We went here to celebrate my girlfriend and I's birthdays. I ordered a Salty Dog, which is my favorite drink. It's vodka or gin with grapefruit juice. They made it completely wrong. There was salt in the drink, they didn't use grapefruit juice, and the bartender was very rude. When we came in, we were obviously asked for our IDs, but the bartender was very impatient and rolled his eyes at me as we were trying to get them out of our wallets. My roommate waited about 15 minutes to actually get service and he said it was the worst Long Island he's ever had. The bar/dining area was crowded and there was food all over the floor. The only redeeming thing about this place is the fact they have 6 pool tables, a few pinball machines, and a clean bathroom. I was banned for absolutely no reason yesterday afternoon. I'd began coming here a few days ago because it was the closest bar to my girlfriend's job where I'd frequently hang out and wait for her to get off and actually befriended a few really nice people. There's a short, stocky bartender with arm tattoos and a beard at the time who asked me if "I was good" one night as I sat on my phone and had a beer while watching a college basketball game during the March Madness NCAA tournament. I signaled to him that I was fine and was rudely met with a long "mmkay?". About twenty minutes later I began to feel unwell (it was a cheap beer and I don't drink often) so I went to the restroom and sat down until I felt better. After 10-15 minutes in the restroom, I heard a loud banging on the stall door asking if "I was good" and to "hurry up and leave". Weird. Confused, yet tired and unwilling to escalate further, I obliged, left and proceeded to order an Uber home. I assumed there was someone patiently waiting to use the restroom and thought nothing else of it. Two days later, I brought a relative, who drove 10 hours to visit from California, to get a bite to eat and was told "I wouldn't be served anymore". I was then told the reason was that I was "in the bathroom too long" and that I was "always faded" with no opportunity to give a response before walking away into the kitchen, despite visiting and being served three times prior without complaint and even being upcharged several dollars more than I authorized on both occasions, which I had planned on discussing and reconciling with them before ordering food that afternoon. I was humiliated in front of a close relative I hadn't seen in years as well as one or two people at the bar who had no idea what was going on. Hence, I had to dispute two charges with my bank that were $40 and $15 over what I paid for during two separate occasions and I am now officially boycotting Ringo's for the rest of my existence. Come here if you want to have your card overcharged, be humiliated and possibly discriminated against, and pretty much disregarded as a human being entirely read more

Never had anything bad to say about this bar but lately the service has gone down. The redhead at the bar was disrespectful and rude. She gave attitude and was got my drink wrong. Their last call is 30 minutes before they actually say. The guy at the bar stated that "I don't pay his bills, his clock does" and did not serve me a drink. 3 stars for food and drinks and ambiance - which means they were... you know.. fine... 4 stars if you like to play pool. If you like to play pool the whole back half the place is a pool hall with all you will need! We sat in front, ordered a well margarita and then a gin and tonic. Lots of tvs for sports viewing if that is your thing. Well drinks were relatively strong but not mixed as well or as tasty as another similar bar around the corner. No dedicated waiter service but bartender did us a solid and checked on us a few times at our table. Had wings, they were advertised as buffalo wings but came as fried chicken with mild spices in the breading, not buffalo sauce. Were just ok. Ringo's was the third option for the night because our group had 8 people, and other bars couldn't accommodate. By the time we found a place, our group whittled down to 4 due to timing. Bar tender/server made the evening. Jovial, courteous, and funny (called me "Red" which threw me for a moment...I'm a natural brunette who'd just colored her hair cartoon burgundy that morning and forgot). Other servers offered the same attitude. Even the door guy was a peach! Food was American comfort/bar food, but not substandard by any means. Jalapeño Ranch Burger is legit but not spicy enough for those who like it hot imo. For those who don't, this could still be your burger because the heat isn't too much. And there's bacon?! Sign me upst! I typically leave a lot of food on my plate, usually enough to take back home. After having the occasional drink here in the past, this place has become my go to Sunday football bar lately. Generally not too busy on Sundays, especially compared to BWW down the street... my wife and I can usually come in and get two different games we want on TVs we can both see without stepping on anybody's toes. There's like 7 TVs in the front area... bonus points- they have DirecTV Sunday Ticket AND Comcast Xfinity (for Trailblazers and PAC 12) on most TVs. Significant investment, but nice that you'll have what your customer wants!! Generally decent bar food. The only "miss" to me are their super atomic hot wings (whatever they're called)... they're an unconventional flavor which wasn't bad, but I think they could've just stuck with something more standard. Everything else- good. Yeah, bar food, but good. Good chili, good sandwiches, good soup, good burgers... Decent Sunday football breakfast. Game day value is in the specials... craft beers for I believe $3.50/ea for part of the day? $5.00 bloody Mary's and $5.00 mimosas at least for the breakfast hours. Fantastic. Ordered the heatwave burger. Added the extra habanero sauce with It but it wasn't as spicy as i thought it would be, however was still good. Staff was nice and friendly. They got tvs and video lottery which is a plus. Bathroom was very clean which I was not expecting considering it being a bar. read more

