    Vegetable Omelet Curry

Just thinking of this place makes me want it again. There was only one server at the time we went and the restaurant was almost full in the area we were sitting at. She was seating, serving, and cashing out all the customers. The food was amazing. Came out in a decent amount of time especially considering how many people were there. The ambiance was nice, simple and not overly done. Clean. The only complaint I had was that either the ac was broken, or it's just not strong enough for the space. The spice levels were decent. I tried their spiciest level (yes there's an upcharge for whatever reason) which had a kick but not overbearing fire. It was still very flavorful. Will definitely come back to this place. Prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

There was no line at Ringo on Saturday evening so we finally got to try it. There were only 2 staffs in the restaurant so they were swamped. Service was slow because of understaffing. I ordered the curry pork chop meal set. The ice tea was refreshing and the salad was ok. The curry obviously was the highlight. The sauce was very good and pork chop solid. It was also very filling. We enjoyed it.

Great tendon chicken thick cut. Large portion. Service was pretty decent. The place has plenty of room for large party.

NOMS! My friend and I hadn't planned to dine here the day we met, but I'm so glad the other place ended up being closed because I discovered Ringo Curry. This is some of the best Japanese curry in the area! My friend and I visited Ringo Curry on a Friday night and for the two of us, we were able to get a table immediately; however, the place quickly filled during our time here. It was busy on a Friday night for dinner - and after having it, I understand why. The menu features a lot of different curry dishes and other entrees with Japanese booze and teas. My friend ordered the hamburger omelette curry dish while I had the pork katsu omelette dish, which didn't take long to get. Oh my goodness, my plate was true comfort food! The pork cutlet was tender and juicy and loved how creamy the egg was - definitely not overcooked at all. The curry was fantastic; I kept scooping up curry with every bite. On the table, they also have pickled daikon that I really enjoyed to balance out my meal with some acidity. I'm glad I found Ringo Curry in the International District! The place is so cute, too, with anime playing on the tube and they even have those slot machines where you can win a toy, just like in Japan. What a great homage to such a beautiful country. I'll be back!

If you're ever craving some simple Japanese curry while exploring ID, look no further than Ringo Curry. Decent portions of rice lathered in sweet curry with the protein of your choice - not too shabby. A bit pricey in my opinion, but it does scratch that itch. My wife and I ordered both the pork and chicken cutlets with the curry and rice. Presentation of the food was on point, and there's enough for both the rice partnership and the cutlets for dipping purposes. The sweet and warm Japanese curry felt like a welcomed hug on a cold and brisk May afternoon. The biggest complaint was actually the cutlets - despite a nice crunch to it, something felt a little off. Like the cutlets were a bit old or were previously reheated or something. I had to drench each slice with curry to fully enjoy the meal. At the end of the day, two regular-sized curry dishes actually made us quite full and content. We left feeling stuffed and warm - the perfect combination for a chilly spring day. I would say this was a bit pricey for my liking, but what isn't pricey these days in this economy? Solid 4 stars!

Went for dinner on a Saturday around 7:45 PM and got seated right away even with a huge party (8+). Surprisingly, the restaurant got a bit busier after we started eating, but nobody needed to wait. The food does take a second to come out as they fry everything to order and the parking situation is the typical paid street parking of Chinatown. The good: portions are massive and the little pickled baby onions on the table on the most delightful tart and salty bites to break up a pretty heavy meal. The curry sauce is thick, super savory and the cheese add on is a huge cup of fondue with a mix of nice quality mozzarella and something with just the slightest tartness and funk. The only reason this doesn't score higher is that I found the pork tonkatsu to be criminally overcooked and dry across the table.

10/10 highly recommend ‍ The food is so good and service is friendly and fast. Definitely going to be a go-to whenever in the area.

Really good curry in the middle of Chinatown. Got the hamburg Curry and it was perfectly delish. The flavor and slight spice was cooked to perfection! The place was clean and service was good..

Located: Chinatown, across from honey court restaurant. Restrooms: both men and women restrooms Parking: pay 2hr street parking Service: 3/5 - no hi, it's straight to business, no friendly at all. No need reservation. Indoor seating only. We ordered: Fried squid - pretty good, crispy and light battered. Pork katsu egg curry - ok, not kobuta. Thick katsu meat. Hamburger egg curry - like it. The curry is pretty nice, not too think, not too thin. Spice level: we did 2, it's has a kick. So if you cant handle heat, zero spice level for you

TLDR: Quick service, great portion size, good price. Would recommend ! My favorite curry place in Seattle so far. There's a lot of open seating and large windows. The decor is anime-themed and overall a cozy spot in ID to grab a hot meal. I prefer chicken over pork katsu, personally but my friends loved the pork. The meat cuts through easily with just a spoon and plate comes with a large amount of curry sauce, no veges. The base price for meat + rice + curry is about $18 but it is a Build-your-own type menu, so you can add any veges you want onto your plate !

Located in the Chinatown- International District with plenty of street parking as well as some paid lots nearby. This place had plenty of seating and had a lot of One Piece decor which flowed and seemed to be their theme. The staff was super friendly, making sure to check in on us as well as answer any questions regarding the menu. I ordered the Large Pork Cutlet Omelet Curry and it was pretty massive compared to my friends orders. The curry was flavorful and you can taste the different spices mixed into it. The Pork Katsu had a nice crunch while still having soft and juicy pork underneath the Panko Breading. The juiciness and crunch mixed perfectly with the bite of curry. The rice was fluffy and the fluffy egg sitting on top were the perfect pair for the second bite following the Pork Cutlet and Curry. Definitely want to come back again and try the other dishes!

