Called them out to work on my A/C. Once he identified the problem I had two options. Replace the unit or repair it. I went for the repair route and asked for a quote. He gave me a quick one while he was here and I was told he would get back to me with the real one. After a week I hit him up again to get the quote total and set a date. He told me he would contact me on Monday and again I got ignored. He showed up in a mask and booties. And was able to give me a quote prior to the service. I explained to him I needed a 4" hole diameter through stucco to place a dryer vent hose/flashing for an air exhaust for my machine. It cost $85 for it. He came in on a Saturday at 8 am on the dot. He laid cloth over his work area and vacuumed up the mess. Overall we are satisfied with the work he did but wished the hole aligned evenly on both ends, it came out slanted. We contacted Righteous to get a quote for relocating our AC unit from the back of our house to the side of our house. They arrived on time and couldn't have been friendlier. We received quotes from several other businesses, but Righteous beat them out very easily on the numbers. On average, there quote was half the price of the other quotes...easy choice! We are very happy with the job they did. All the hoses and whatnot are covered and look nice and clean. All but one of the other companies we received a quote from said that they couldn't even really cover the cords and that the end product would probably look sort of messy. Excellent service. Chris was the first to respond to my Yelp request for a technician for my AC. He responded within minutes and said he would be able to come out the next day (Sunday) between 12 and 2 PM. He showed up at 12 PM on the dot and was extremely professional and courteous. We shopped around quite a bit...at least 5 consultations with other HVAC installers prior to having Chris come out to give us a quote due to how dissatisfied with our consultations. The first 5 AC companies were clearly just "selling" to us with no real perceived long-term commitment to the work, product, or our satisfaction with such a large purchase. The other AC guys all seemed like your typical contractor too, like they would not be pleasant to deal with should their work be questioned down the road. We have been there and done that and gotten burnt by contractors not willing to back their workmanship or lack there of. Chris came out and besides being the lowest price by far, did not try to "sell" us, and was far from the typical contactor in that he was very personable and informative. We even suggested a higher-end AC unit that he could have made more money from, and he suggested a lower-cost solution and took the time to clearly explain why it was the better solution. He was truly a wealth of knowledge with for the systems he sells and HVAC in general. He and his crew took their time and made sure that no corners were cut.