I really try to avoid leaving reviews that aren't positive about local establishments. But what a terrible experience my wife and I had at Ringo's. We've gone several times and told they were serving breakfast, so we were very excited when we visited this morning and were serving. We were the first people in, and were greeted quickly. Our drinks came quickly and our food order was taken. Shortly after, four people came in after. It was at that moment we realized our server was also the only bartender and COOK in the building. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to come, which also meant that it took nearly 40 minutes before we were asked if we wanted more water, coffee, or another Bloody Mary. All in all, we were there for over an hour and I received one cup of coffee in a 8oz cup, no water refill, and subpar breakfast food. I can't even imagine how long it would've taken if there were more than six guests total. The reason for an additional star is because our server/bartender/cook was nice. If you plan to eat here, I'd call ahead and ask if they have a dedicated cook. read more

Went here when we first moved to Oregon a few weeks ago. Walked in on a weekday in the middle of the day and there was nobody in there, the place was practically empty. We sat down to order food and this Asian bartender approached us angrily, didn't even say hello or anything. Immediately asked us if we had our IDs on us. We were just there to order food because we heard they had a good burger. My girlfriend forgot to bring her ID, and we told him we were just getting food. He he said it doesn't matter and pointed towards the door. Again, he seemed very angry even though there was an empty bar and we were right near the entrance in a booth, nowhere near the alcohol. He could've easily just gotten us food, or if he didn't have a choice, he could've been nice about it. We just wanted a burger and now we're never going back. read more

I was alone and I noticed the patrons nearby staring at me while I chatted on the phone, figuring out what to order. The bartender approached me and when I asked for food to go he turned into some kind of raging monster. He definitely made it very clear to me and everyone around me that they don't do take out. I am an outstanding pool player. This is 100% true anywhere but in the general Portland area, and never around people I know, people I know even just a little bit, people I've seen before, or people that have read any of my reviews. These conditions cause an unfortunate malady wherein I transform into an amateur with poor eyesight and little understanding of geometry. That all clears up beautifully when I'm on vacation, but none of you will ever be able to witness it. I am sad for you. And since I live in Beaverton I do not play pool at Ringo's because my special brand of mojo is thrown off and it's just not pretty. But if you do play, this is the spot. Some very serious players, and I think 6 tables..? Good times. But I will just watch, thanks. Great staff and decent drinks though, for sure! I did try one of the much beloved burgers the other day, and that was a damn fine lunch. (However: why is every bar & grill's "special" burger sauce 1000 island dressing? Or in a twist, 1000 island dressing without pickles? Many will deny it, but that's what it is, whether you make it yourself or not. Same diff.) I was craving a burger the other day, and remembered that Ringo's has a pretty decent burger. I looked on my Yelp app, and noticed they had a $10 for $20 certificate. I purchased the certificate being that I know the burgers were just under $10, and the other $10 could go to some beers. So that's what I did! I got the Bleu Burger with fries. The Bleu burger was great, the pattys are pressed daily and they get the buns across the street at the Beaverton Bakery. Freshness is a key component in a great burger in my opinion. It's one thing when condiments are used to hide the flavor of the meat, it's a whole other demention when the condiments compliment the meat creating a great tasting burger. Paired with a Mac and Jack's I enjoyed watching some football and chowing down, the service was great, and when it was time to go, they knocked off the $20 and honored the voucher. I'm not very picky about burgers. That's not to say I can't tell when it's a good burger, but I don't go out of my way to seek gourmet burgers and anytime I've been dragged to a place touting the "best burgers!" I'm rarely impressed. Soooooo. This place does have like the best burger. We've been here a few times now & it's definitely consistently delicious. The patty itself is thick, juicy and perfectly cooked. There's a bevy of options for toppings but I'm a sucker for bacon so I go for the Bleu Cheese & Bacon option. Even the bun is good (and baked across the street at Beaverton Bakery). Service is also spot on. It's more of a bar than a diner, but dang those servers make sure to check on you all the time! There's always a good selection of drafts on taps & pitchers are priced perfect. Overall a hidden gem that I wouldn't review if there weren't so many already! read more

