Guava and cheese
Kaya E.

Rico Bakery & Cafe is a hidden gem in Little Havana!! It's a small shop with really friendly staff and everyday that I went to visit during my recent vacation it was always full of locals. Once I had my first pastry and coffee here, I completely understood why. Everything that I tried was really good but my all time favorites (wish I had some right now) were the... + Colada (Cuban espresso drink with 3-6 shots, it's delicious and addictingg) + Croquettes + Guava/Guava & Cheese pastry !!!! (they're a dollar and filled with goodness) + Chicken empanadas I can not wait to be back in Miami come back to this bakery.

Friendly staff. Some bakery options. Decent cafe con leche. Toast needed a little more butter. Fair prices.

Was headed back home when I realized I was in Miami and needed Cuban coffee and pastries. Very cute spot for breakfast on a weekend. I don't speak Spanish but still felt welcomed and was able to order coffee, croquettes and empanadas easily. This place is bustling and typical Cuban bakery serving different breads, pastries and even cakes that you can order. They have an outside ordering window so you won't even have to go inside. Everything I got was delicious. Highly recommended stopping by for some quick service and traditional Cuban treats!

Getting to Little Havana was an experience, our Uber driver was about to take us to residential area... I inputted the address for the bakery from Yelp. + Cashier & service ladies were nice, but spoke Spanish only. + Assorted Pastries & Desserts, not labeled so it was a guessing game. + Used my limited Spanish to order a Cuban Cafe con Leche and Croquetta. We were confused about receipt, lol it said "24,48 (commas instead of decimal points) + I ordered two of each empanada and guava pastry. Given two white boxes and a bag. + Small seating stools and tables and outside pick up window. I guess it's ok to come by when you are in the area you can judge for yourself... gave it a fair "3"

A French Hidden Gem Worth Discovering…read more By pure chance, I took a different route home today and stumbled upon this charming little French bakery, spotless, elegant, and truly welcoming. It's run by Antoine, who was incredibly kind and polite , he even gave us a little extra of their delicious tarragon sauce to take home! The service was handled by a group of young women who were beautiful, friendly, and professional. One of them even recommended the ciabatta when I was about to change the bread , and I'm so glad she did! The chicken sandwich was spectacular: fresh, airy ciabatta, a divine tarragon sauce, and perfectly seasoned chicken salad with walnuts and cranberries. My daughter had the salmon croissant , crispy, buttery, and unexpectedly perfect. Everything was exquisite, from the flavors to the service. A true culinary gem I'd recommend 100%!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one didn't sit right with me. Paid $24 for breakfast (not…read moreincluding tip) and just didn't sit right for me to pay that much and not love it. I'm not usually picky about eggs at all, but these were undercooked, actually ended up leaving most of them, which is rare for me. The bread came out dry too, no butter, no oil, had to ask for it separately, which shouldn't even be a thing at this price point. Overall, just a very mediocre breakfast for something that ended up being around $20+. The pastries actually looked really good, but I didn't have any more funds to try them after already spending that much on eggs and a coffee. Only thing that saved it a bit was the coffee, it was good but very disappointed on paying that much for the breakfast I had. Not the worst meal I've had, but definitely not worth what I paid.

It's thoughtful, intentional, and effortlessly cool. They have a seasonal menu for both matcha and coffee, which immediately had my attention. I ordered an iced coffee with pistachio cold foam and let me just say... this coffee did not come to play. Strong, smooth, perfectly balanced, by far one of the best coffees I've had in a whileeee. The kind that has you singing karaoke in the car afterward and feeling like life is good again. The vibe inside is super cute cozy but stylish, with plants, pastries on display, and just enough buzz to feel alive without being chaotic. It's also dog-friendly, which automatically earns bonus points. Henry absolutely loved it and felt very included . Bonus bonus: it's right by Edgewater, so you can grab your coffee and take a little walk by the water afterward to catch the breeze. Truly an ideal Miami morning. Amazing coffee, great energy, strong culture, and a space that feels both local and special. Magdalena is officially on repeat.

I will say the matcha quality has improved from the last time I got their matcha (maybe a year ago) They also have a pet wall which is the cutest thing . Ting space with a couple of tables that are always packed. So be warned, you may not be able to stay and work here, especially later in the afternoon.
