I saw a solo roach in my parents' garage. Then my sister saw one. Panic starts about an infestation when we were already dealing with sudden swarming flies that came with kitchen scraps in the green bin. We also have visiting family receiving palliative care so my parents want a worry-free, annoyance-free summer stay for them. My sister found Joe recommended on NextDoor. He's really busy so he called back within a few days and scheduled us right away! He calmed down the infestation worries, gave some ideas on how to keep the flies away from the front door and did a full service on the property. We were probably Joe's most annoying customers of the week because of how squeamish we were about what got stuck in the glue traps and he really went above and beyond. I'd give Joe a million stars if I could. We messaged him through Yelp last night about a wasp nest right outside our front living room window, and he responded within minutes with his phone number for me to call the following day. When I called him this morning, he was so honest and professional. He suggested that this is something we can do on our own and told us where to get the spray. In his own words, he said, "I am not a great salesman." because he was not trying to sell us his service and was honest enough to tell us how to do it and how easy it would be. But his honesty and his expertise made him the BEST salesman. We decided we would rather have him do it for us. Joe was able to squeeze us in same day and he came on time. He also discussed our issue with a rat which is getting into our garage and he said he'd look around the house to see if he can help. He set up a trap and some chicken wire where he can see the rat was using as an entrance. Joe gave my husband some really good advice about the trees and how the rat can use it to get up high to enter. So we will have to do some work but SO glad he pointed out what we needed to do because we could not figure out where it was entering. Thank you so much, Joe! I previously used Omega Termite & Pest Control after my home purchase because the previous homeowners used Omega. However, after a few subpar experiences with them (e.g., no-show at appointment time, incorrect charges), I found Manor Pest Solutions via Nextdoor and Yelp, and I'm very glad I did. It's a breath of fresh air that Joe is honest, which definitely does not fit the stereotype of people in this industry. Joe stated that all his work is one-time unless people want to schedule an additional visit; in contrast, most major pest control companies have contracts and subscriptions so they can have multiple follow-up visits, even if there aren't issues. Although I only called and paid for treatment related to ants, Joe helped me check for other potential issues and helped clean up a lot of spider webs for free. He was very thorough when he simply did not need to be. Joe's rate was lower than the other pest control companies I called. During the visit, he gave me tips and was happy to pass on his knowledge, such as telling me what tools I can purchase on my own at low prices so that I do not need to have him come out if there are minor issues. The combination of fair prices, Joe being knowledgeable, and Joe being a great person means that I'll definitely be calling Manor Pest Solutions again if there are issues. That said, I don't foresee issues in the near future, as he was able to take care of all the problems I have - it's been over a month and the pesky ants have not returned! read more

I probably could have left the live nest in place to deter door to door solicitors but... the world's a better place if we treat everyone with courtesy and respect! Very honest, quick and professional company. The owner came out right away and gave a free estimate and free pest traps to figure out which type of bug we had. After a few days we called him back with the samples and he gave us a great solution and reasonable price. He came and sprayed one time and it's been almost 2 weeks and zero bugs have been seen. Two months ago, we experienced an ant invasion in our kitchen. After a month of trying to get rid of them with bait and spray, we gave up and called Manor. Joe and Luis came out, assessed the situation and sprayed the outside of our house. The following week, the ants were back, and without charging extra, Luis returned and sprayed outside again and also inside the kitchen. This year, we have been experiencing even more than normal spiders, flying insects, fleas and rodents. I finally gave in and called Manor Pest Solutions for help. The owner, Joe, was very helpful. He visited my home and asked the right questions to determine my needs. He didn't try to upsell services. In fact, he told me I didn't need service as often as I requested. His initial rate and bi-monthly maintenance rate were much lower than I anticipated. We made an effective plan that was safe for my dogs and son to be around. He scheduled Luis to do the initial service for me yesterday. Luis spent two hours in the extreme heat cleaning all of the cobwebs off of my home and the outdoor play structures. If you have mice in your home I would like to recommend Manor Pest Solutions to eradicate your problem. My tenant noticed mice in my investment property. I called Manor Pest Solutions and Joe came early the next day, evaluated where the mice might be getting in. He installed a door sweep at the front door, put metal chicken wire around the vent holes along the foundation, sealed off an opening under the house to the crawl space and set traps the same day. He returned twice to check and remove traps with mice in them. He was very considerate and respectful of my tenant.
