Here is an update on my latest experience with this dealer. I happy to say that it was alot better in person then over the phone. I did get to test the bike I wanted to not on the ride I would have liked to but I did get a enough to know that I would like to get it if I can work it out. It turns out that they are not the only dealer that has this policy wich make more sense to me now so thats why I wanted to give it a go again and glad I did . I feel regretful that I had left the last review on them , they were very helpful and willing to earn my business. I going to try hard to make this deal but if not on this bike then another at a later date but I know for sure it will be this model. I will be going back to these guys first . We have been using NCHM for our parts since you first opened and we have used your service department for a few years now. We have been mostly satisfied. We had our vehicle in the service last month and one of your employees ran into a trash dumpster with our newly powdercoated bumper. We said nothing, it was minor damage and we didn't want to rock the boat. This week is the most disgusting I have ever felt as customer by a company in along time. My $65,000 Can-Am was left out in the pouring rain all day yesterday. It came to my attention by a friend of mine that was dropping his car off for service. Maybe I am anal about my personal vehicles and I understand that your company may not have enough storage for all vehicles during business hours. However, it would behoove your company and your staff to take just a little bit of initiative and to possibly attempt to cover a vehicle with expensive electronics, expensive seats and expensive suede steering wheel. Even without having access to a cover or tarp, it would be appreciated to at least receive a phone call informing me that our vehicle is going to be left out to rust and be soaked with water and dirt while sitting outside your company. We would have came to pick up the car immediately to reduce the amount of cleaning, rust and mud the car would experience while sitting in the rain. In addition, the nonchalant attitude your employees had about this situation is unfathomable. Since your company lacks common decency in regards to customer service we will be taking all future business elsewhere and in addition we will no longer refer your company to any our wide network of offroad acquaintances.  I wish your company success in the future and hope you change your policies. They are really good at lying. We were talked into to buying thier useless warranty. They were good at pushing that and hiking the price up at time of sale after a different price was discussed in parking lot. Realized we bought a 2020 lemon, was told the vehicle had a complete inspection done and checked out good. After getting it home, the air in tires was so low, i had to fill all. Within a month, it was one thing after another breaking down, now i have a useless broken down vehicle sitting here that RideNow doesnt want to fix. Over $14,000 and less than a month later, it breaks down, they say, they have no idea when they can get to it to fixed, maybe a couple months?? The GM won't return calls. Went in to look at a bike with an MSRP of 5,400, was quoted almost 10,000 out the door price. I laughed and walked out. They prey on new buyers or people who don't read an itemized breakdown of the cost. Buyer beware. I went to another dealership and bought a bike with a 12,000 msrp for 10,000 out the door. There are much better places to buy from that don't up-charge with hidden fees and added dealer markup. I get there to RN and they hit me up with a freight charge of $600 and a few others which brought the total to $2500, WTH, for. PW50!!!! Nahim from RN tells me he will check but that this is the last bike and it hot, $600 to put the bike together is the normal charge. He leave and comes back and starts putting the bike away like that cheap trick will influence me. Nahim tells me they can only come down $50. That's when we part ways. I call up Motoworld in El Cajon and they offer me $1700 OTD. I go down and pick up the bike and mention the $600 fright and the sales and financing guy says the is a outrageous add on fee, they couldn't believe RN was charging that much for a PW50. read more

Buyer beware, very shady business practices: They advertise one price to get you in the door, they then tack on a few thousand dollars worth of fees. When asked to explain where the fees come from in a breakdown, the sales girl literally sighed with exasperation as if I was inconveniencing her with wanting to understand the total they want me to pay. They literally refused to provide a breakdown of fees and suggested I buy with a dealership closer to my home when I pressed them for the information. You can't make this kind of sales experience up. I'm guessing the management is unaware that this kind of stuff is going on, but holy crap, this was easily the most unprofessional sales encounter I've had in my entire life. Read the fine print and look over your final numbers carefully so that you are not taken advantage of if you choose to shop here. read more

