    West Coast Salmon

Aqui Campbell never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the food is consistently solid. If you're not sure what to order, I'd definitely recommend the West Coast Salmon. Overall, it's a relaxed spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

I've always really enjoyed coming to Aqui after checking out their other locations in the South Bay. They have a pretty decent plant-based menu with items that can be made vegan, which gives someone like me a lot of choices to pick from. For lunch, I ordered their Cauliflower Bowl and subbed out the dairy for a mango dressing that was vegan. I also ordered a side of their black bean dip which was a standout at the other location. The staff were so friendly and took the time to look through their official allergen menu to make sure my meal was fully plant-based. The cauliflower dish was an excellent decision. Crispy veggies over a bed of cilantro rice with beans, pico, avocado, etc. made this a wonderful lunchtime meal. My black bean dip also proved to hold up and I enjoyed it with their tortilla chips. I also really appreciate how affordable pricing is here compared to the rest of the South Bay. My bowl was less than $15 and the side dip was $8, and with everything being sharable, I left like I had gotten a great deal. Venue wise, this shop is probably my favorite of the locations I've frequented. Lots of open seating, beautiful decor, and a clean restaurant make this a great spot to dine in or out.

We used to come to Aqui in Campbell all the time but after a probably 5+ year absence, I recently came back. It was as busy and fun as ever, and the food tasted as fresh and happiness-inducing as a crisp springtime morning. I had forgotten how much I like their menu, including and especially with all their veggie-forward options. No swirl for me - just good food. Will add Aqui back to the rotation.

Service and Food is always consistently Great here! And the Swirls are always on hit :)

Got the adobo chicken, specialty bowl and a couple swirl drinks which is a must! Bamboo straws, iykyk

Aqui Cal-Mex always delivers, but this visit really hit. I usually go straight for their burrito, but this time I switched it up and tried the Adobo chicken bowl and it was fire. Perfect balance of flavor, hearty without feeling heavy, and layered in a way that keeps every bite interesting. We also ordered two margaritas and they did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and exactly what you want when you're settling in for a relaxed night out. The space itself is really well designed. The sectional bar layout gives it energy without feeling cramped, and there are plenty of little pockets and seating areas so you can choose your vibe, whether you want bar-top action or something more tucked away. Great flow, great food, great drinks.

Had been to farmers market on a Sunday. Decided to have lunch at familiar aqui. It never disappoints. Usually good Feels healthier with do many veggies if you order the right dishes. Got avacado roasted corn bowl which was pretty good with so many veggies. Also Thai peanut organic tofu was pretty good. Similar veggies. But this had mango grapes etc as well. Would recommend this place

We were in downtown Campbell and was looking around the area for a lunch spot that we could walk to. We decided to go with Aqui Cal-Mex, since they had an outdoor patio for our dog. There are a couple of registers at the front to order at and they'll give you a buzzer once you pay for the order. The self service sauce bar was nice, I got three sauces on the side to try. They have quite a large menu, I decided to go with the adobo chicken lime-avocado bowl. The bowl was decent, it was a good portion of food and everything tasted good. Overall, it was a decent spot for lunch. However, it's not a restaurant that I would go out of my way for. 3.5 stars.

Loveeee aqui's. They are great for a casual dinner or catch up with friends. The food is so tasty and well balanced with veggies. My go to is the crab cake enchiladas or the crab cake bowl (anything with the crab cake!). Of course you have to get a swirl too. They have 6 oz or 12 oz options. My favorite so far has been the coconut strawberry soju swirl. Service is fast and friendly. There is ample seating but they do get busy during the weekend for dinner.

It's good average Mexican food. Nice to visit if you're in the area, but nothing I would go out of my way for. I've never been to Taco Bell, but even my daughters said TB's crunch menu item is way better than Aqui's. So that might tell you something!

    Pork Carnitas Burrito
    Patricia R.

I typically come here for their swirlies, which are great and strong! However, I do enjoy their food sometimes because they give you big portions and they are not too heavy. The items I've tried do not use a lot of oil. I got the pork carnitas burrito with their soup of the day, which was a tortilla soup. The staff is very kind, they clean up after you eat even though you order and pick up at the front. There's plenty of seating and in a nice location in downtown Campbell.

Chicken salad, small scoop of avocado, lettuce, beans, add my own salsa
    Helen L.