If you're craving authentic Japanese curry, Ringo Curry hits the spot. The staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in, and service was quick no waiting around, just straight to the good stuff. The curry itself was rich, savory, and full of that classic depth you only get overseas. One bite and I was right back in Japan. The curry was familiar, comforting, and ridiculously satisfying. The katsu was crispy, the sauce was silky and packed with flavor, and it all just came together perfectly on the plate. Simple. Fast. Delicious. If you love Japanese curry, put this place on your list.

Is there vegetarian curry? I see there is a curry with vegetables, but the menu says there is pork in the curry.

Yes, there is only one option with vegetables.

I have a peanut allergy. Which items have peanuts?

Does the curry sauce contain gluten or dairy?

It may contain dairy. The Menu specifically calls out Peanut Butter as an allergen in the curry. They say all sauces contain milk, honey and cheese.

Does the curry sauce contain milk?

Yes! In the menu, their story section... curry sauce contains milk, cheese and honey.

Bonus points for the recommendations and modifications they made to make a roll more kid friendly. I got the Katsu Curry Don and it was genuinely one of the nicest ones I've had in the Seattle area. When we visited on a Saturday for lunch at noon, the place was completely packed. The owner gave us an estimated 30 minute wait time, which steadily increased to over 45 minutes by the time we got our food 25 minutes later. I think this scared away a lot of people so it started to clear out soon afterwards. The restaurant is small and cramped with about 20 seats in a really tiny space with barely any room to move. It's completely self service; order at the kiosk, pick up food and utensils from the counter, then bus the table after finishing. Pork Katsu Soup Curry, Spicy Level 4 ($24) - The entree comes with two dishes, one with the rice, tonkatsu, and a slice of lemon, the other with the curry soup. The rice approaches being mushy, not giving the best mouthfeel. The tonkatsu isn't great either. It has a thick breading that's only fried until very slightly crisp on the outermost layer, with the rest of the breading becoming gummy and unpleasant. The pork isn't dried off that well before being breaded, so the crust detaches without much effort. The pork itself is fine; it's thinly pounded, not super overcooked or tough. Neither the pork nor the breading is seasoned much, if at all, so both are bland. Things improve when switching over to the soup curry. The soup has a concentrated savory curry flavor, filled with salt and curry spices with just a hint of tanginess to round things out. At spicy level 4, it's barely spicy at all, barely heating up the mouth at all. They actually deep fry veggies to order with the dish - in this case, a whole potato (probably par baked first), some eggplant, and broccoli. This gives a nice crust on the outside, which also helps them retain some texture in the soup. The potato, unfortunately, isn't cooked all the way through; the thickest part of the interior still is a bit hard with a raw potato taste. The curry also comes with two shishito peppers and a simply boiled quarter carrot. I got unlucky (or perhaps lucky?) getting one of the rare spicy shishitos, which turned out way more spicy than the broth. (4/5) Aojiru Beef Brisket Soup Curry, Spicy Level 2 ($24) - I think the base is the same, but is modified by adding a bunch of pureed green, and the substitution of tomatoes and cilantro for fried broccoli. The result? A much more vegetal tasting curry. There's no bitterness to be had here. For some reason, this curry at spice level 2 is more spicy than the other one at spice level 4. Still not very spicy at all, but it's definitely inconsistent. Instead of tonkatsu, this comes with four pieces of slowly stewed beef brisket. It's excellent, with both fatty and lean pieces, all the toughness cooked out by hours upon hours of being stewed. I would definitely choose the beef brisket over the katsu in the future. (4/5) Curry Lab Sapporo serves some warm and comforting food. While their food definitely has some issues, they still bring a flavorful and unique dish to the Seattle area. I'd visit again to try more. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

Servers are friendly and they make sure you are doing good. Nice place. Good for large or small groups. Recommend making reservations. Parking however is very limited. Not much space so go early so you can search for a place to park. Otherwise, great place!

If you've been to their first Seattle location in Cap Hill, this location resembles that one in many ways, though this one in Redmond is noticeably much bigger and has more seating that isn't squished together. There's bar seating and a bigger number of four-tops compared to the Cap Hill location, though the wooden wall scheme is the same for both. They serve katsu here with many types of meat cuts, all of which are listed on their menu with descriptions. Service overall was fast and efficient even when tables around us started filling up with hungry patrons. For our food: - The K&O karaage was all right at best. Meat inside is very tender and juicy but the aromatic toasted powder has so much salty flavor - and outer coating was also so dry - that my friend and I needed to drink water constantly while eating it. We could have skipped getting this. - We each got their jidori chicken oroshi katsu. This comes with their jidori chicken, essentially high-quality free-range chicken breast cutlet... and it was very juicy, with the Panko coating being the right kind of crunchy in all areas. We weren't fans of the grated radish sitting on top of all that katsu though, and most of the dish was their shredded cabbage as usual. The cabbage goes really well with their peanut sauce provided at our table. We both left feeling really full and overstuffed in a good way, though I would pass on getting the karaage if you're already getting one of their katsu dishes. Distance- and seating- wise, I'd come back here for their katsu whenever I don't feel like dealing with the parking situation that is Cap Hill.
