I came in to meet friends for dinner. It's spacious inside and convenient that they have valet parking in the back. We had the calamari as an appetizer and I ordered the braciola which was delicious. The service was great considering it was a little early before dinner time. My friends ordered the gnocchi and chicken with green beans

Amazing service, the server was super attentive. The food was fresh made to order. The imported olive oil was to die for amazing. The bread paired amazing. Great drink selection. The ambiance was so lovely all the tables dressed; Each draped in cloth table settings. The dress code is business casual. Will be returning soon. Thanks for the excellent service.

Happy Holidays everybody. I find myself and my friends at Pasquale Rigoletto. The chicken parm was delicious, the bread crumbs had that authentic Italian taste. The chicken franchise was delicious and satisfying. And for you traditional Italians, I hade the tripe which was cooked to perfection followed by a light sweet tomato sauce. (I could eat it by the spoon) I am highly recommending this restaurant if you're ever on Author Ave. in the Bronx, New York.

This restaurant came recommended because it was good but more importantly it has a parking lot!!!!!! One of the few that does have parking plus we left the car there for a short time to walk around to shop Baked clams - superb- crunchy top Mozz in careozza - amazing nice thick pieces Chicken scarpariello very tasty. Tender chunks of chicken Brocolli rabe- eh. Mine is better. Too bitter and a bit undercooked Table bread was good Clean bathrooms Very knowledgeable waiter who's been there for many years.

Classic Arthur Avenue Italian restaurant. Great classic food and excellent service. We all enjoyed our food : gnocchis, braciole, spaghetti, hot peppers, baked clams. Parking behind restaurant with rear entrance.

What they did well: - fettuccine alfredo (which is not on the menu, but they will make for you) - the seasoned staff were friendly and social - clean restroom - parking Where they missed the mark: - service from the younger servers was adequate at best - food was inconsistent, specifically the penne was over cooked, the shrimp was over cooked, the vodka sauce was bland - the young lady clearing dishes legit reached in front of my face as I was taking a bite to clear a dish in the middle of the table TWICE - the bread was generic and the butter was ice cold so it tore the bread instead of spreading - the Coke was flat It wasn't as good as it was 9 years ago when last we were here, but the alfredo was as delicious as ever. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but I would get the alfredo again in a heartbeat if I was in the area. I should note I'm not a fan of alfredo in general so for me to give it rave reviews should indicate how good it is. 10/10 for that sauce.

Pasta is cooked perfectly, calamari is fried and battered perfectly, and the carbonara is *chefs kiss*. Definitely worth checking this place out.

All I knew was I was going to grab lunch somewhere on Arthur Avenue. I knew there were plenty of great options, but other than that I was just going to wander. Thankful for how things work out. I got to speaking to a gentleman named Phil at the Farmer's Market, and he recommended Pasquale Rigoletto for a truly old school Bronx Italian dining experience. He worked at the establishment and had been dining there himself since he was a little boy. I decided to take him up on his recommendation, not knowing any better, and man, am I glad I did! The ambiance is old school classic Bronx/NY Italian, as promised, and I was all in. Signed pictures of NY and other celebs at the restaurant hang proudly around the bar, and Frank, Dean and Bobby Darin all crooned as I dined. Just as it should be. I sat at the bar, as it was mid afternoon on a summer Thursday, and was quickly brought a beautiful basket of freshly baked, warm bread with olive oil, balsamic, crumbled sharp cheese and flavorful peppers. This alone would have a feast. I started with one of the appetizer specials, breaded mozzarella and prosciutto fried with a caper tapenade - a triumph. Really unique and perfect. For my entree in went with Phil's recommendation, and stayed on the special menu. The Rigatoni Arrabbiate was beyond perfect. I can't remember the last time I had such a delicious bowl of pasta. I was stuffed beyond belief, but had to try a sliver of the homemade ricotta cheesecake, and it was pillowy, flavorful and perfect. What a meal, what a feast. Thank you Phil for advocating for your establishment and to the entire team for a meal I will likely never forget. Can't wait to go back.

    So true!!!