Darn GPS was leading me in a circle. I wanted to go to the Good Salad. It was pouring rain. I gave up, parked inside the nearby parking structure to come here. Order first and get a buzzing pager. I was hungry and ordered the chicken salad. Comes with beans and small scoop of avocado. I was extremely happy to see the condiment bar. I love their salsa so I took a few scoops of that. Found a seat and waited for the buzzer to go off. Fast service. Salad was big, so saved half. But all lettuce welted the next day.

    Sal E.

Cowboy Salad - Excellent Lime Avocado Salad - Excellent Service - Upbeat Ambiance - Great Swirls - both got stuck in the paper straws. So much so that one slipped onto the table then onto the floor. Whaaaat is going on with the swirls tonight? At least the food coordinator replaced the 90% full (brought the abundance of yellow saturated napkins and what remained in the cup to show him I wasn't trying to exaggerate!

Located in the beautiful Campbell downtown right beside the bustling Farmers Market on Sunday. No frills restaurant with spacious interiors including dining and bar area. The Special meal of the Day keeps it fun. After placing the order, we were given the buzzer that alerts us to pick up the order. We were pleasantly surprised to receive our order in just a few minutes. Loved the variety of sauces available especially Mango Habanero and roasted salsa. The counter staff recommended Adobo Chicken which was quite tasty including the cilantro rice.

Do they have Happy Hour? If so, what days and times?

Does the Campbell location have Happy Hour?

No unfortunately they do not. However prices are very reasonable.

    How is parking?

It can be tough on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other than that you should be able to find parking without stress. Monday-Thursday there is ample street parking. Most people usually park in the garage nearby.

Does it get pretty busy on Sunday, Monday, Wed or Thursdays at 6 pm? Planning a casual post-work meetup that could have 30 ppl showing up and would like to plan if there will be enough room/tables for us to sit together. Thank you.

We were there tonight, on a Monday around 5 to 6pm and it wasn't busy at all. Closer to 6pm more people start trickling in, but. no where near as busy as later in the week. Thursdays it tends to get busier, especially if it's nice weather.

What kind sugars are used in the swirls and frozen drinks?

Is this a sit down restaurant where you have a server/waited in or do you order up front and wait for number to be called?

Hello Lauren, Aqui is a order at the counter restaurant. We give you a pager and when your food…

Are dogs allowed to sit on the patio?

Officially, no. But, I used to bring my dog all the time. Just keep in mind the patio gets super crowded. 👍🏼

We'd ask for things like salt, water, and limes and were given attitude. We asked for knives for a party of 3, our waitress brought us one. I asked for additional take-out containers, that seemed to bother her quite a bit. And the coffee -- it's so good we asked for the recipe. It has that Mexican café de olla cinnamon flare, and they shared that they add orange peels too (the waitress even tipped us off that Costco carries a premix version, Café de Olla, if you want a taste at home -- but nothing beats theirs). THE CHIPS. Oh, the chips -- I dream about these chips. Made in house and fried to perfection, served with a green salsa that never fails to burn my tongue because it's so spicy, and yet I keep going back for more. The enchiladas are amazing too -- I usually get the beef -- with an house-made sauce where you can actually taste the tomatoes, onions, and spices. The beef salad is another good one, very refreshing. My friends have ordered the tabletop grill with meat and seafood, and it looks incredible -- that's next on my list. Service is extremely friendly. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and I love sitting outside on a warm day at the Pruneyard. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. I tried the popular baleada, which is a home-made flour tortilla filled with a layer of mashed red beans, queso fresco, eggs and with or without meat (I got it with carne asada). The flour tortilla was just as other described - soft, buttery smooth, almost melt in your mouth goodness. The carne asada was dry and hard so I could've gone without. I bet a braised beef like barbacoa would've been perfect for this item. It also came with salsa and I selected mild which gave it a nice bright flavor. I also ordered a chicken tamale (they also offer pork) and I was surprised to find a whole chicken wing (no skin) stuffed into the tamale! I broke into it using a fork and hit something hard which turned out to be the bones. But honestly, this was one of the best tamales I've tried in a long time. Flavorful, moist, and a nice sized portion. It came wrapped in what I think was banana leaf. The service was fast on a Wednesday night and there were a handful of friendly patrons seated nearby. You could tell that they were regulars. The space was intimate with around 10-15 tables seating about 4 people each. Maya's Cafe menu has a wide assortment of dishes to choose from: serving breakfast dishes like chilaquiles, lunch items such as burritos, or soups and full on dinner plates with rice, beans, and choice of protein. There's even more selection and the whole menu is in Spanish so I'll be sure to use Google Translate next time!
