This was out first visit. We passed it many times, it looked as if it was really popular. Read very good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. We were disappointed with our meal overall. The side salad was fine. I have had many french dip sandwiches. A regular patron raved about the tenderness of the meat so I ordered it. Tenderness is not what comes to mind. I have never had a french dip with pot roast! The roll was great but it was still pot roast! The french fries were warm at best. I was looking forward to the locally homemade pierogi. I ordered them fried, they were not crisp or hot. My sister had a White Russian, it was very good. Our waitress was nice and pleasant but swift. The bar crowd seemed friendly and jovial. read more

Not so much about a food review but I just want to share with everyone that the owner, Donald Ringer, is very unprofessional and a liar. They left me a note that said I was nothing more than a kitchen helper, with my pay. I respected them and told them that the job was not for me and said nothing else but he decided to make it personal. I quit because I was lied to, they offered me a Kitchen Manager position but their lead line cook said there has been no managers ever and they just said that to make me work there. They also promised me $15 an hour in cash which is illegal and didn't give me 2 weeks to quit my current job. In the end, I was paid for 13 hours instead of the 27 hours that I worked there and at 13 an hour and not the promised 15. Be careful if interested in a job there and they also use expired ingredients and food that dropped on the floor because of labor costs. read more

My husband and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ringers. It's our go-to spot when we want to go out for a great meal in a casual, homey place. The servers are all wonderful and so friendly. We go here so much they are like friends. I highly recommend the homemade pierogies (made by a local woman)... they are filled so full of yummy potato and cheese. Forget about Mrs. T's!! Their fish and chips is for me the best in the lehigh valley. It's a nice big filet of white fish (haddock?) that is batter dipped and fried to perfection. So crunchy and wonderful. Want a budget night out, go on a Tuesday for their Taco Tuesday menu. Really good stuff and super affordable. They also make a killer martini and other lovely adult beverages. Ringers has undergone a huge transformation in the past few years, adding a roof over the outdoor seating area and revising the menu. But they've always had a great Taco Tuesday menu, and they've always had a huge beer menu. Many excellent beers are on tap, and even more are available in cans or bottles. Tacos are cheap and delicious. The staff are always wonderful. And during the West End Bar Crawl, they usually have some kind of jello shot available! read more

One of my favorite places I've ordered at since covid started, but it's also a great place to dine-in at too! I'd say the fare is best described as slightly ramped up bar food. Usually has a decent tap list too, which is a plus. I must say the food is delicious. Wings are some of the best I've had in the area, and the prime rib spring rolls are top notch as well. The app list alone can keep you satisfied for a meal. Now for meals....The Canary Burger is one of the superior burgers I've had in the area! And I would say I'm a burger connoisseur, and don't give praise lightly to just any burgers. There is something to say about the simplicity of it, and I get it almost every time I go. We had a party of four adults and a toddler. We sat on the patio at about one pm on a Friday. Our lunch from the time of ordering took ninety minutes to arrive. We were there for three hours, as it also took an immense length of time to get our check. When I asked for directions to take my toddler to the bathroom our waitress gave us directions to multiple locked doors. I am going to open with a WOW! We were visiting Muhlenberg College and looking for one of the local joints and boy did we find one. We were greeted by smiles as we were seated. We sat outside which was awesome but both the dining area or the bar area were both very inviting. Our server Shawn was awesome!!!!guiding us through the both the food and beer menus, both were extremely appetizing. The seasonal IPA to sautéed pierogis to the ribeye panini, everything was delicious. This place is a gem and is a must stop for either a leisurely lunch or dinner. Had lunch today. Food was good. Service extremely poor.....our waitress, Jaidee, started out fine, brought our drinks, but when we said we needed a few more minutes to decide on our selections, she disappeared and it was a good 15 minutes until she returned to take our order. Seemed like she and the young outside server had no organization. Both disappeared inside and I had to draw Jaidee's attention to people waiting to be served when she came back outside. When she cleared our plates and we declined desserts, she quickly presented our check, which had a "cash" and "non-cash" amount due! Never did she mention that! My granddaughter, who was with us, is a server and she remarked that Jaidee did the "bare minimum"! My husband finally had to take the bill and cash payment into the restaurant because, once again, she was hibernating somewhere inside. He gave it to the other outside server. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 The entrance and the building are not handicap accessible. My grandmother in-law uses a cane and had difficulty getting up the two sets of smalls stairs to get in. There was no way she could have maneuvered though the tiny corridors to use the single stall handicap bathroom. If she was in a wheelchair, this place would be out of the question. We had a party of about 15-20 people. They pulled tables together in a small back room. The waitress was sweet. She told us upfront it would be best to do separate checks if necessary. I ordered a cobb salad. The salad itself was tasty but the oil and vinegar dressing that came with it was ehh. It would have been better with a balsamic or even a buttermilk creamy dressing. My husband and sister in law had a steak avocado and bacon wrap and both said it was eh. It lacked something like seasoning or dressing. Our grandma had the French Dip and she said it was dry even with the au jus sauce. My brother in law had the wings with Parmesan sauce and also said it was ok. Down the corridor there was a bar and the game was on in the room we were in. I would visit again for drinks and to socialize. I would recommend this place but not for the food and not to anyone who needs handicap accommodations. read more

Hi we were in Allentown for a car swap meet and to do some junkin and found the ringers roost. We thought it was a brewery but it's a local bar. A little misleading. But food was good. The service was good. Small bar small restaurant room. I do not know whether to give it a 3 or 4. How about a 31/2. Lovely way to end college move in day with our daughter! The menu had great variety and modest prices. The outdoor seating was perfect for us to bring our dog and she was treated to her own water bowl. The staff was attentive and friendly. We come to Allentown every December for the 3 day dog show at the Fairgrounds. We've passed this restaurant every time and never stopped. We decided on a whim and after checking with Yelp, to give it a try. Service was good, attentive. I ordered an appetizer of the home made perogies, which was excellent and the burger. Nicely presented and good. Nice selection of beer. My friend and u ordered the Hijinx since we like to eat local. My friend had the French Onion soup & a big salad that has shrimp. We will definitely stop here again when at the Fairgrounds. read more
