Found this truck due to Instagram recommendations. You'll see it off of 529 Rd, a few miles from 290 in the Cypress area. Tacos are tasty and everything is prepared in front of you. It'll take about 10-15 minutes depending on the orders in front of you but it's worth it. Favorite meats are the trompo, campechanos (pork & beef combo), tripa, and longaniza (sausage). Tacos are good flavor although a bit smaller than what I'm used to from other taco trucks. Best value is the gorditas which are filling and good meat/cheese ratio with some lettuce/peppers involved. Cash only but they accept Zelle/Cash App. Will need to try other dishes such as their quesabirria, flautas, and sopes. The team is efficient in taking your order and getting you your eats. They also speak english if you're worried about the language barrier. read more

Can't remember the last time I went to a taco truck but so glad I was recommended by a friend to try this one! We actually went together for dinner and they have a covered seating area where you can eat there. Convenient! Friendly!...and quick service! For someone like me, I don't know which ones are the good food trucks, so I will admit I'm a bit weary and hesitant to try one unless someone recommends one! The photo with the cotija cheese I don't know what type of meat is on there and what the tacos plate is called, but they are essentially crispy beef tacos! Super delish, crispy shell, and fresh cheese on top! I ordered the regular fajita tacos and that was also yummy as well! A good bargain for your hunger pains! Solid taco choice. Very few times I order beef because they are usually over cooked but I took a shot and ordered a combination of beef, pork, chicken and combination. The best for sure are the beef and combination for sure. Very chill spot to just come get some tacos. They have a little spot outside to just sit and chill and enjoy some good tacos. The two lady's kept checking in on my brother and I and they where awesome. My brother got a quesadilla that loaded with meat and cheese. really good trompo, tacos, and horchata. Salsa was very spicy but the green ones are tolerable especially the chunky one. Their horchata was sweet i loved it. Food was phenomenal. It took me longer to go to the gas station to get drinks than it did for the food to be ready. We've eaten here many times now. When we're wanting tacos this usually the place we end up at. Their tacos are very good, side of grilled onions which makes it even better. We also usually get the tacos dorados de papá and they are exceptionally delicious. You need to get them. Wow yeah those are just awesome. The horchata us also very good and fresh. The service is great and fast. They also do churros at different times, usually later, and they are so yummy. Everyone needs to get this place. Cash only. First time here- Paid $9 for 3 TINY tacos. Not worth it in my opinion. When the cashier was ringing me up, I asked if he included cilantro and onion he said no, but he could. I asked if he gave me lime, he said no but he would. & I asked if it comes with beans ?? He said no but he can give me some. why wouldn't you include cilantro and onion? This is all basic stuff you should be putting in my bag regardless. This place is not organized at all. I asked for cheese on my tacos and it's burnt. Stopped by Friday night after doing a search on tripa tacos. Reviews sounded good so off I went. There was not a line when I arrived. Tripa tacos $2.50 each. I also ordered a fajita torta. Here are my personal thoughts on the tripa tacos. Was a little disappointed. They were chewy and not crunchy at all. They needed to be cooked longer yet still tasty. Unfortunately most places don't cook it right because it's very time consuming and it has to be cooked slowly until they get crunchy. Also, everything is cooked pretty heavy in lard - including onions . As a result food is very greasy. Green and red salsa was delicious and spicy. Fajita torta was $8 and just okay. Overall I would not go back. I just wasn't impressed and not worth the drive for me. I had certain expectations of how the tripas would taste and they did not deliver. I mean they should know better !. Tripas should get cooked until crispy for what they charging . They got lazy and lost a future customer . read more

Just tried this place two weeks ago and have been back 6 times since then... I know i have a problem but trust me this place makes tacos right! They give you exactly what you want in a taco for only 1 dollar even though they are snack sized tacos it gives you the opportunity for variety. My favorite is the trumpo but i also love the carnitas and fajita. Im a usual love of green sauce but you gotta try there other salsas perfect amount of spice and not too salty. $1 tacos say what?!? AND FREE BEANS?!? They're definitely snack sized though. Pretty good but not my favorite. Ordered carnitas, fajita, pastor, and longaniza. They also offer shrimp which isn't common. My favorite was the carnitas. We got 8 tacos for $8 and it was a pretty decent snack we snuck into the movie theaters. They have a salsa bar on the edge with fresh salsa to dress your goodies. The best part is it's DOLLAR TACOS! Tiny tacos but their only a dollar but packed with so much flavor. I got flour tortillas instead of corn for some reason and while it was good the corn tacos my gf got were better.
