I always get excellent service. The Pharmacy is outstanding. On several occasion the store manager has gone beyond to be of assistance

10/10 would recommend! The girls here are always such a great pleasure and are very helpful when it comes to dealing with my prescriptions.

Every single time I come here the ice cream stand is closed by 8pm. Today I even called first and the gal said they were still serving ice cream and that it closed at 10. So my wife and I make the drive and sure enough... the ice cream is no longer being served. C'mon Rite Aid. Fix it! read more

Monica, a manager there, wouldn't stop raising her voice and arguing with me when I disagreed with her even after I asked her to stop. It was embarrassing and I was not comfortable and didn't care who was right any longer, but in front of a long line of customers, she yelled " here's your Fucking receipt!" She then got negative comments from those waiting. Good hire choice Rite Aid!! So unprofessional! She probably would have written up an employee for doing what she did. She must be sleeping with the boss because she didn't care at all about her bad behavior. I may be a secret shopper, you never know. read more

The best thing about this Rite Aid is that they sell hand dipped Thrifty's ice cream. Really takes me back to my childhood - although 1 scoop is now $1.99, when I was a kid it was 25 cents. Inflation ;-/ read more

5 years of bad pharmacy reviews and it's only getting worse. My doctor electronically sent in a Scrip at 9 am...still not ready at 4. Was told that the system "doesn't alert them". Well, if you know this shouldn't you check it on a regular interval throughout the day? Everyone in waiting area with the same story. Multiple trips, missing scrips, etc. Just found out Pharmaca is an option and will be moving there. read more

One of the nicest rite aid locations I have been to. It's very new... I'm pretty sure they recently opened. The pharmacists were also nice but the wait for my prescription was about 15 minutes even though there was only 2 people ahead of me in line. read more

This place is crap. Never enough help, always long lines and the employees haven't figured out what a smile is nor what customer service is. They should first fire the manager the all of the employees and start over. What a joke. read more

These people are the worst. The staff is miserable, surly, lazy, and unprofessional. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Just about every time I am there they screw something up, often blaming the doctor's office for their mistakes. They even gave me someone else's prescription once. I've complained to management several times but they don't seem to care. Two miles away at Von's Pharmacy, they are exactly the opposite; friendly, professional, and competent. read more

Trust all of the bad reviews and don't waste your time. Took my son's RX in to be filled and they stated it still needed to be verified by the Dr. office (which wasn't open). He's been taking this for over a year and we've never had a issue. We don't have days to wait for a medication. Employee was rude to top it off. Spend you time, money and effort elsewhere. read more

What an awful store. I was just treated so unbelievably rude I cannot believe it. The whole store and both my kids just heard the cashier who was SO nasty for me for no reason..I hadn't said a word to her when she snapped at me that she was ready to "help" me. Her attitude got worse by the second and when I spoke to the "manager" (who was right next to her through all this) he could not have cared less. Rarely do I write reviews but this was just ridiculous. I have not had a worse experience since I moved to Carlsbad. I go there every day for ice cream w my kids and will not go back. I've been going to this Rite aid for the past five years, on a weekly basis. I use their pharmacy, and stock up on cleaning supplies, makeup and shampoos, and detergents. Since they opened the Thrifty ice cream shop, our whole family drops in to get ice cream once a week. The staff is always friendly, upbeat, and very helpful. The staff in pharmacy are very nice and helpful as well. read more

I dread going to the pharmacy to refill my monthly prescription. Seriously, Zombies do exist in the form of Rite Aid pharmacy workers. Every time, without fail, my prescriptions are not ready when I try to pick them up. It doesn't matter whether I have called them in the day before or the same day. Also doesn't matter when my doctor has submitted a prescription. It is so annoying to be told to come back in 15 or 20 minutes. The excuse is always that they are working on it. This store is great. We use the Rx and on occasion can be crowded but they give you great service and the pharmacists really care about their customers. The store was revamped...very needed, but has become a mini-superstore. I really like this drugstore the staff seems to have little attrition and it appears to be a well stocked store. read more

