Update! Not only are they still doing a fabulous job with my alterations and dry cleaning, but now I am pleased to report that these folks are great with my shoes too. I took a pair of my favorite French Sole flats here after the insoles were worn down (and, okay I admit, smelly!). They replaced the insole completely with a leather that's very pliable, so the shoes still have the same comfort as before only with smooth leather instead of suede. Oh, and they smell great! And are now easier to clean! So, I just recently brought a 2nd pair to them and got the same great results. What a gem of a place. read more

Keep up the great customer service though haha. Oh and I hope your employee, the one with the exquisite customer service skills, told you that I sent my garment to a textile analysis laboratory in Texas to get it analyzed and confirmed that your services destroyed the fabric on my top. So you will be hearing from me shortly. Just in case you weren't aware of what great customer service is...let me school you. It means the customer comes first! They do a great job. I've brought in many of my Hubby's set in stains and they always get them out! I've used their alterations, seamstress service. They did a great job. I only wish they offered some coupons or took competitors coupons. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would!! They are so unprofessional and disrespectful! For one they ruined one of my dresses I had dry cleaned and had to refund me for the damages. Second, when I went to pick up my husbands shirt it smelled of sweat as if it had not even been washed. When I called back to complain, Siran had the audacity to fight me and tell me to come back and pick up my other belongings because she will not provide me with service!! So rude and disrespectful!! This is not the first time they have done this to someone, my friend has also had the same problem with them. Do yourself a favor and take your dry cleaning somewhere else! read more

Horrible customer service and a very unprofessional establishment! If I could, I'd give them zero stars. They do not dry clean clothes properly but still charge their customers. Doesn't make sense, if you can't provide the service (can't get a stain out etc.), why would you charge your customer? On top of that they're very rude. I definitely won't be coming back! read more

i needed to hem my bridesmaid dress ASAP and luckily Rio is close by. they were very nice and professional. i tried on my dress with the shoes i will wear with the dress and he explained that usually for this kind of dress, it will be slightly above the ground "thats how all the celebrities do it too". i dropped it off on a monday evening, 10 min before they closed. they never complained or commented about the time. after making the adjustments, they told me it would be ready for pick up wed evening. the length was just as he had measured it, nicely done and they also did a complementary press. i wish i would have bought the yelp deal first though because $40 for a hem? ahem, thats a bit pricey. read more

Absolutely the best cleaners in town! The service was beyond welcoming, starting from the staff to the magnificent work they do. I took my shirt that had stains on it and other cleaners made it even worse. Rio cleaners was able to make my shirt look just as new. It's important to trust cleaners with clothes. I trust Rio cleaners with all my clothings. It difficult to find customer service that cares for your belongings. I'm only writing this review because I needed to get Rio's phone number and came to their Yelp page and saw all these ridiculous people giving 1 star reviews because their stains didn't come out of whatever thing they sent in. Newsflash: not all stains can be removed, and you probably knew that going in, and you still have to pay for service, and no, you don't deserve a discount for bringing in a really stained article of clothing and then complaining about it. I've been a Rio Cleaners customer for six years now, and I have had dozens of items of all size and shape cleaned there with zero issue, always on time, never over-priced and always pressed perfectly. I have also had all my tailoring and hemming done with them - they have a nice elderly grandma type lady who does all the work and its always been perfect (including inseam hems, tailoring shirts to make them fit better, etc). I think its a family run operation, and in all the years I've been going there, its always the same familiar faces in front and in back - which to me means that its a place where people want to work, and thats a good thing. They are fairly priced, and are courteous and professional. Don't listen to these whiny crybaby 1 star reviewers. Sometimes people have crappy lives and the only way they can vent is by making someone else's day crappy too. I recommend Rio Cleaners. read more

I want to say how grateful I am. We truly enjoyed all of the work done by this iNCREDIBLE cleaners. They not only adjusted and fit several gowns that I needed for a friend's wedding the same week, but they also patched(read: very small holes and significant tear) the expensive suit pants of my partner so well, until nothing could be seen--HOW GIFTED is the fabulous Seamstress/Tailor and how Blessed is this business to have her! They also cleaned the suit without the horrible chemical smell, and everything was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so very much! Love these guys! Super friendly, best quality work, great customer service etc. I use them for all my regular dry cleaning but they're great at the problem jobs too. At one point, I accidentally washed a mostly white shirt with red PJ pants and the shirt came out with splotches of pink. Bleaching it wasn't an option because there were patterns of other colors on the shirt. I ran it down to Rio and they were able to remove all of the pink. On top of that, the cost was the same as dry cleaning a regular shirt with no additional fee. Such great service! Another time, I had them dry clean my sweatshirt and when I got home I realized that the zipper was broken in the process. I brought it back to Rio and they replaced the zipper free of charge with no upset or haggling whatsoever. The new zipper works better than the previous one did. These guys are the best! To their credit, I've used their services in the past year or so and it has been sufficient. However, when it comes to stain removal or truly "cleaning" an article of clothing, they are completely inept. I brought in a HUGO BOSS suit with some white stains on the lapel. When I returned a few days later, the stains were still there and they said that they were impossible to remove. When I asked what I could do, do you know what they told me? They told me to get rid of the suit and buy a new one. This was a suit that cost me over $1000 dollars and was practically brand new. In my opinion, if they are reading this review, that was a terrible thing to say to a customer. Instead of acknowledging their incompetence, they refused to accept the blame and told me to get rid of a brand new suit. Well, I searched online and found a place in Los Angeles with the best reviews for stain removal, and guess what? My suit looks brand new again!!! I won't be coming here any more - especially not after they tell a customer to throw away clothing that they weren't able to clean. TWO STARS! read more
