Best super chicken burrito in the south bay hands down!

I've been coming to this place for about 4 years now, and boy am I obsessed! I always get either the Super Burrito (PACKED with beans, meat, cheese, avocado, fresh salsa and sour cream) or the Flour Quesadilla with carne asada and avocado. This is definitely a place to go if you're a student because the prices are cheap and the portions are mighty. The staff is always really sweet and even though you're supposed to pick the food up yourself when your order is called, the nice chef who makes my quesadillas to perfection is always happy to bring the food to my table. I also really love that they have a fridge filled with both bottled and canned drinks that range from Arizona Iced Teas to bottled Sangria which is delicious. Also in the fridge are many bottles of their delicious red and green salsas. Minus one star, because their main menu that is above the cashier isn't their only menu. They have many vegetarian items (I have a lot of vegetarian friends who love their Mexican food) but they're on a separate menu that is taped to the wall next to the cash register and is a little hard to find. Don't let the drab questionable exterior deter you, Rico's Tacos is what's UP in Campbell! I was introduced to this place a few years ago by a co-worker and I have been visiting every since. Super tacos = win. Their carne asada and their chicken are both fantastic. Their super burritos are awesome as well, but their tacos are what make them famous. the service was ok. I had ordered the carne asada burrito. The meat seemed dry and was obviously not freshly cooked. It came to me cold which was odd to me. The food is very good, truly authentic Mexican!! It's rough looking, and the service is so-so, but it's manageable and the food makes up for it 100%. My family and I typically order 20 tacos for our family of 7 and some nachos for the whole crew. The food is always ready in 20 minutes or less, and it's so good! There's something for everyone to enjoy. We eat food from there at least a few times a month, (and we have been for the last 2 years) and we have never been disappointed. Not once! Lets first start with, i am a server and in the food industry so i know how things are, but i would never return. I live close and have been wanting to come here. Didn't go the first time because at 6 pm they were mopping with bleach and I got a headache when walking in. Now today. Went and ordered. It says " 2 taco tortillas for 2.64" so we asummed. 2 separate tacos for 2.64 right now? No wrong. We got 2 TORILLAS with literally barely any meat and mainly beans. Aftering paying 35$ for 6 tacos and a crappy 'super' burrito (which was tiny), we Asked for chips and salsa, extra $$. Ok. Asked to get a soda. Sorry, has to be a $10 limit. When I just spent 35$ here. My main problem. The workers. I am a server myself. TALK ABOUT RUDE. No one wants to come into a place when you are rude and not welcomed. Not one smile or kindess at all. This place rocks. They grill the taco shells first. The beef and chicken are excellent and don't forget the avocado!

My husband and I ate here once. we had the chorizo breakfast burrito. Taste was ok nothing special and was way over priced for the size. Eggs and potatoes are cheap. So is chorizo. It was a taco Bell sized burrito for $5+. All prices were high. Wouldn't return there. I don't mind paying for something that taste awesome. read more

I Love Ricos Tacos. i have been going here since they opened a few years ago and they never disappoint. Contrary to what others have experienced with the service, I always get good service and enjoy my meal. The Super Burrito does not have rice, which makes it even more tasty than most other places. The tacos are full of meat and avacados, the salsa has so much flavor without burning my tongue, and the beers are always ice cold. The people who gave it bad reviews were probably bad timing or different tastes. As for my wife and myself, we will be customers for life. read more

This was far the worst review I've ever done here's why, I'm also putting his as top reviews so people can see this, it was me and my mom, we ordered a super nachos with carne asada and extra chips and two tacos super. The lady then decides to call another person to the register because she doesn't know how to add extra chips in the recipe. We wait and we noticed the lady had added two cokes in our order which were $2 each and I come back to the register and I tell them we didn't ask for cokes she had said that's Because there is no extra chips so we ignored it so it would cover the extra chips. We got home and my mom opens up the box of nachos and we said no cream or jalapeño and whiteout guacamole, all of the add on's where there and there was no extra chips and a little chips and barely any cheese. My tacos were cold. Not even one single paper napkins available. If this cold go to a negative reviews it would go there. This doesn't even deserve a one star I would give advice to go to super taqueria Bc the foods the exactly the same and same taste. Also Eduardo's pretty good recommend it. The burritos are good too but seem that instead of a small taco they put the same amount of meat in them and fill with extra beans. carne asada super taco is the best!!! I just came to eat some tacos with my Friend today. the service was so rude to us, I order two tacos and I asked to get my meat well done and crunchy and they didn't tell they charge you to do that. They didn't give me the receipt but my friend noticed that they charge me for something extra. So I asked for the receipt and that's when I saw and I asked and the cashier told me that.
