Nice place to grab a cocktail and, in our case, split a creme brulee on the patio, as we had our pupper with us and couldn't sit inside. The Seabrook smash is a nice, light, refreshing bourbon drink (something that cannot generally be said about bourbon), and the aforementioned custard was pitch-perfect: crisp on top, smooth down below. Service was timely and attentive, despite us being in probably the most out-of-the-way table in the whole joint. We'll definitely be back, on our next trip to Seabrook! read more

Locals so come here every so often. The hot honey chicken sandwich is "I will be back for this" worthy. The perfect amount of crispy but yet tender. I arrived on a weekend afternoon and it was very busy already, but I managed to grab a seat at the bar. The bartender was so great, really on top of everything. I opted for the clam chowder, which came with a sourdough roll from the local Vista bakery. I also had a draft Rainier (why I have never had a draft of this before!). It was the perfect combo after a long day of exploration and hiking. Prices are ok, but options are limited in the area. The chowder was more potato than clam forward but tasty regardless. We really wanted to enjoy this place! The atmosphere, the aromas, and the menu all seemed promising. We came for dinner on a Wednesday night in September, just after Labor Day (9/11) and it wasn't particularly busy. With only four tables in the main dining area and one in the tavern, we expected a timely meal, but our food took an hour and a half to arrive--just for a hamburger, fish and chips, and two kids' corn dogs. I understand that things can happen in the restaurant business, but during that entire 1.5 hours, our server never once checked on us. No updates, no drink refills--nothing. My kids and husband thought their meals were just okay. I had the fish and chips, and unfortunately, the fish was bland and full of sharp bones. I've never been poked by a fish bone before, and it was pretty unpleasant. When I mentioned it to our server, they said they'd inform the manager, but that was the end of it. We weren't looking for anything comped, but after waiting 1.5 hours on a slow night and dealing with a sharp fish bone, some acknowledgment or effort would've been appreciated. read more

This is the third year we've been back and while we had an enjoyable time before, this last time was rather awful and expensive to boot. We ordered fish and chips which always used to be a hit, but this time, half the fried filets were gray and smelled of ammonia. We were driving through Seabrook and decided to stop for lunch. We happened upon Rising Tide and decided to head on in. Best decision we made all day! We ordered a few drinks as well as the loaded tavern fries and Korean wings. Everything was 5 star delicious! The wings were crisp but juicy and the Korean sauce was perfection. Not too terribly spicy and they were so flavorful. The fries were fantastic as well. The cheese sauce was silky and creamy. The service was excellent. And the ambiance is upscale but not overly so. Service was attentive even as the restaurant filled up. Seven of us were able to walk in and get seated right away. High ceilings lots of windows made for great ambience on a rainy day. The food was excellent. The Korean wings that came out a perfect blend of sweet and spicy without being too sweet like teriyaki is or too spicy the way sometimes buffalo wings can be. The brussels sprouts which were happily not overcooked but still firm and tossed in a delicious balsamic. The fish and chips were excellent we requested grilled fish instead of battered for a healthier meal and the portions of fish were substantial and met our protein desires. The mac & cheese was delicious but came out not hot enough. The salad was a very good portion, ideal for a lunch salad, and Was an excellent balance of flavors with broccoli as well as seeds and quinoa. I really wanted to give this place a chance after seeing the bad reviews. Should have listened. I can't believe how expensive this place is for food that is so terrible. If it wasn't for it being in such a small town, they would not survive. We had fish and chips, fish tacos, clam chowder and a mini cheeseburger for my 2 year old. The fish was so bland. The worst fish and chips we've ever had. Fish tacos were eh. My son didn't even eat the patty of the cheeseburger. It was so dry and bland as well. The kid's mini cheeseburger is pretty much 1 slider. And it's pretty much the same price as the sliders, which includes 3. Chowder is ok, not the best. The workers are also very condescending. Hopefully someone can come to this restaurant to teach them a few things or sell it to someone who knows what great food and customer service is. I'll admit, at first glance of the menu my initial impression was "this is going to be your basic, moderately elevated bar food". This was NOT THAT. The cocktails are very intentionally, and artfully, crafted with passion and enthusiasm. Even their improved, barrel aged revision of Malort is good (if you know malort, you probably know it's not a spirit people go out of their way to drink) Ha! The dishes we ordered were simple yet extraordinarily thoughtful. Full of well rounded, unexpected flavors that delight the pallet. *chefs kiss* Things we ordered: -Halibut with a gastrique sauce, paired with veggies. By far the best halibut dish we've ever experienced. The sauce was delicious and the fish was portioned and cooked to perfection. -Chowder, fabulous. -Burger & fries, as expected. Fries are BOMB. Aioli is on point. -Brussels spouts, the only dish that (albeit good!) needs a tad refining. Perfectly crisped, but slightly over caramelized. This family friendly tavern was a short walk from our place. No reservations needed. We got there around 5:30pm with a party of 5 and the place had 2 tables occupied. The place gave off an inviting vibe with a holiday atmosphere and a welcoming elf at the bar. Background music with SEB and Dominic Fike on the playlist was a hit with 2 of our Gen Z kids. The friendly waitress was attentive and efficient. The kids menu portions were small and heavily weighted towards fries. The price point of signature cocktails made us question their value, especially considering the nearby market offered comparable spirits for the cost of two drinks. I totally understand that places have to pay rent, pay wages, pay for food and pay for overhead. But, these prices were far outside what one would expect. Here is the concern - my daughter ordered a Cesar Salad - fairly pedestrian - not a lot of flavor - not a lot of grated parmesan cheese - not overly flavorful croutons. What she didn't see was the small print when she ordered chicken as a protein. One small formulaic pressed chicken breast - $14 for the chicken - $14! The salad ended up costing $28 dollars - add tax - you are talking about a $30 plus salad - wow. Felt totally ripped off. Bottom line - read the small print! read more

