Love slash feel bad about going in during an AA meeting, as an addict myself with 20 years of sobriety from my drug of choice it made me feel even more connected to this coffee shop. We are from Idaho but come here whenever we can. I usually get the Snickerfucker got it iced this time and was very pleased with it. They also sell local artists art right off the wall. Love this place from the environment to the service it's all amazing.

This was a nice place to do some studying and catch up with a friend. The place is nice, quiet and plays some nice music. I got a dirty chai, and it was very bitter, probably one of my least favorite dirty chais. The staff are nice, no issues there. Overall, I would still come back and try something else. They have a pretty big menu.

I just want to start off by saying that this is my new favorite coffee shop. Absolutely LOVE the atmosphere! Lots of skulls, beautiful and unique artwork, and cozy couches. The secret menu has delicious drinks with fun names. I have loved every drink that I've tried from the secret menu so far. The baristas that work here are very sweet and friendly. Another thing that makes this place absolutely amazing is the variety of addiction support groups that are held here (e.g., A.A., N.A., C.A., H.A., COD.A.). I love how supportive and accepting this place is. Come for the coffee, stay for the healing!

Such a neat place here! I'm from Dallas and I haven't seen coffee names like these in ages! I ordered a small van halen with ice and oat milk. Very light, a bit nutty but perfect for a hot day to maintain my energy before I was able to get home without feeling exhausted. The vibe is causal with lots of arts, photos and decors. A good place to get coffee to sit and chat, catch up on work or to read a book.

Friendly staff and fun and funky menu! We ordered a bloody valentine , a Van Halen and a nutty Irishman ! (Such yummy coffee)They were so nice with giving us recommendations and so kind ! It was nice to see the humor and silliness with adult humor in the establishment !everything was clean and funky decorated ! Also a big fan of a place that seems to provide community for so many people that need it new favorite spot in town whenever we make our way through!

I tried the drink of the week, but iced.

I was feeling drained and decided to browse for a new coffee shop to try. I was in the neighborhood of Rise & Grind so I popped in. I liked the vibe. Red walls, steer wall decor. It was a mood. There were a few folks either studying or working there. The music switched from some punk to J. Cole during my visit, and I appreciated the variety. The barista was friendly. They have milk options (skim, oat, etc.) and my request for less sweet was executed perfectly. I had the drink of the week, called my bloody valentine, which is dark chocolate and strawberry. 'Twas yummy and I shall return!

Honestly, the hot and iced coffee is bad. The people are great and service was good. Purely based on coffee, won't be going back.

Cute little coffee shop. But the man behind the counter was not friendly at all. Pretty grumpy and not helpful. The coffee wasn't not very good. It was the 'basic bitch' a pumpkin latte of sorts with no pumpkin spice flavor. It tasted like diluted peanut butter water.

Finding this gem of a coffee shop is the entire reason I started using Yelp. It had great reviews, and people weren't lying! I had an iced mocha that was a strong, dark espresso, rich in flavor - que rico! The woman working there was efficient and friendly and showed urgency. The shop was clean and looked like a great hangout cafe. I recommend.

Super chill spot to get work done. Excellent wifi!

The menu has a healthy sense of humor with names such as, "not a fucking caramel macchiato" and "snicker fucker" to name a few.

The vibe, the coffee, the staff. Think: trendy tap house…read morefor coffee. Roasting room visible behind glass, chemistry-steampunk coffee boiling gadgets on the counter, local artwork for sale at a small table in the middle and a standing bar with high stools. Loads of natural lighting (in the morning) My wife got a rose latte, I went for caramel. Standard coffee art (heart-topped wheat shock for her, delicate middle-centered fern on mine). The caramel was light in mine, a pleasant contrast to caramel lattes that emphasize over-saccharine sweetness over the richness of caramel - it could have been that they just used an appropriate amount or it could have been the underlying psychological effect of sitting on the couch while my kids played games and drank their hot chocolates with whipped cream. Either way, I appreciated it. The servers were professional and courteous, and the rose latte came out fast. That said, the room was packed while we were here - a testament to the vibe and the smiles they brew here. Glad we chose this place for our cozy morning respite this morning!

I wanted to find a traditional French boulangerie in SLC but did not see one, Zut alors!…read more I know Paris Baguette is a chain and has an Asian twist so we decided to visit on Saturday morning before driving back to Boise. It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.