Bought a bike today. This place is under new management and was a lot more pleasant of a place to purchase a bike from than our previous experiences trying to buy from other dealers. They had the best price for what we were looking for. We did have to wait a little to complete paperwork but it still wouldn't stop us from purchasing from them again. I'm happy that North County House of Motorcycles has changed their business practice because even though they are very close to my house, my husband and I would go to other dealers out of the way due to NCHM pricing. However, today they worked with us on pricing and we will probably purchase future bikes from them. If NCHM would have had the same positive experience two years ago we would have been on our fourth bike with them, instead we bought elsewhere. We went in on 10-14-19 and were ready to purchase approximately $1500 in accessories. The sales representative did not acknowledge us right away, or say hello. That was okay. We didn't mind waiting. We weren't in a hurry. Then when he did acknowledge us, and we asked a question he told us to look around. After that we asked for a filter for our Side by side. And we walked off to help another customer who came in after us. He didn't say anything to us. We waited patiently to be helped. I spent $15,000 of my hard earned money and received a broken down utility vehicle from Ridenow. It had problems from the start, squealing brakes, bogging down when accelerating, and after less 1.5 months of ownership the UTV is blowing oil from the crankcase. Ridenow service has 2+ week wait, too much business, and overwhelmed. I may be wrong but I believe that if you're sold a broken down piece of s***, the seller should do everything in his or her power to repair it within a day or two. This is where Ridenow failed with me. They show no concern and poor customer service. It was recommended by the GM that if I needed it repaired faster to take my vehicle elsewhere? These are the same people who sold the UTV to me less than 2 months ago. So I will go elsewhere and I highly recommend that you do the same.. read more

Dishonest and fraudulent in their business practices. They've supposedly had 3 2023 Kawasaki Mule PRO-FXT ranch Editions advertised online for the past couple of months for $17,599. I visited their Vista location a few weeks ago and they didn't have any. None outside,inside, or in the back around the service areas, or anywhere else. Total waste of time. So, today I looked at their website again and it shows 3 available in Vista, so I check the "check availability" button on their website. I get a response from Pedro saying "oh sure we have them". I responded and said send me a picture because you sure didn't have them 2 weeks ago and I don't want to waste my time. Anyway, he sends a picture. I said great, that is it, now give me the stock number. He sends me a stock number. I said that is the stock number Of a much lower model, the PRO-FXR that shows it is $14,299 online. So, he is trying to bait and switch a completely different model number for $17,599 instead of the $14,299 advertised on their website. Deliberate deception and outright fraud! I called him out and he had no idea what to say. This is obviously how they train their salespeople. So, I start getting phone calls from Vista and I decide to answer. Tim, the "GM" of Ride Now in Vista is on the phone trying to lie his way out of the deal. I said many times, "is what you advertised available for the price advertised"? He kept back peddling and said, uh, yeah, we have it and can sell to you for $17,599 plus transportation fees, taxes, etc. I said, ok, what are these "transportation fees" and he finally said $3450. I said that is ridiculous, it's not mentioned online,and it now puts your 2023 model at the price of a 2024. 2024's are much better because of the 1000cc engine instead of the 800cc in the 2023, better suspension, better lighting, front end fascia, etc. I said I'd be right down and pay $17,599 plus taxes right away but I wouldn't pay the transportation or any other additional fees. Tim wanted to " meet in the middle" and I told him he was crazy, come back in a few days when you're desperate to sell your 2023s. Thing is, I still don't think they have any in stock, so they're trying to sell things they don't have. Very deceptive business practices. If they want to be honest at some point, I'm ready to buy, pay cash, complete the deal, but they are fraudulent all along the way so far. I filed a complaint also with the BEtter Business Bureau (BBB). Nobody should have to go through this crap with any business and I don't understand why anyone would put up with this! read more