I very rarely write reviews... So when I do write one it's really only when that company or corporation really leaves an impression; whether negative or positive. I have never thought I would see the need in writing one about 'rite aid' because it's just your average joe drug store. However, tonight when I went in there... An employee working ( alex, a young woman) really rubbed me the wrong way. A nice older lady was in front of me taking a little bit more time than an average customer should take going through check out because her phone number wasn't working or being read through the system in order for her to get her discount on the sale items. She's tried three times and At the point you could tell the employee, alex was getting really irritated. She then yelled to another check out guy saying "you might wanna open another line" -- and that is when I finally offered the woman to use my number. It was very uncomfortable to see the way the employee went about it. Not once did she smile or say anything to help the lady. I then get up for my turn and she simply rung me up and asked next in line. No "have a good day" no nothing. At least pretend to like your job and fake smile... It's better than being rude & maybe your shift won't be as miserable as it looks. read more

They frequently close early and don't seem to care about customer service. The manager will insist that their clocks are correct, but they are a few minutes fast (checked with my cell phone that runs on satellite time) and the manager will not help you or let you in, even to get just one item quickly. I suppose they can refuse to help customers and close early if they wish, but it doesn't leave a positive impression when I made a special trip to the store, only to find they closed early. When they do let you in the store, lines are long, they are understaffed, and, as a result, wait times are long. Management doesn't seem to care about customer service, that customers have to wait so long, or that customers have a good experience and leave satisfied. Not recommended at all. Find somewhere that has management who appreciates your business. There are many other options for drug stores. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. they are rude and act like zombies, they keep getting me mixed up with someone else with the same last name. They do not answer the phone and could care less if you complain. read more

I like this Rite Aid. The manager Michael is VERY friendly and helpful. Their store is "coupon friendly". I have used the pharmacy in the past with no issues. I would recommend this location. Kudos to the manager! read more

This review is regarding the pharmacy. I care for an elderly lady that is blind and very hard of hearing. She lives 2 miles from Rite Aid and I regularly go there to pick up prescriptions for her. I can't leave her for long. Unfortunately most of the time I have to wait in a long line because there is only one person at the counter. The staff is efficient and friendly but the staffing is terrible. This note is really for the management: YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE 2 PEOPLE AT THE COUNTER. I am going to start a log of how many people are in line, how long it takes to get help and I will post it online regularly. read more

Angie W. - The technician who you are talking about is called Sharon. I know this because I have had the sane horrible experience with her in particular compared to the rest of the staff at the pharmacy. I have been told multiple times by her that I am wrong when I have told her that I recieved text message saying that my prescription was ready for pick-up and when I go to the store it is not ready. Even though I have the text message to show her, she still has persisted to tell me I am wrong and has never apoligised for the lack of poor service. On two seperate occasions she shoved the prescriptions in my face, infront of other customers, to the point where I found her behavior somewhat abusive and uncomfortable. Her manager has apoligised for Sharon's behavior but clearly she has never been reprimanded. When I came to pick up a prescription on another occasion and it was not ready, she tried to tell me that I never dropped off the prescription and called me a liar. I have calmly told her that I don't know why I experience so many problems with Rite Aid because after being a customer of other Rite Aid locations for over 20 years, I have never experienced so many problems with one loaction on a constant basis. She simply laughed at me when I said this. The next time after this incident I sent a friend in to pick up my prescrition because quite frankly I was not in the mood to deal with Sharon and she actually mentioned to my friend that I had been extremely unhappy with the service in the store on my last visit. I found this unacceptable because why would she be bringing up my name to a friend of mine picking up my prescrription. I found this very strange. The I feel quite embarassed for Sharon for her offensive behavior. Because I have worked in the customer service industry myself in the past, I expect better from a sales assoicate. As a human being, I expect to be treated with respect. These examples that I have noted above are just a few examples of the instances that have happened with Sharon at the Rite Aid store. Only for convenience of close proximity to my house, I would be going to a different Rite Aid store. It has gotten to the point where I actually dread going in to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription because I do not like dealing with rude individuals. In actuality though, I do feel bad for Sharon because she must be one miserable human being to treat others with such verbal abuse. read more