Great burgers and drinks that fit all price ranges. I like cheap canned beer, Rainier, and top shelf shots, Blanton's Bourbon, and they have that here. If I'm feeling like a premium brew they have those too. The staff is great and they have done a tremendous job putting together the finest jukebox in the area. I've hosted a number of gatherings here and they always come off well. I think what really sets them apart is their attention to detail. Whether it's the Mac and Jack's African Amber on tap or the fact that I can play a rare great song for my friends, finding things that are special here is surprisingly easy. The low reviews on this bar are utter trash. Ball them up and throw them away. This bar is fucking great. One of the bartenders has an "SPQR" tattoo, which is Roman, which is fucking sweet. I had thought about getting that tattoo, but then I saw that. Such is life. Anyways, the food is all very good and at a good price. I particularly love the fries here. The burgers are quite excellent. Chicken strips also good. The beer selection is solid, with plenty of microbrews. They make a good strong cocktail, particularly if they like you. My friend comes here very often to have lunch, and I meet him, have a drink or two, probably the only bar I don't have to flash my ID at. Never had a bad day at this bar. Good pool tables in the back, and they have tournaments too. They have some pinball machines, and a bunch of video poker machines. Wi-fi access. We came to Ringo's a few times for our pool league. The place was clean and the food was alright. I thought the staff was a little unfriendly most times and not trained well. It would always take 5-10 minutes to get check out. One time we were there and they even forgot about our food. After about 1 hour we had to go ask them. totally craving a burger on Sunday and this place popped up out of nowhere on my radar. seriously. I don't know how many times I drove by or even parked in the lot right next to it without noticing it. well... it's was around 2pm and initially we thought it wasn't open because it looked kind of dark inside before we opened the door. thankfully the door did open and we headed inside. the bartender/server came over immediately to take our drink order and came to check up on us frequently while we were there (even though I only had water - being pregnant is NO FUN in a bar!) we knew what we wanted and it definitely didn't disappoint. I really loved the excessive amount of sesame seeds on the bun too (both sides). the fries weren't amazing but the burger more than made up for it! look forward to returning the next time I have a burger craving and want a relaxing place to sit down and relax. read more

We've been here several times and really enjoyed ourselves each time. They have a good selection of local beers and they make good mixed drinks. The food is also pretty good. We've had fried pickles, the broasted chicken, and a couple of different burgers. They have pool tables in the back, of which we have not yet partaken. All of that is good and fine, but what is really awesome about Ringo's is the people who run it. The bartenders and waitstaff are really nice, knowledgeable about their menu, and generally rad. We wanted to see some political debate one night, but eat food and drink away some of the crazy talk, so we asked if they'd show it on one of their several screens which are usually devoted to sports. They found it and showed it behind the bar. The other patrons seemed more interested in that than whatever non-Portland teams were playing and a bunch of friendly banter was had by all. A very comfortable 'come as you are' type place. there is seating at the bar, in a dining area (at booths or tables), a lottery machine area, and an entire back room with about 10 pool tables.