I went to get a Bluetooth and intercom device and Diego hooked me up with the Cardo edge, great product. They allowed me to set it myself in store and even had a cushion to sit my helmet on, the sales rep Diego had extensive knowledge of the product and and made the transaction smooth. Purchased a new 2017 Honda Rebel 300! My wife and I went in knowing exactly what bike we wanted, and had checked out Fun Bike Center a couple days before. Our rep Johnny Mac was friendly and knew his stuff, a true industry veteran. I would recommend him to anyone. Having a quote from another shop gives you some purchasing power, and NCHoM made us a counter - offer we were happy with, particularly since the bike literally just came out. I returned back an hour later with my gear and rode it home. A note on buying new bikes. On top of MSRP, you should expect to see destination (determined by Honda), assembly and safety prep, tax, DMV registration. These fees will differ between shops and bikes, but they are pretty standard. Your only wiggle room is off MSRP. Do some research and find the invoice price to see how much room the dealer has. A $10k bike has more than a $4k bike. Amex also costs the dealer more. Know the bike and know how to shop. NCHoM also gives a nice discount off gear with a bike purchase, so we added a new helmet to the bike. Gear selection is a bit limited; most of the large showroom is devoted to actual bikes, so if you need to try a lot of stuff on you might look elsewhere. Chaparrel up in Redlands is huge for that. Was shopping online for lowest prices on new KLR 650. Was told the KLR 650 2018 is last production year and heard from friends that's a great bike for Dual Sport riding and some adventure riding. I'm a big fan of BMW bikes but didn't want to spend the money if my plans were to do some first time off-roading. I've only been riding BMW street bikes so I wanted a bike that I can take off road. After visiting other dealerships, only NCHM would let me test ride their KLR 650 and they were about $1000 cheaper off MSRP than all the other dealers within a 100 mile radius. However their dealer markup was the most expensive of all the other dealerships I personally visited in the area which ate up the majority of the savings so it's like a cheap trick to get you in. Unfortunately most of these kind of multi-bike carrying stores have separate dealer mark-ups which I wasn't accustomed too (so didn't have much of a choice). Financing was easy but finance will try and stick you with extended warranty and service plans that will easily add over $2500 in additional costs. I said no to it three times and each time they kept discounting those additional plan prices. Eventually I caved in and accepted it. However after looking up Kawasaki online I saw that I could buy those plans later while bike is still under original warranty. I went back to the dealership the next day to cancel. Finance was highly upset. When I got my first statement I noticed those items still weren't removed so now I'm in dispute status. Hopefully this will get resolved and was just a delay from dealer in correcting their paperwork to Kawasaki. However I can't give this dealership 5 stars. The delivery of my new 2018 KLR 650 was poor. During my first ride home the speedometer cable broke off and thus I had to make 2 additional trips 150 miles round trip each time to take care of that item. No bueno. However one of the service personnel was very nice and made sure I was taken care of and very apologetic as this shouldn't of happened and took the time to think outside the box to help me on the spot. On the flip side another service person had an I don't care attitude about the part and nothing he could do. Overall I'm happy with the purchase with the price still being better than other dealerships. I'm not happy with the bike not being quality controlled during assembly to make sure all parts were tightened properly so it would fall off when riding. Also not happy with finance not being on top of taking care of paperwork with me for cancelling the extended warranty and pre-paid service plans. read more

This place has become really shady since switching from "North Country House of Motorcycles" to "RideNow". The sales staff flat out lie to you about the history of the vehicles. I found out they were trying to pass off a used bike as new inventory, with the odometer being more than 500 miles. The warranty had even expired, and they were still trying to sell it as new. My son and I were driving by near closing time and stopped in for a quick walk-through to see their selection of bikes and off-road vehicles. We had planned to purchase a KLR 650 by month's end with a Kawasaki factory incentive we heard about. We were greeted by Logan and got chatting - within a few minutes I made an offer and within 15 minutes we were signing paperwork for the purchase. We picked up the bike the next day after their service department finished the initial set up. I was impressed with both Logan and manager Oscar making the process smooth and fast. I have since moved out of state, and the new state won't accept the temporary registration (which has now twice expired), nor the "Vehicle Registration Inquiry Report" that was emailed from the dealer. This place does not even deserve a one star review. STAY AWAY!! Boyfriend was promised certain discounts off of accessories when he purchased his bike, but we found out as we picked up the accessories a week later that that should not have even been said to us because the amount of discount discussed is never given out! Manager tried to make it right, but there's only so much he can do. DO NOT BELIEVE THE SALESMAN'S LIES HERE. On top of that, he had an appointment for a service on his bike. He stood around for TWO HOURS and noticed that they haven't even started working on his bike. I shudder to think what this would have looked like without an appointment. Would it have taken 5 hours instead? He had to take a Lyft to make it to work on time, and we don't even know when the bike will be done. It is completely ridiculous to me that we have to spend additional time and money when this should have been taken care of at the time we brought it in. WHAT IS THE POINT IN HAVING AN APPOINTMENT? By the time he gets off of work, this place will be closed. Which means, again, he will have to spend extra money to Lyft there tomorrow and pick up the bike. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that will respect your time and money. This place clearly does not. read more
