Small but intimate setting. Started with red sangrias , and ordered 3 hot tapas to start with. The fried goat cheese, tasting platter of empanadas, and the spicy shrimp. Added on a fourth a little later which was the chickpeas in the tomato sauce and chorizo. Our waiter who I think was the owner said that would be the perfect amount for us and it was! All of the dishes took alittle bit to come out but that's because everything is made to order so we didn't mind. Everything was really good, hot and delicious. Not one thing bad I can talk about. Heaven on earth. The Octputus is grilled/cooked to perfection (seriously no easy feat) served with garlic, olive oil, parsley, and salt. The best I have ever had in the U.S. rivaling my best experience to date at a excredibly high-end resort in the D.R over five years ago. I will be back next weekend with my husband to share in the increbile Pulpo a la Plancha with a lite, chilled, potatoe salad with rice. The Sangria was strong and on point. A little gem. Food takes long as there is only one person in the kitchen and one person in front of the house, but you will not be disappointed. I have visited 4 times and tried a lot of the menu but not all of it. The only dish that was underwhelming was the bacalao croquettes. Everything else had a home made taste to it and was wonderful. Don't expect cheap prices though as the place has only 9 or so tables. read more

My fiancé and I finally stopped in last night and this amazing neighborhood gem certainly didn't disappoint! The restaurant is small and cozy. They have daily specials listed on 2 chalk boards, along with a regular menu....it was a mouthwatering selection. We went with the Serrano ham for a starter and the seafood paella for our main, both of which were delicious. They also brought out a complimentary cold potato dish with a creamy yogurt, dill and garlic sauce that was unbelievable. So on top of a great culinary experience which was very reasonably priced, I have to mention how the awesome service we received too. The owner was very hands on and you can tell he has a personal interest in making sure his customers leave happy and full. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and look forward to our next visit to Rincon! read more

Rincon escondido is small but the flavors are amazing! I love eating tapas when I go to Spain, and Rincon escondido brings back those memories in such a positive way. The service is outstanding, the sangria is a must have drink, last time I was there I had the paella and it was simply marvelous. The chiperones were grilled perfectly, even the complimentary starter of potato salad is the most amazing potato salad I have ever had. Excellent Food... can't be more delicious "Beaf milanesa". The Chef amazing!!! I just ordered over the internet thru EAT 24 and for some reason my address came wrong to them. They called me and verified the address and the delivery was way faster than 45 minutes as posted on EAT 24. The delivery guy forgot the salad that was included in my order and the Chef in person called me with an apologize and she sent another guy just delivering my salad.... So I found this little gem on Yelp while looking for somewhere laid back to go on date night with another couple. I am so glad I did! We all loved everything we tried!! For appetizer we had the bombas de queso, the fried garbanzos, the croquetas de jamon...all delicious. Main plates were a fish, pechuga de pollo a la milanesa, and two goat cheese stuffed churrascos. Ok so last night we wanted to celebrate my friends birthday and was looking for a new place and came across this restaurant on yelp. We decided to give it a try . I am so happy we did .This is the SPOT!!!!!. Great amazing food with outstanding taste . It is a tiny place and because their food is fresh and made on the spot there will be a wait of maybe 45 min for your main course . The owner Damian is amazing and he will tell you upfront wait will happened and is also listed in their menu . However again and I repeat is because the food is made fresh at the moment . So if you are in a rush to go in and out and want to eat pre-cooked or frozen food don't come here . If you want to enjoy good fresh made food and amazing hospitality and take your time and enjoy then this is your placed. Sorry there were no pictures we enjoyed eating it lol We had the amazing Bombas the queso and gambas al ajillo to start along with a pitcher of sangria which was really good and you can tell it was not make with cheap wine like other places. We also had a churrasco relleno de queso de Cabra with salad and potatoes and the pollo a la manchega!!!! Went for the first time and it was a delightful experience. The food is suoerb... and you can find delicious vegeterian dishes too. It is small and intimate with a cozy decor that you don't expect when seeing it from outside. It has parking in the back. So happy I discovered this place. As its name suggests, it can get a little lost in the array of restaurants and stores that line Biscayne Blvd., but once you've found your way to it, you'll never forget it (and will want to keep coming back). The owner, Damien, is so friendly and welcoming. Leaving the restaurant after my meal, I felt like I had made a new friend. The place is also decorated so perfectly -- a real, homey feel that you'll absolutely love. It helps that it's pretty small and intimate too. Plus, the music they play is so relaxing and unique. I could have stayed there forever. Now on to the food -- WOW! I went with my mom and sister, so we ordered a few of their tapas and split everything (even though what I really wanted to do was eat everything myself). Plate after plate of delicious, traditional Spanish tapas. And all at a great price too. The saddest part is that not many people go to this phenomenal restaurant. This is an amazing restaurant! My friends and I are from out of town and we really wanted authentic Spanish food. One of our friends is allergic to seafood and Damian, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure he accommodated her allergy. Her dish was delicious. He really put his customers` interests first. So we heard about this place from a lyft driver who raved about their paella and his recommendation was on point! We arrived early in the day and ordered it and opted to go out and explore the area for the 1.5 hours that it would take to make the paella for two. We were stoked to find that the staff was not on super friendly but very upfront about the time it takes to prepare. Mario took down our number and said he would call us when it was about 15 minutes from being ready. We ended up getting right in for a quick massage prior and the time worked out great! When he called and we returned we were seated right away and drinks were served. Then about 7-10 minutes later our paella was delivered. This meal was the the best one we experienced in Miami without question! The paella was incredible and well cooked. It not only had a copious amount of seafood of all kinds, but had a great seasoned flavor. We ordered for two and were both hungry but it was a challenge to even get through 3/4 of the dish due to its size. The end result was that everything including the wait was worth this delicious dish. I would recommend that every give this a try, but I highly suggest you call ahead and order it early or else it could take up to two hours to make! read more

Holy crap! This place is great! It's very small, they only have 7 tables, but that's what makes it so great. Everything is cooked to order. So be prepared to not be rushed. We had the grilled squid, fried goat cheese balls, churasco steak, and the paella with seafood and chicken. Also washed it down with a bottle of sauvignon blanc.
