I was interested in purchasing a Kawasaki Ninja for my wife at this dealership. On the morning of 02 OCT 23 I called the dealership right when they opened and started the financing process. Spoke with James during that time - getting identification and other paperwork taken care of to proceed with the purchase. Mind you, before I did any of this- I specifically "reserved" the bike through their website for Friday 06 OCT 2023 for pick up. Aside from speaking and texting multiple people throughout the day (James and Robert specifically), it ended with someone calling me after 3 PM telling me they would send me a DocuSign contract to my email to pretty much lock in my purchase. I never got the form, so an hour or so later I called and someone informed me that they "must of gotten busy" and that they would get to it ASAP. That evening I never got the form, so the next day, 03 OCT 2023 I called shortly after they opened- a little after 9 AM and spoke with a Sergio. I informed him that I never received the purchasing contract for the bike I had already taken off Friday to pick up. I explained to him that they already ran my credit- approved my application and I was waiting for the contract via email but never got it the night before like I was told I would. He then put me on hold to check on the status and came back quickly saying that the bike had been sold last night. Not only did this dealership waste my time and give me a hard credit hit for nothing, but Sergio also made it a point to say he would call me back and try to find me another one from another dealership to make the situation right. Did that happen though? No. No it did not. So to recap, I spent the whole Monday while at work; going through the finance process answering text messages and phone calls, "reserving" a bike via their website (which clearly is an absolute waste of time/joke), made work plans to take off Friday so I could be there at 9 AM to pick up the purchased bike, and reserved a trailer specifically for that day so I could tow it home. The mind blowing thing about this whole situation is, no one there had the decency to even call to inform me of the situation. So had I just waited till Thursday to go pick up the trailer and then drive down Friday with the assumption the bike was sold to me- well I would of been completely mistaken when I arrived to find out it sold that Monday- that very same Monday I did all that planning to someone else. I very rarely make it a point to get on an account to specifically leave a review, but this situation clearly warranted this. The way this shop conducts business is beyond a joke. There is no reserving anything here clearly, so don't waste your time trying to do so on their website. And if you learned anything from my situation, even going through the complete process of having your credit ran for nothing doesn't even guarantee you the bike - even after you call back multiple times to finish the paper work for the sale. I strongly encourage other people seeking a new bike to explore different options- because this place is beyond fixing. read more

Not only is it the perfect height for a short bitch like you, but its Morello Red so one can only assume the bike has been personally blessed by His Majesty Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. ALSO ITS A GREAT PRICE. Like, what type of magic kingdom is this place?? If you ask me, RideNow Austin isn't a motorcycle shop so much as a visit to Moirai of ancient myths. I worked with Evan to buy a street bike and that kid was unresponsive, incompetent, and acted like he couldn't care less to be there each time I dealt with him. The whole transaction resulted in me waiting for him and the sales manager to send me paperwork to sign. They never did despite me calling daily for my purchase paperwork. My husband and I bought a brand new 2025 Polaris 570 in October. That process was great. Salesman was nice and professional. Did take longer than I liked but I was ok with it because we were excited about getting it. That was a Saturday and due to it being close to closing time they said they would have it ready Monday by 4pm. My husband drove 45 mins one way to pick it up. They hadn't even started on it to have it ready for us. We get it home. Parked in under cover, and the following Saturday we went to load it up it would start and die, Start and die. So we took it back to the shop.. They had it for couple days said it was a bad spark plug. Mind you they documented it had 1 hour on it when we dropped it off and when we picked it up. but also documented they let it run for a while to make sure it wouldn't duplicate the problem. ( it had 3.5 hours on it when we picked it back up.) Now we had to take back to shop for same issue of starting and dying right before xmas. when we dropped it off it had 4.4 hours on it. So the dealership has put more hours on it, the problem keeps happening. This time loose ground wire. So the 2 other times they were supposed to check it they never saw that. they can't even take the 2 mins it takes to type up correct documentation. why would I think they are doing their job not in a hurry. We were going to buy a dirt bike for our son for Xmas but deciding against it due to all the problems in just 2 months. read more

