Our BOY OSCAR SERVING THE GOODS
    Ramos2392 ..

My GOOOODDDNNEESSS. This was my first time coming here. Greeted by Oscar our server, literally. The. Best. Guy. Ever!! First thing he asked is if we has any food allergies. As I know someone who has a food allergy this was exceptional service! My lord not to mention his ability to make THE BEST SPICY MARGARITA I've EVER HAD. the food hasent even came out yet and had to write this review. An update to come. UPDATE- Its time for the check and I've eaten dinner and dessert. And I am so bloated to where it feels like i are waaayyyy too much. Mission accomplished But in a serious note, the environment service and food was beyond my expectations. I will for sure come back to this spot for Oscar. Hes been upgraded to Tio Oscar. Thank you mi amigo! Truly an amazing individual inside and out.

Dined here on a friend's recommendation. On a weekday, there was no waiting at aroung 8:15pm and the kitchen takes their last order at 9. The ambience of the restaurant is really good, perfect for a date. The food itself was great but not exceptional. We ordered fruta con chile, veggie grill for individual, enchillada suiza (chicken) and two drinks for 2 people. The portion sizes were enough to be shared by 3-4 people overall so the prices were justified. Choices in vegetarian dishes was really good but there were not enough chicken options. Overall, this is a great find and I'd come here again to try other things.

The ambiance was absolutely beautiful, I loved the whole vibe of the place. Honestly, the staff didn't really match the atmosphere though. With a place that looks this nice, I expected warmer and happier energy from the employees. We tried a few cocktails and I can't remember the names right now, but all of them were really good. The bar itself is amazing. We were happy with all the food overall. The only issue was the guacamole. It had an unnecessary amount of black pepper for no reason and there was no warning about it. Our daughter can't handle spicy food, so that became a bit of a problem. I still don't understand why there was THAT much black pepper in guacamole when we didn't even order anything spicy. I had the chicken enchilada mole because a friend recommended it to me. I liked it, it was really good. I'd definitely go back for the ambiance, and next time I want to try the tacos.

It's been a while since we have been to LUNA and was glad to see nothing has changed. The food is delicious and our favorite server, Anna, greeted us with a warm smile and a hug. Like I said, nothing has changed and that's a good thing. We only wish there was a location in Fremont, we'd be there every week!

We've been wanting to try Luna for so long and we're so happy we were in the shopping center one weekend. There is wonderful outdoor seating that has a really nice intimate ambiance. Our server was so amazing, she was attentive and really welcoming. The frozen margaritas are amazing, especially the prickly pear one. We had tacos that were a really good portion and nice touch. The burritos were filling and flavorful. The beans were very tasty and good quality. We'll definitely be back again.

wanted to go check out what was at the prune yard since I've been to Santana Row more than a gazillion times Such a great location with not that many people around, low-key area inside a upscale feel mall The service here was awesome. Food came out relatively quick and since my girlfriend was allergic to jalapeño, they gave us three sauces to try without it. The drinks here were also awesome. Will more than likely come back in the future

Came here on a Thursday night for dinner. No reservations are available as far as I know. We waited about 45 minutes, but they text you when your table is ready, which makes it manageable. The inside is dimly lit with a fun and buzzy vibe. We got the guacamole as the starter. Honestly one of the best I've had. It was creamy, salty, and the tortilla chips had this nice grainy texture that worked really well with it. For the main, got the salmon tacos. Good portion of salmon. The sauce was salty with a slight sour taste. Nothing too notable, but was great. Came with a side of beans. Finished with the churros. Exactly what you'd expect a churro to be like. Everything tasted really fresh. Staff was super friendly and genuinely helpful with the menu.