They came up highly recommended, that always makes me a little apprehensive. They were right! Got there around 1is, not crowded but there were some patrons - looked like regulars. We got seated right away. Service could not have been better and I base a lot of my reviews on that. One of the staff was clearing the table and accidentally brushed against me, he barely touched me - he couldn't have been more apologetic. Very impressive, I assume management trained him and kudos to them for that! Food was next level! Calamari app was tasty, fresh, tender and delicious. I had the Filet of Sole and it was in an egg batter that was very tasty and perfect. I know it was good because my son had several bites! He also had the gnocchi and I don't think he took a breath while eating it. Definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

The veal looked great but the flavor was truly lacking. Marsala-like sauce was watery without the rich flavor. Could be so much better. The clams were plentiful but needed a bit more linguine. The sauce was so watery and tasted like just clam juice with barely any flavor at all. Lacked the wine garlic deliciousness that normally comes with this dish. So, we won't be returning. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was pleasant overall. Just needs major improvement with food preparation. Flavor makes all the difference.

My husband arrived at 7:04 PM. The food was not ready. He was repeatedly told vague timelines ("a little while," then 7:15 PM), none of which were accurate. The manager disappeared into the kitchen, leaving him waiting with no updates. By 7:48 PM, after over 40 minutes, he left without the food. During that wait, other customers were seated, served, finished their meals, paid, and left -- all while two simple sandwiches could not be produced. I spoke directly with the manager twice. Instead of taking responsibility, he argued about the pickup time, minimized the delay, and only offered excuses and after-the-fact store credit. No proactive communication. No apology. No basic follow-through. Delays happen. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Order takeout elsewhere if you value your time.

The food was well-prepared and hearty, especially the pasta dishes, which tasted fresh and filling. Some items stood out more than others, but overall quality was solid. The atmosphere has a warm, old-school neighborhood vibe that makes it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service was friendly and attentive, though it slowed slightly during peak hours. Overall, Enzo's of Williamsbridge is a dependable spot for classic Italian food. With a bit more consistency and quicker service at busy times, it could easily reach a five-star level.

I also took home a side order of escarole, sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and grated Parmesan on the side. The Chicken Scarpariello ($37 w/option ) is great and quite filling. The Chicken is coming from the thighs as best I can determine and is chopped up with a few bones that can be handled with a knife and fork. I would definitely order this always on the bone for flavor. You have the boneless option, but go with the bone. The cherry hot peppers add a definitive kick, above Fra Diavolo level, but nothing anyone cannot handle. The sausage was overcooked, but the potatoes were spot on. The red sauce, ziti and Parmesan calmed the moderate heat down if anyone is concerned. The escarole was a good accompaniment, but the spice level overwhelmed the wine with this dish. By the way, I can now confirm this $48 Montepulciano is of the Sangiovese varietal from Montepulciano D.O.C. The Chicken Scarpariello with the added option is also a more fulfilling meal than the Veal Martini and I can understand why it is a leading dish on the menu at Enzo's. I find it to be equally good too, so no downgrade in the rating. It highlights the consistency of the dishes served by the kitchen with steady chefs over the years. Marcello, my server, told no lies. The Double Cut Pork Chop ($33) was a bit more satisfying and delicious. It's thick, about two inches or more thick. They trimmed most of the fat, but left enough for added flavor. Notice the darkened color of the fat trim that has been seared and caramelized. Yum! The thick chop is cooked all the way through, but it's not tough or challenging to cut. It's still juicy and somewhat tender inside, with the added juice and flavor of the sauce. Over the escarole and pasta with garlic and dusted with Parmesan for that pop, your palate is in for a most satisfying experience. The Double Cut Pork Chop is one of those dishes that will keep people coming to Enzo's. It also paired better with the wine, given the heat from the hot cherry peppers was less pronounced and not overwhelming for the relatively low tannin and low acidity wine. I have had Sangiovese that drink a lot bigger and don't even mention the Brunellos. Enzo's of Williamsbridge is not overcharging in my opinion. They could have increased prices more on account of inflation, but they have not. Their loyal patrons would balk of they did. The dishes on the menu generally range from the high twenties to high thirties for generous servings. Wines by the bottle are reasonably priced and I can see why one would take your family here or take someone on a date here with the quality and value proposition served up consistently since 1998. Enzo's is a go to restaurant for many loyal patrons. I would and will return easily and can give Enzo's high marks. Just seat me inside the main dining room next time please. 4.0 very solid and consistent stars!
