Served with sliced veggies and soft, delicious pita bread. The sabich is a pita sandwich stuffed with eggplant, hard egg, amba, harissa, tahini, fries, cabbage slaw and Israeli salad. Talk about textures! I LOVE having different textures in my food and the sabich provided that and more. It was super tasty and filling. Rina is a cute Israeli restaurant located on The Beltline. Honestly, I'm giving 4 stars for the vibe and music. You can sit outside on a beautiful day and just people watch while snacking and listening to some chic Israeli and French music. There is a self-service window that you walk up to and order from outside and then choose your own table. I sat at my table for a few minutes before realizing this. Then they give you a number and bring out your food. The menu selection is very limited and I just wanted a snack so I had the fries seasoned with unique spices and a side of harissa mayo sauce, which was mild. The fries were served lukewarm. Came to Rina for a last minute dinner and all the outside patio was taken on a nice night out. We sat inside and service was a bit slow having to wait nearly 10 mins to get our waters. We ordered the Hummus No. 2 to share and it's still literally to die for and my fave hummus ever. Food tonight came out exceptionally slow and felt like service was lackluster. My friend ordered the Steak Kebab and found it to be below room temperature and rather cold. Like my previous review, he found the steak to be so chewy and also not served with a knife. He ordered the steak cooked medium rare (and as a medium rare steak eater) this was definitely more rare. He also ordered the fries and enjoyed these! I ordered the Lamb Kebab Burger and found it to be just fair. The bun was toasted to nearly burnt and I found the meat to be a bit too dry. I had to add the sauce that came with the fries to being some moisture. The fries were great and seasoned immaculately! Being a week fresh from dining in Israel--the motherland herself--I was just thankful to have Israeli food again and be with friends, SO to be quite honest, I didn't pay too much attention to the quality of the cuisine. (I think that all means I wasn't astonished-- good or bad-- by it). The drinks were actually ~incredible~ though! A fantastic small menu restaurant located directly on the beltline (with free parking near the Kroger) that serves phenomenal food! You can't go wrong from their falafel plates, plentiful chicken shawarma pita and spicy lamb burger. The prices are reasonable and you get a bang for your buck! Had lunch here the other day with a friend on the patio. The food was very good and about what I'd expect for a meal on the beltline in this area price wise. My friend had the falafel salad and I had the chicken shawarma fries. The falafel were crispy and delicious and the fresh dressing was delicious. The fries were nicely spiced and the chicken was great in my dish. I found it an overall to be a bit salty and the more I ate the less I loved it even though I probably would get it again. Both dishes were very big and I thought the portions were generous. I tried the fries on their own and found them to be a big bland but my friend disagreed. Rina is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta!! I've only been a handful of times, but that is all it took to become one of my top recommended spots. The parking is easy and the restaurant itself is located right near Ponce Market in Midtown. Upon entering, you are met with beautiful decor (the tile floor is stunning) that perfectly encapsulates the whole Israeli beach vibe they're going for! Any time I've gotten drinks they have always been refreshing and enjoyable (especially the Hoftel Baruch, apologies if it is spelled incorrectly). Their hummus is hands down the best I've ever had and absolutely puts Sabra to shame!! The warm pita bread and veggies pair perfectly and I always end up asking for more. Additionally, the falafels are a great choice as well. Although it sounds silly, their French fries are some of the best I've EVER had. The combination of seasonings and the harissa Mayo that comes with is *unmatched*. Honestly it's really fun to just grab a few drinks and order hummus or any of the mezze options, if you want to nosh on multiple things and not just an entree. The steak beef kebab was good, and the harissa cous cous is wonderfully flavorful, although my only complaint is that the portion size is somewhat small for the price (their food is just so good I want as much as possible!). The gorgeous setting and good vibes makes it a classy, but casual, date night spot, and it's fun to share food tapas style. It was my wife and I's first time trying Rina tonight and it was just alright. We ordered the Hummus No.2, Spiced Lamb Burgers, and a Strawberry Negroni drink. The service was slow for starters, which wouldn't have been an issue if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't busy. Our hummus took 20 min to come out, which doesn't make sense because it was pre-made. While the Hummus and Pita were good, the Burger was underwhelming. It lacked flavor and was a little sour with all of the pickled veggies and it needed something to balance that badly. The fries were good, but overall as a meal it wasn't that great. The drink was only a glass half full and lackluster to say the least. The high cost of the food here compared with the quality of the food and drinks gives it a 3 in my book. We have had excellent Mediterranean food and Rina is far from it. read more