We started with the chips, salsa, and guacamole, which were fresh and a great way to begin the meal. The yellowtail crudo was light, refreshing, and had a nice spicy kick that made it especially memorable. I also tried the veggie taco with mushrooms, which was flavorful, satisfying, and a great vegetarian option. The steak salad was hearty and well balanced, with nicely cooked steak and fresh greens. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the sunny atmosphere made it an especially enjoyable lunch spot. Luna is a great place to relax, share a few plates, and enjoy a meal that feels both casual and a little elevated. Service could be more attentive since it was a busy lunch time. The atmosphere was bright and relaxed, which made it a great lunch spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

I ate at Luna for the first time recently with a friend and overall I would say the food was very good and the service not so good. We had the ceviche, which was excellent except for an excess of avocado (but the flavors were delicious). We also had the enchilada suiza and that, too, was very good. The guacamole was tasty and the chips were good as well. All in all, the food was definitely a plus, the Restaurant itself was lovely - we sat outside since it was a beautiful day. We got there early given that you cannot make a reservation and that worked out well. Our waiter was not in a great mood and acted annoyed with any question that we asked particularly when we asked about the cola because it was a label with which we were not familiar. He seemed to find that very irritating. For some reason halfway through the meal, he had a personality transplant of some sort because he became not only civil, but pleasant. Possibly he saw me photographing the food and realized I might be reviewing the meal. In any case he ended on a better note. Yes, I would return!

I had a lovely lunch here today with my friend. She had recommended Luna for our lunch outing. Luna is located in Campbell, in the Pruneyard shopping center. This was my first time here, and I was really impressed. I had arrived first, so I approached the check-in area out front and requested a table for two. The staff at the booth were very friendly and welcoming. Luckily, they had a table for two ready, and a young lady escorted me inside. They had indoor and outdoor seating available. I chose to sit inside because I was cold. I was given a breakfast and lunch menu to look at while I waited for my friend to arrive. Our waiter came by and brought chips and two different salsas and cold water. I let him know I was waiting for my friend. He was very kind and let me know he'd come back once my friend arrived. The restaurant inside is huge. They can accommodate a lot of people. There is also outdoor patio seating and an outdoor bar. I loved all the options on the menu. There were many things I was considering trying. I am currently on Lent and have given up all meat, except fish, until Easter. They do offer a few vegetarian items as well as fish and seafood. My friend arrived not long after I was checking out the menu. Our waiter came back and took our order. He asked if we had any allergies or diet restrictions. I let him know about my pescatarian diet for Lent, and he said they could accommodate me with any requests or substitutions. I was able to order the enchiladas with shrimp instead of chicken. I got one with the red sauce and one with the green sauce. He made sure the beans I got were vegetarian. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. My friend ordered the steak salad. It was a little loud inside the restaurant, but my friend and I were still able to hear each other and catch up on things. Our order arrived and everything looked amazing. I loved my shrimp enchiladas. Both the red sauce and green sauce were so delicious. I also enjoyed the vegetarian pinto beans and verde rice. My friend enjoyed her salad and her steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. The chips and salsas were also very good. One salsa was a green Serrano salsa and the other one was a mild red salsa. Both were fresh and delicious. Before we left, we saw two employees making fresh tortillas, inside, close to where you exit the restaurant. Now I know why my tortillas in my enchiladas tasted so good. They make them fresh all day. Our experience here today was just amazing. I really enjoyed my meal and appreciated the personalized customer service. I look forward to coming back again soon.

Had lunch at Luna with a friend today. It's been a year since I ate there. We ate inside rather than the patio because it was cold today. While it was comfortable inside, it was also very loud. The place was super busy but there was no wait for a table at 11:30am on a Saturday. Our waiter provided excellent service and our food came out fast. I had the skirt steak salad, same thing I had a year ago, and it was even better than I remembered. They cooked the steak medium rare, as I requested, and it was tender and flavorful. I loved the salad mixture with roasted corn, avocado slices, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, and mixed greens. I also enjoyed my bottle of Mexican Coke. My friend had two shrimp enchiladas, one suiza and one roja. It looked delicious and she said she really liked it. She was also impressed by the restaurant's willingness to make substitutions and accommodate special diet needs. I hope to go back to Luna soon.

