Dave did an Awesome Job! Dave does not offer home visits for quotes due to Covid 19, but offers free quotes via photos and some information which was great for me. I sent over my photos and received a quote immediately and he was able to fit me in that day I tried installing the Ring Doorbell myself but could not drill the holes into the hard stucco on my house to mount the doorbell. When Dave arrived he advised me that hardwiring the doorbell was better then going battery operated as I had attempted because I'm not comfortable with electrical wiring, and then I would not have to charge the doorbell all the time. He also programmed a Ring chime, disconnected the original doorbell chime that came with the house, and even went above and beyond and caulked my attempted holes in the stucco to make it look nice again. Ecobee Installation Guy is the Greatest!!! I purchased the Ecobee 4, Amazon Echo, Amazon Dots for my home. Called and left a message on his voicemail and he called me back immediately. As someone teaching myself to be handy, I figured I can handle a Ring Doorbell Pro installation myself. My home is old, however, and I assumed I needed a new doorbell transformer. After searching for a good two hours or so, I figured I'd call someone and maybe ask for advice. Dave was very helpful/professional and with his advice, I found the transformer a few minutes later. I called Dave for what we anticipated would be a simple Ring Doorbell Installation. Alas, there were unanticipated issues: The device we had turned out to be defective, so a replacement was needed, and of course the new device's battery needed charging. The Ring app had just been updated to a new version, which had a glitch that had to be worked around. And the transformer was unfortunately very well hidden. Despite the unanticipated obstacles placed in his way, Dave did an outstanding job with the installation of our Ring Video Doorbell 2 and, despite the time involved in the installation itself, there was no extra charge, and Dave still took the time to clearly explain the doorbell's operation and features settings. All in all, a job that probably would have taken Dave as little as 20 minutes under ideal circumstances ended up taking over two hours, and Dave handled it all with a smile and a great sense of humor. Dave recently installed my Nest Hello Doorbell (yes, he's also the Nest Doorbell Installation Guy). My current system was an old but complicated German video intercom, so the install wasn't as simple as swapping an basic doorbell for the Nest Hello; there was an explosion of wires coming out of my wall outside and even worse behind the doorbell chime. Rest assured, Dave figured it all out and even replaced a transformer while he was at it. He is very knowledgeable and can solve problems most "installers" can't.
