatchback. I got right in for an appointment with no wait. They also have a service car take you to Rental shop Enterprise to get a car, I found this very convenient not having to schedule rides to and from the shop. Alex and staff were very accomodating and informative on what needed to be done and punctual about phone calls for follow up. My car was in the shop for two weeks with a quote the other guy's insurance company was willing to pay I found Rick's Autobody online through Yelp reviews and I think the biggest way to say Thank You is by writing an awesome 5-star review. the usually shop I go to recently went out of business so I found myself without a trusted mechanic. Fortunately a co-worker recommended this place. I decided to give it a try and only got an oil change the first time it was great they were very nice. Wow! What a stand up dude Kevin is! He's sweet, funny, honest and personable. I almost gave up on a dent situation and filed a claim. But before I threw in the towel on what was looking like a $1000 repair, I decided to get one more opinion/estimate. Without going into too great of detail, I walked out of there in much better shape, and not a dime owed. After some research and great reviews my bf recommended Rick's Auto Body as he had recently taken his car there for some work too. When I called to make the appointment Kevin was very helpful, personable, and professional. When I got there he greeted me immediately and made me feel at ease despite the frustrating situation with my car being broken into (over $10,000 in damages!) He continued to keep me informed about every detail and process with the insurance and rental car companies. He said, "We're with you every step of the way," and really made me feel that they value their customers and really do take good care if them (and their cars;) The place is run by 4 brothers and has that family vibe that makes you feel you are part of the family too, I love that, and very hard to come by. The spacious lobby had recently been remodeled and felt very comfortable and clean, unlike most shops I've been too. When My car was finished, Kevin walked me through everything they fixed and pointed out things I would not have even thought about being damaged by the break in, like the exterior paint being chipped from the chards of glass, or the whole air system being vacuumed out because the glass had gone EVERYWHERE. Ok, I am not a robot and my uncle does not work for this auto body shop so you can trust my review! I called Rick about purchasing a car from Hertz car sales program and wanted to make sure I wasn't purchasing a lemon. The deal on this car was so good but Hertz has their own in house mechanics so accidents can go unreported. Rick was so helpful he told me bring it by and he would do a visual inspection for free meaning just peek at it. That alone was incredibly generous since most mechanics don't have time nor want to help unless cold cash is in front of their faces. Rick confirmed immediately that the bumper was replaced but no damage to the engine frame. And he was generous with his time talking to me about cars and gave me great advice. After searching thru dozen of auto shop and went to the dealer, I decided to give this AWESOME REVIEW auto body shop a try. My rear bumper had a little dent from the metal guard rail and the dealer had giving me est of $700 just for fixing it. Kevin was GREAT!!! he take a look at my car and stated that if I wanted to fix it perfect which he doesn't recommend because it was too small it will be $XXX( a lot lower than any other places). All the reviews I read prior to coming to Rick's are TRUE. They are fast, efficient, extremely courteous, accommodating and honest. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY the quality of there work is outstanding! They replaced the parts of my body on my car that needed to be replaced like a dented in quarter panel and just repainted the whole front bumper that was barely scratched. took my audi q5 there for repairs from being rear-ended. They called with updates, had a well organized staff, and on site car rental. There was some sap marks on my car that may or may not have happened while stored there, after pointing it out they offered to clay bar the car if i brought it back, It was a nice gesture. I just have this to say: I've dealt with auto body shops in the past as I've been unfortunate to have had more than a few fender benders in my day. But i have NEVER been treated as well as at Rick's Auto Body. We'll skip over some of the amenities and niceties, like Kevin over there being a total sweetheart and sympathetic ear to my stupid accident, or having fresh coffee each time you show up, but get to the nitty gritty. Rick's estimated the damage to my car which was essentially replacing my whole passenger's side. They told me a date that it could be fixed. They worked with my insurance company. Then they finished the car four days ahead of their estimated time. When I showed up, they walked me through every thing they did to the car, and even tested the doors and windows right in front of me. They fixed every detail. And even threw in a tire liner, something my car didn't previously have. As for someone who was totally screwed by Sunset Auto Crafters in March (who kept my car for almost two months, then I had to take it back to them again to fix a mistake they made), I have to say I'm completely blown away. Total time for me to be car-less?- 16 days. Oh and did I mention they gave me a loaner? FOR FREE. This place is every bit as good as the yelp rating. I do not work for this place. I have a 91-yr-old mother with dementia who needed 24/7 care that we could no longer afford. And I have a car that had to be moved from LA to FL for me to help with that care. But I knew my mother, a total worry-wort, would fret every time she saw the big-dog-greeting-car claw marks left on the passenger side by the previous owner's pet. "How did this happen?
