Used Rinse twice, and both times something went wrong. The first time, an item of clothing was lost. The second time, my laundry was lost so I received a bag of clothes with some of my items and items belonging to someone else. I am missing more than half of what I sent in. It has been several days and my clothing has still not been located, and I am now out several hundreds of dollars in clothes. While customer service has been nice over the phone, there doesn't seem to be any urgency to resolving this issue. I would not recommend you use this service. read more

Pretty reasonably priced for Cambridge and given that it's also a pick up and delivery service. Very flexible hours. Easy to communicate via text. Would definitely use again! Plus there's a great deal for first time customers. read more

DO. NOT. USE. RINSE. I accidentally put a pair of jeans into a Rinse bag that had $450 in the back pocket and what do you know - when I received the bag back, the money was gone. I filed a complaint with Rinse and was told not to worry because "we have surveillance cameras that capture every aspect of the order while it is being cleaned." I then waited for a follow up - crickets. I then followed up a second time, and was told they actually don't have surveillance and that they're "very sorry for my inconvenience". Wow. Just wow. I love Rinse!! They have made my life a lot less stressful! They always deliver and pick up on time, everything comes back so nice and freshly folded. They even matched up about 100 pairs of socks that I had accumulated up over last year!!! I get the 2 bags a month for $112, which is a lot more clothes than you would think. Where do I begin. I was excited to start and try this "convenient, reliable laundry service". Oh boy! little did I know this was going to be a trip from hell served up in a laundry service. A review doesn't do justice to the absurdity, lack of simple customer service and frustration a laundry service can cause someone. One has to live through it to believe it. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Let me start from the very beginning 1) the first rinse was okay. They said they wash and fold. However rolling clothes is not really "folding". While not great for the cost. I can live with it. I was asked for feedback and provided some and my next load did seem like it was "folded". Oh wait, they also stained one of my pants, but hey in the grand scheme of things that is nothing because one does expect a reliable laundry service to come back with a few stains (**not**) 2) the second service was delayed by 2 days. Fair enough. Stuff happens 3) this is when the nightmare starts. I open my delivery and find not a single cloth was my own; which also meant that someone in MA had lost all their belongings due to rinse. 4) so then as one does, I tried to contact customer service. In the case of rinse, this happens to be a text. Don't bother calling in you will be on hold for a fortnight. Who ever manages those texts is probably the most incompetent person in the history of customer service. Not only did they ask me to list line by line ~25 pounds of items, they also don't seem to gather facts and apply some form of logical reasoning. After long periods of silence I was sent a picture with clothes wrapped in a plastic bag (how is one supposed to deduce anything from that? I am no Sherlock Holmes) Well I did and told them it doesn't belong to me. After which a few aggravating hours later they send me the same pic!!!! At this point all I cared about for were my clothes. They did not seem to really investigate the issue and look into the root cause. All their texts seemed generic out of a script. TERRIBLE service! Oh btw, the link they sent me to check those pics never worked! I thought they were a tech start up!! 5) after days of back and forth and them still texting and saying your delivery is on the way I finally emailed an executive. Emailing the executive and then finalku talking to a human (who was helpful and very customer centtuc) my clothes were found( I still don't know if I got all my clothes back, but I am too scarred to contact rinse) 6) this has to be the most aggravating experience. I have sworn never to use rinse again and I would be hesitant to recommend rinse to anyone. FYI. They still send me texts saying they are in my area and ready to deliver my clothes? Awful tech and awful service. STAY AWAY if you value your belongings! And want good laundry service. read more

I'm so excited that Rinse has come to Boston. Unitll Rinse I had to take care of my dry cleaning on the weekends as the cleaners in my neighborhood keep irregular hours and I rarely get out in time to catch them. Now with Rinse, someone picks up and drops off at my door during the week in the evenings -- and does an incredible job at a reasonable price! So much more convenient and one less errand for my weekend! read more

Was looking for a convenient and reliable place for dry cleaning and laundry service for puffy winter coats that technically are not dry cleanable but should really be professionally cleaned. Found Rinse while consulting Yelp and so happy I did. Prices are very reasonable and a full list of prices is available online; pick up and drop off is very convenient - 8pm-10pm on any day of the week; and frequent and helpful texts near your pick up time and ability to track the "valet's" location as they approach your location. Our dry-cleaning and coats were clean, and I plan on using the service again. read more

I used Rinse for dry cleaning and it was a great experience. The prices were the same as what I'd expect to pay in-person at a dry cleaner and the entire process was super easy. I was able to reschedule my deliver for later in the day when my plans changed - just by texting Rinse - and the concierge explained everything I needed to know when she arrived to pick up my first batch. The dry cleaning store on my street went out of business, and I was devastated--I live in a college town where owning a car is not practical and expensive while my work gives 50% off on monthly transit passes. After reading the reviews on the stores within 2 mile radius and near a bus/subway stop, I thought I am doomed and will have to settle and risk having my clothes ruined and cleaned with weird chemicals. Then, I thought there gotta be some genius (like me, ha!) thought of doing pickup and drop off dry cleaning service! After googling, I found Rinse!!! I have to admit I was skeptical and nervous at first, but the scheduling was easy breezy--no harassing calls or emails but professional, courteous welcome message, first time user instruction and schedule confirmation and update texts, etc. Everything is done via texts!!! Best part? They don't allow tipping!!!! And, there is no hidden fees!!! Every piece was charged as advertised on their website and they even waived my delivery fee, which I would've gladly paid for, because it was a whopping $3.99!!!! The velvets were friendly and professional, not weirdos at all! I was worried I will have to chitchat or whatever, but the handoff and receiving were also a breeze!! We exchanged some pleasantry and were on our ways in seconds! My clothes came back perfect and nicely cleaned. Oh, did I mention you can personalize your cleaning preferences!!! Oh, and, all the pickups and drop offs are between 8-10pm, gives you time get back from work, eat you dinner...and rescheduling is super convenient too--all it takes is one text!!! Brilliant!!! Strongly recommended for those who don't own a car, care for the environment and cleaning products, too busy to make trips to the stores, and don't have those washer/dryers with fancy 'fluff wash, air fluff, damp wash, hand wash...' options!!!! read more