Cochinita Pibil is other-worldly. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. One of the tastiest things I've had in ages. Tried a bunch of other things too, and they were good. The drinks were fine as well but I came here just to write about the cochinita pibil

Great vegan and vegetarian options. They give chips to every table, and they seem to be made in-house. I normally try to avoid chips and deep-fried foods, but these were delicious! There was also a creamy green sauce for dipping, along with a medium-spicy salsa. I ordered the veggie burrito. It was tasty--there weren't any particularly unique elements, but I was looking for a fresh, tasty veggie burrito, and it satisfied that craving. I also ordered the horchata, which was delicious. My partner ordered the carne asada taco and loved it. He said it set a new standard for Mexican food in the Bay--especially for tacos at a sit-down restaurant. This spot will now be top of mind when I think of Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area. My partner also got the protein bowl, which was hearty and came with well-grilled chicken. They gave us a side of habanero sauce that was very spicy--so definitely use it with caution. They use high-quality ingredients and incorporate many organic foods into their dishes. The service was impeccable--Luis was our server, and he was fast, efficient, and extremely attentive. We had a great time and would definitely come back in the evening to try some of their cocktails!

Does their indoor bar have table seating, or just barstools?

Do they still not take reservations? Also, does your whole party have to be present to be seated? I have heard that is the case at Luna.

No they don't take reservations just go to Luna and wait to be seated by either the waiter or waitress

    How long is wait time?

Thank you for thinking of us! Currently the wait is approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Please note, wait times are busier than usual due to the holiday.

Is this the former El Burro just a new Restaurant? If so, the ambiance doesn't resemble anything like the original; However, I want to know if the food is the same? Anyone?

Yes it is. It actually has a casual Michelin star. More modern than traditional but food and drink are solid. Great outdoor seating too.

    Do they take reservations?

    They do not take reservations.

If it rains is the outdoor patio area still open?

    Yes

Do they have happy hour? If so, what days and times? There are several mentions of happy hour in the reviews, but no info about that on the website.

Are we allowed to bring in our own cake?

Hi do you have piña coladas?

The only one i see is the SPICY PIÑA but no Pina coladas on the menu.

Are the gluten free menu items Celiac-Safe (no cross-contact in your kitchen and the suppliers) or more for someone choosing a gluten free diet?

This is a question that you should really email them directly. Bon appétit

How long is the wait on Sunday at 12:30 for 6 people outside?

I would anticipate at least 1-1.5hrs wait. That place gets cracking on the weekend and they don't take reservations

How long is the wait for a party of 5 or 6 on a Friday evening? We are aiming for 6:30, so what time should I get there to put my name down?

Make a reservation if you can! It gets insanely busy in weekend evenings. Large parties are also more difficult to seat. But if you decide to chance it... id go about an hour early!

Hi my friends ! This is a great looking eatery. May I ask if this is the location of the former El Burro restaurant ? If so, the vibes are the best :-) Thanks and cheers !

Yes same occasion and opened up a little more on the inside, nice atmosphere.

    How is the horchata?

Horchata is well made - not watery like some places

Are small dog allowed on outdoor seating?

We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another

When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.

Very small parking lot, I recommend parking at the next plaza over if there isn't any parking avail. The restaurant is pretty small, but the ambiance is aesthetically cute and clean-looking. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The dishes we got were; - French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs - Millionare's Bacon Sampler - Francis Skillet - Hemingway Benedict - Blueberry Mochi Waffles The Millionare's bacon sampler was rlly good, I can see why Sweet Maple is famous for it. It was a good balance of the candied and savory taste. I would order this again to share. The other dishes were good too, but nothing special. I did enjoy the brussel potato medley on the side, which was unique compared to other brunch spots. Overall, good brunch spot, will be back again