I recently bought a motorcycle from these guys and came away with the conclusion that: 1. They deserve the 2 1/2 star rating they have 2. They really don't care about the 2 1/2 star rating they have based on how they conduct business The first thing I noticed when asking to see the OTD numbers for bike was a $871.00 "dealer assembly/set up" charge. This was a used bike with 614 miles on it. Obviously Ride now did not have to assemble the bike. Also, an $871.00 set up fee is beyond ridiculous for a used bike with 614 miles on it. When I balked and stated that it was a deal breaker, they reduced the charge by $800.00...because they knew the charge was bogus and could not justify it. I would not recommend "Ride Now" to anyone at this point. There are other dealers in the area that are much more honest and trustworthy. The only positive thing these guys have in their favor is a very nice inventory. read more

Just be aware that there are other dealers who will have better deals. For example, a dealer in the Dallas area had an out the door price on a Z125Pro of $3100 for a ProKRT. Woods was $3700 out the door on the base model (which is $200 lower MSRP). Eric (floor manager) did not offer any movement on their price. I'd have paid more than the Dallas dealer to save the drive, but they're around $800 too high. Another comment about their accessories department. When I was in with my son looking at bikes they didn't know I am an experienced rider and new I was buying a first bike for my 15 year old. They told us that you need to spend no less than $1500 on helmet, gloves, jacket, and boots if you want to be safe. You certainly can spend that much or more, but that's really not the floor to have safe gear. I felt they were trying to convince a novice father to spend more money. We spent around 1/3 that at a couple of other shops. If you don't mention cost or getting a good deal as a factor, Woods is great. Hugh amount in stock and they're happy to sell it to you. read more

Remember the childhood movie Matilda? Well, go down to Ridenow Austin if you want to have a Harry Wormwood (Danny Devito) experience. 1. Told me they did a complete service/inspection on the bike. 2. Charged an $800 set up fee for a used bike. (Stated its what an inspection cost) 3. Changed the out the door price after driving 6hrs 4. Said they changed the air filter 5. Said they installed brand new battery 6. Said the tires were brand new 7. Did not let me inspect the bike beyond what I could see on the show room floor or pictures online. 8. Zero owner history or any reasons why the forks and triple tree had tool marks on the bolt heads. 9. Chain and rear wheel wasn't aligned 10. Brake rotor had heat marks from contacting the pads due to this mis aligned rear wheel. After purchase of course I check all these. And guess what the air filter was not changed and the battery is damaged but they did blamed the previous owner. This company placed blame on someone else instead of admitting the lied about installing a new battery in the first place or honoring the LIFETIME BATTERY package I bought. If they had of inspected the battery then they would of noticed the fkn stripped out threads for the seat bolts. Either you turds stripped it or you never inspected the battery so either way you're a bunch of . Lifetime battery is a horseshit. You have to wait 180 days from purchase date and bring them the battery to test. They did not mention any of that when I bought it due to un trained salesmen. Management knew that and used it to their advantage. Service at ride now is not so great. If you make an appointment and you think it's going to get done that day, you will be mistaken. Each time we bring in Polaris for service it is 2 to 3 days to do the 50, 100 hour service. Parts is a joke. I went in for motul oil chain cleaner, chain lube, Yamaha oil filter and gasket for drain plug. As I'm draining my oil and try replacing gasket I find out they gave me the wrong crush washer. I go back to get the right one and they tell me I was never billed for one and I can purchase one. Am I crazy or where's the customer service for my inconvenience?? How is it my fault I asked for the product and they didn't bill me properly and then gave me the wrong product.!? Hello everyone, wanted to give y'all my honest opinion on this dealership and how they service your bikes. I bought a 2016 Kawasaki ninja 1000 around beginning of March and ever since I've been having problems, second day of ownership my clutch cable spanned on me in the middle of the highway, got that part for free from "ride now". And here the things hit the fan I decided to check the motorcycle myself and found the air-filter box filled with a bunch of nasty things (pic attached). This made me wonder about the spark plugs checked those also they were not new as I was told when the bike was purchased. (Had to fix everything my self, after that I had serious doubts that their mechanics are even doing anything or can do anything). After this incident I went to "ride now Austin" to ask them what is that, and I told them I want the motorcycle fully repaired as if they were fixing a used motorcycle that was traded in (this process went on for 2 weeks) , I was told by Mark in the service department that everything will be fixed. Next day I came in to pick it up Mark was not there (possibly avoiding me, and the sales person Elliot who sold me the motorcycle was looking away from me and it seemed like was trying to avoid eye contact with me) and there I found out that the bike was in perfect condition although the antifreeze level was lower than should be and the brake fluid is dark for the front brakes (rear is a bit lighter) . After that I wasn't able to ride my bike since I was out of town for work for quite some time. And recently I decided to change the oil and the filter for it. Comes out that ride now mechanics were severely wrong about the oil being good when I drained it had a burning sense and was all brown. Even found a few metal scraps at the bottom and the fork is having condensation on it, makes me wonder does the bike I bought actually has 10k miles or ride now sold me a bike that had a mile stopper on it because the motor also has an unexplainable sound to the right of the motor I'm having doubts that this is it's true milage read more

