    Croquetas de Jamon Serrano

We felt like we were dining in a friend's living room and it was amazing. We had a reunion with friends we met in Spain and were seeking out a tapas spot to bring back the memories. The restaurant is tiny, with one big table and only two or three small tables. I therefore recommend getting reservations in advance if you plan on dining here. The food is a mix of Spanish and Argentinian tapas, and the owner is from Argentina. The menu was very similar to what you would find in Spain though. We ordered one of almost everything and enjoyed every bite. The jamon, manchego, and bread was amazing. As was the pulpo (octopus), calamari, shrimp, tortilla, jamón croquetas, patatas bravas, and salad. We were celebrating our friend's birthday, so when I mentioned it to the owner, he was awesome and brought her out a flan with a candle - so kind. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time talking to the owner for awhile. The restaurant is located just minutes away from the Wynwood neighborhood, which we still took a few-minute Uber to afterwards, as the neighborhood seemed a little sus at night. I'd definitely recommend dinner here!

This restaurant really lives up to its name, which means "hidden corner tapas", as it is very easy to just walk by without noticing it. We may or may not have done just that. The tapas are pretty much all excellent. I would highlight the fried octopus as a must-have. In contrast, the patatas bravas can be safely skipped. In theory, they offer paella, but due to staffing changes their paella chef was actually working front of house. While he was very kind and hospitable, I do hope he's able to get back to paella-making in the near future. Lastly, if you drive, they do have free parking, which is a nice perk. Rincon Escondido is a small, cozy place perfect for savoring a quiet meal, despite being on an incredibly busy street. Maybe it's just the magic of tapas.

Super Small dining area. A handful of tables inside and then a few high tops/ tables outside. Very casual and service was a bit slow but to be fair only one person working. Had a red sangria, a glass of Tempranillo and empanada sample. The empanadas didn't have that much meat inside but enjoyed the fact that they were BAKED Empanadas! Would be interested to see what their other tapas are but not making not making a giant effort to go back. They probably get lots of local traffic which is great support as it does have lots Spanish variety to offer the community

Again, it's been a while since we've been here. Still so good. We decided to stay with the tapas. The restaurant filled up really quickly and we were glad for that decision. The tables a small, and the timing perfect, one dish almost magically followed the other, fresh from the stove. First came the octopus a la placha, cooked perfectly with a side small salad. Next were the tortilla de patatas with a garlicy mayonaise, followed by the utterly delicious mushrooms in sherry sauce. I want to find this recipe. Finally was the luscious gambas al ajillo. Each course was served with a small, hot baguette to catch every bit of sauce.

Cozy atmosphere with friendly service. All of our dishes were made fresh and timed well in order to give us time to enjoy each dish individually. My favorite was the shrimp - the sauce was delicious and I actually ended up dipping the patatas bravas and tortilla de chorizo in the sauce too. It had a tasty garlic flavor with a very subtle kick!

A great place if you're into Spanish style food. The service is always good. Garbanzos, tortilla de chorizo, pulpo (grilled octopus), and steak are great options to share with a special someone. The owner and chef are Argentine which is a plus since they really enjoying cooking delicious dishes of food. The ambience takes you back to a cool hole in the wall you'd find in Barcelona, Cartagena or any Latin American restaurant.

Cozy, intimate and delicious! Feels like you are back in Spain. Great service, within shouting distance of the chefs and everything was delicious. Sangria had great flavor, loved the garlic dipping sauce with croquetas and the paella was moist, flavorful and huge! Make sure you give yourself time as it takes over an hour for them to make fresh. Also pro tip from the kitchen: you will have better chances of convincing the chef to make it fresh if you make an appointment for it ahead! But I got lucky!

Finally went here after seeing it super often and I loved it! There is Spanish and Argentine food and I loved both. We had the patatas bravas, gambas al ajilo, goat cheese bombs, and a chicken milanesa. We also had sangria which I didn't love but I really liked everything else. The owner is super friendly and it is definitely a great hidden corner!

The food here is literally like something you'd reheat at home when you have leftovers. I came with a friend and it was us and one other table. The same person who takes your order also cooks the food, although it was clearly microwaved other than the fries. Appetizers were meh. We ordered the chicken manchengo dish and the picture attached is what we got. The chicken was covered in a brownish black goop -- the taste was "OK" it looked much worse than it tasted... but not worth the $60 or so our bill came out to in the end.

Tiny little place, good food. Mixture of Spanish and Argentinean. The tabla seemed a tad pricey but the rest was very reasonable. We ordered the calamari, empanadas, shrimp and patatas. The bread was really tasty. Intimate atmosphere, good find.

We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Hoping to end the night on a better note, we headed upstairs for a drink, especially since the espresso martinis were excellent as we had started our evening upstairs Unfortunately, we were turned away at 9:15 PM by the hostess, who stated the rooftop bar was closing.