We walked in around 7:30pm for dinner on a Friday night and were very thankful that they could seat our party of 12 without a reservation. Service was quick & friendly and the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the beef kebab platter with all the sauces drizzled on top served over a flatbread. We asked for some schug on the side and it had a nice kick to it. I topped off my meal with a Turkish coffee shake & have no regrets. The cookie crumble on top gave the shake a nice crunch. Only recommendation would be to serve it with a boba straw instead of a regular straw and a spoon. Would definitely stop by again if we ever go back to Atlanta! read more

Location: You can't really get much better than straight off of the Beltline and in front of Ponce. I have to say though, you will have to pay for parking to go here. Vibe: We loved the indoor area here! Absolutely charming and way larger than might be suggested when looking at the deceptive entrance. The outdoor seating seemed nice, but there's just a lot of activity and when we went a lot of heat just because it's the middle of summer. They have a good lunch menu. I got the falafel salad and it was super refreshing on a hot day. I am not a salad person typically but this one was great! It's a good vegetarian option. Rina is a cute middle eastern type restaurant that is basically a hidden gem. Literally. If you're walking by bot paying attention you'd miss it. But good thing I didn't. There's outdoor seating and the stadd has masks so kudos for that. And if you decide to go in, it's beautiful and clean and big. You'd never imagine it looking from the outside. A bit pricey but you' are definitely walking out with a full stomach, no need to eat before leaving home. The chicken shawarma looks small but I was fighting towards the end. One of my new favorite spots for sure. Struggled making this because when you find gems as such you want to keep them to yourself. Dope little Mediterranean restaurant on the beltline. A friend who had eaten here before suggested Rina for an early dinner before going to see a show at the Fox on a Friday evening. At 6 pm, only a few of the tables were full and we probably didn't need the reservation we had. All of the food we had was delicious - we all shared the hummus and I sampled the falafel and fries from others orders. I had the spicy tequila cocktail and was impressed with that as well. Service was fast and thorough. We ate indoors but was good to see how you could eat outside right on the belt line. There's a small no-charge parking lot right outside and although we didn't have any trouble finding a spot, I can see that being an issue during busy hours. Cal, our waiter, happily and patiently answered all our dozens of questions and kept checking on us as it took it quite a while to decide on our order. We ultimately chose to share hummus #3, & a side of falafel. One lady ordered the Amba Chicken, two ordered the Chicken Shawarma (one in a bowl without the pita,) and I ordered the Arayas. The restaurant was pretty empty and we enjoyed chatting in the cool and comfortable atmosphere while we waited the short time for our food to arrive. The hummus was quite delicious and the pita was warm, fresh and perfect, but we all really wished that there was another full pita as part of the serving. The falafel were very, very hard. Once we got to the inside they had nice flavor, but breaking through the crust was tough! Think they were very over cooked. The lady who had the Amba Chicken enjoyed her meal as did the one who had the Chicken Shawarma in the pita, but they both said it was a "one and done" and had no desire to have it again. The lady who had the Chicken Shawarma in a bowl without the pita wasn't impressed with the heavy mixture of flavors. My Arayas was pretty inedible. It was extremely greasy and the meat inside was dry and tasteless. Maybe because the outside was so greasy, I couldn't taste anything beyond that wet oily grease. Between the falafel and the Arayas, we had to wonder if the fryer temps were off today?? Overall we loved the decor, and the vibe of the place, and our waiter Cal was fabulous. We all just weren't in love with the food. We all found it overly oily or greasy and too many rich flavors combined together. It came with warm pita bread with an assortment of crudite. The true bummer of tonight was my main dish. After the hummus came out, it took a very long while for all the other dishes to come out. In fact, a table that sat down after us got their food before us. My main dish, the steak kebab, had decent flavor but was so cold. The couscous was cold and the steak, which I had asked for medium rare, was more rare than I would've liked. The steak was below lukewarm in temperature leading it to be incredibly chewy. A waste of filet mignon if you ask me... Overall, it's a cute little spot that's right off the Beltline. I would only come back for some hummus and maybe some drinks.