Wow. An atrociously bad experience. I saw a bike I was interested in advertised online. I stopped in to inquire about the price since it was a bit high compared to identical models nearby. You don't need my address. You don't need my Drivers License (I am not asking to test drive it- only your price). You might need my phone number but certainly not my email address. WTAF? You don't need to make small talk. You don't need to wait for a supervisor's approval. Give me a number. Hint: guys in their 40's and 50's are often cash buyers. When we ask for a price, all you gotta do is give a price. No high pressure sales pitch. No need for a credit card number or license just to give a price. Figure how much you have in the bike plus expected profit. There was another middle aged man I saw there get the same treatment. He also left without buying. He looked serious too. He looked like he had money. I walked out and said to call me with a price. Manager (Filipe) calls and leaves a message. He wasted a lot of breath on the message but still won't give a price. I spoke to a salesperson on the phone regarding ordering a Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 base model. I was told that they could get one in 4 to 8 weeks so I made an offer and the individual stated that it would have to be a manager decision so I should come in and talk to him. I asked for the salesperson's name that I was speaking with and he pretty much blew me off when he stated, "well we have plenty of sales people so you can just talk to whom ever is available when you come in". I was thrown off by that statement as what type of salesperson does not want to make a sale? I got the impression that they were trying to pull the old bait and switch scheme. Regardless, I made an appointment and went down to discuss ordering a unit based on the offer I made. When I walked in I was guided to a salesperson by the name of Mike and told him what I would like to do. He then explained that they had no idea when the next units would come in and that I would have to pay the retail price. Immediately, I could tell this person was very inexperienced. My response was, "So you expect a customer to pay retail price with the understanding that you have no idea when it will be in?" At that point he did not respond and I just walked away and left. I was in and out in less than 10 mins because they were not interested in customer service, especially if you want to order a unit. All they are interested in is selling you what is on the floor. it is some what humorous when you consider that the MSRP on these units is simaliar to purchasing a car but they are not willing to negotiate the price. I have never had to pay MSRP for anything and do not intend to start now. The person I spoke to on the phone actually text me back after the fact to see if I dropped by. I explained how it was a big waste of my time. He apologized and reaffirmed that I could receive a unit in 4 to 8 weeks if I was still interested. I bought TWO brand new Can-Am Ryker Rally's less than a week ago. I have yet to ride one because it had a bad battery. I notified my salesman and 24 hours later I was told to come to the shop and exchange the battery. Well I took the battery off and took it into the shop. Low and behold, there was NO battery ready and waiting for me. A new battery was brought to me. I needed to re-install but I could not! The battery was not exactly the same therefore I could not install on my own. Again I reached out to my Saleswoman and I did not hear back for a full 24 hours. I also called the main number and got no answer. So now 41 hours after I could not install the battery, I have absolutely no resolution. I have spent too much money to be ignored and given such bad service. I guess they only wanted my signature on those papers and not a long-term satisfied customer.