Interesting place in an interesting area. The wait service was amiable, and I think they went out of their way to make a connection with me. The site itself is spotless but sort of sterile. It is located in the town of Seabrook, which reminded me of a city in Florida called Celebration. For those unfamiliar, Celebration is the town Disney built in Orange County Florida as part of a vision for the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT). Walt would have been proud of Seabrook as it is a wholly planned community that is ultra-Americana themed. The quaint town hall that looks like an old church, the Main Street USA, and not very diverse, if you know what I mean. Of course, the people who work at the stores and restaurants cannot afford to live there, let alone buy anything, as the prices for these homes and condos are WAY out of sight. But I digress. The restaurant itself, like the town, has no character. It's okay for beer and wine, but I did not eat anything there so I couldn't tell you about any of it. So, Friendly wait staff, a sterile environment, in a sterile characterless town. So, for those reasons, I am awarding three stars. The food was just okay, the Korean wings were good and the clam chowder was good enough, but the serving for a bowl was just a large cup and 16$ we also got shorted a wing. We were looking at the menu outside and deciding between this and another restaurnat when the chef greeted us and mentioned some of the specials to us. He said the magic word "Burssel Sprouts." If you have never read any of my previous reviews, this is my fav thing to eat. We were sold, and he did not disappoint with the exception of the Poutine which is no fault of his own. I used to live in Montreal, and always found this to be one of the more vile foods known to man. However, this one said it had it was vegatarian and came with local mushrooms. That being said it was the best Poutine I have ever had, but made me realize i am going to stay away from it regardless of how it is served. Stayed at Seabrook last week, and this place was one of the restaurants this cute little town has to offer. The place is really clean inside and out. My family and I decided to order to-go from this place prior to their closing, since we've tried the other restaurants already. My husband ordered the cheeseburger, I had the half Amish chicken, my son had the cheese shells, and my daughter had the clam chowder. The total came almost to $100 after the tip. I have nothing disappointing to say about the customer service, and the price of their food is pretty decent. Two complaints I have: 1) the chicken was tasteless, like it was just stuck in the oven to get baked; and, to top it off the inside was raw! 2) my daughter said there were more potatoes in her "clam chowder" than there were clams. I could not bring back the food since the restaurant had already closed. However, I did throw away the rest of my chicken for fear of food poisoning like someone had posted on here previously. I don't think we will be eating at this place again if we ever go back to Seabrook. It was sooooo not worth the $100 we spent! read more

Favorite dinner spot in seabrook. I've had the clam chowder, burger, and the trout and they are all amazing. If you are only able to go once I'd recommend the burger- add bacon. I've also tried the deconstructed cannoli for dessert and it was much better than expected. It was a bunch of small fluffy flat donuts with dipping cream, which I actually liked better than a typical cannoli. They also have a nice selection of beer and cocktails. There are fewer wine options, but you can bring in a bottle from the wine shop which is great. Such a great seabrook addition. read more

We had to wait 20 minutes for ranch to come out when asked. I understand that they were going through some staffing issues, but that's a little too long.
